Impact has to be the NA goat by now. Ever since 2016 he has been top 3 in NA and never below, strong international performance and never gets rekt like Huni did. Just because his playstyle isnt a hard carry playstyle people keep overlooking him.

Faker floor game were terrible, he solo lost ton of games by jumping in, griefing his lane. ShowMaker never did that, he would just afk most games or simply loose lanes because of his unability to play meta champions well

i get that zeka has been pronounced like that in the lpl, but all of lck casters - korean/english are calling him differently and also he and his teammates are calling him jeka.
I think it’s hard to rank some of g2 as high as they were given the environment they compete in, but they do have a ceiling that could prove it correct. Hope we get to see it happen, but their summer was pretty uninspiring.

i think Tomo is pretty underrated tbh. he had an immediate impact on 100T and they played considerably better with him than with Meech. his laning is definitely a bit subpar but his teamfighting was on par with Massu and Yeon imho, and he also improved dramatically over the course of the second half of summer + playoffs. i know he was middling on DIG but he already looked way better on 100T, i could see him being the next APA and showing up big next year. i would def have him above supa, maybe even noah
Peyz at fourth for playing one bad series against HLE is insane. Apart from the last series, peyz was better than viper for the whole split. He was consistent and showed up when he needed to.

Difference is Viper fell off hard and Aiming was really strong at the end of the season. Peyz was always there, including geng in multiple games where his team mates ran it down. Point is, the discussion was always there. It was never clear cut. Peyz not falling off at any point in the season is easily a reason to rate him high compared to any other korean adc.
The problem with rating Humanoid is that he could literally be the worst mid in the tournament or top 4/5 depending on his motivation to actually try. He'll never just be in the middle tho xD
If he puts lehends top 15 who you want him to move down on geng. Geng isnt way better than everyone else so they cant just have 5 top 20 players and not clearly be the best team

I will say, on top of the thing that mid lane might attract better players more, these are of course teams that have already been filtered. So I think there are so many mid laners at the top because mid laners are just more impactfull, so a team with a good mid and a meh adc will do better than a team wih a good adc and a meh mid.

The only ranking i really disagree with is Scout being so low, he deserves to be above Xiaohu and maybe even Creme, he was by far the best player on LNG and they were the 2nd best team regular season and were effectively neck in neck with Weibo in the post season, and Dom, with the exception od Zika/Breathe, has every single player rated significantly higher than LNG's
As much as I hate Zeka he had an insane playoffs and seems to feel good in this meta, he's the first player in a long time that I watched simply lane mid and think "shit man reminds me of Faker" because he literally just solo outplays everyone
I'm really surprised that meiko wasn't rated higher. He's been arguably the best support in the world this year. Also, Faker's lane phases have been bad, but showmaker's have also been hella sus. In playoffs showmaker averaged sub 9 cspm, Faker at least managed 9.1.

I think it’s hard to rank some of g2 as high as they were given the environment they compete in, but they do have a ceiling that could prove it correct. Hope we get to see it happen, but their summer was pretty uninspiring.

i think Tomo is pretty underrated tbh. he had an immediate impact on 100T and they played considerably better with him than with Meech. his laning is definitely a bit subpar but his teamfighting was on par with Massu and Yeon imho, and he also improved dramatically over the course of the second half of summer + playoffs. i know he was middling on DIG but he already looked way better on 100T, i could see him being the next APA and showing up big next year. i would def have him above supa, maybe even noah

Peyz at fourth for playing one bad series against HLE is insane. Apart from the last series, peyz was better than viper for the whole split. He was consistent and showed up when he needed to.

Difference is Viper fell off hard and Aiming was really strong at the end of the season. Peyz was always there, including geng in multiple games where his team mates ran it down. Point is, the discussion was always there. It was never clear cut.
Peyz not falling off at any point in the season is easily a reason to rate him high compared to any other korean adc.

I will say, on top of the thing that mid lane might attract better players more, these are of course teams that have already been filtered. So I think there are so many mid laners at the top because mid laners are just more impactfull, so a team with a good mid and a meh adc will do better than a team wih a good adc and a meh mid.

I'm really surprised that meiko wasn't rated higher. He's been arguably the best support in the world this year. Also, Faker's lane phases have been bad, but showmaker's have also been hella sus. In playoffs showmaker averaged sub 9 cspm, Faker at least managed 9.1.

People are also forgetting that HLE did almost beat GENG in Spring as well, when Chovy did the 1v9 thing with Azir. HLE also matched GENG well in the early game and you could see that if they could sort their mid-late game decisions out, they could very well match GENG. This is coming from the biggest GENG fan by the way. GENG is the best team in the world, despite the loss, but by no means unbeatable and a single day that they let their guard down, it will be bye-bye Worlds.
