As a leader at work my message to my team is always focus on what you can control. Two things.... Effort and Attitude. Right now this team isn't even doing that
Was at the Sharks game last night as they hosted the Kings and watched two teams work fast and hard. Can’t say the same of late for my NYRs. I hope the team will rally around the mention of Kreider up for trade.
Mika played an underwhelming game against lowly Blues. He used to race towards puck . They looked so drowsy. These guys have to be all-in ! They do not seem like they are all-in !
Too many cute lazy passing that works in a lax practice but kills you in an intense game. Plus horrible positioning with either too much puck chasing or puck watching.
Already have to rebuild since they cut short the other rebuild and let go a couple core players they should have kept to then make some horrible trades and at worse signings. Which thwarted the rebuild and have been back to chasing failed one and done cups for the last 4 years.
He's not making excuses. He only retired a few years ago, so in his commentary he's always referring back to his experience - trying to explain what it's like for the players on a granular level - what they're probably thinking and how they react to things. No player will ever say "We just flew back from Edmonton and we're tired," but travel impacts a player physically and mentally. It's a factor. He never said it's the reason they lost last night - he went on at length about all the other problems they're having.
Its sounds great, but the guys who are playing badly are unmovable and if you do it now, you are admitting they are back to a rebuild. The cap is what it is, nothing is changing. They are 12-6-1, not even 20 games yet, the fans are so spoiled or they never watched an entire season. Last year they started fast in their first 20 and played as bad as you can in the next 25 and the same calls for getting rid of the core, this guy suck, that guy sucks, we need to blow it up statements as usual. Then the last 40 games they played well and went into the playoffs playing well. The only thing that matters is making the playoffs, playing well going into playoffs and hopefully healthy going into the playoffs. Crying over individual games or stretches is nonsensical. And if you have watched 5- 45 seasons, you should get that by now.
Trade mika, Miller and trouba. Fowards need to back and fore check better overall, and especially when the defense jump into plays. It's been a issue for years under 3 different coaches, so now I would say it's definitely a player problem not coaching
@johnharmon536 I'm a Devils fan too. I think it's way too early for the Rangers and the fans to panic. This slump does not seem systematic to me. Sports writers are always trying to freak fans out. There's tons-o-games left.
Our team needs a makeover, if Drury can't make it happen during the season, it's time to bring up the our prospects. I'm done watching the elders play uninspired hockey. I'll say this untill he's off the team, Mika is not a #1 Center, on any other playoff, cup contending team, he would be a #2. I was the only one I knew that never wanted to give him that #1 Center contract, instead I wanted to keep Buch & boy did I ever get flac for wanting that. Mika needs to go & he needs to take Krieder with him, enough is enough with these two. Our team defense is none existent & the mojo we had last year is gone, this team looks disjointed & uninspired. Lavi is partly to blame too, every time they put the camera on him during games he looks bewildered & clueless, never giving it to the team & never trying to ignite the spirit of our team. Trouba needs to go to, it seems like his relations are broken after things leaked Things need to change. ✌️💀♥️🗽💙🏒🥅

Im so glad this came out today. Looking forward to hearing the conversation
I know it’s still early but the Rangers will need a miracle to make the playoffs.
I said exactly the same thing after few first games...
I hope they make the playoffs but they may not JS

Any word if Kreider is actually hurt…we’ve heard both upper and lower body for him
Where’s Mollie?
Watch go on a 10 game win streak tear now 😂😂 comeback GODS

Brian Boyle with the excuses "last night they were tired".

@@humanbeing2420 If it were one game fine. But it's the last 14 and especially the last 3.
@humanbeing2420 what happened in the Edmonton game? Tired?

Would've liked to hear Mollie's input.
They must be tired every game

These two added nothing that a guy with a beer watching at home can see
Troubas' not going anywhere. No one wants him and his huge contract. Typical Rangers from the high to the low.
Play rempe !
Come on, please. There is nothing there
they did. he took a bad penalty in a close game. contributed nothing else.
With all that being (well) said, they are on pace for 100 points at the end of the season. ;)
Does anyone is willing to bet on that as things stand?
Shesty definitely has a lot to do with this mess. Wasn't happy with JUST becoming the most expensive goalie in the entire NHL.
Go Devils!!!
Nope

Who?😂
Fire Laviolette, hire Boyle.
🤔🤔🤔
Nice eye brows girl
The New York Rangers are a soft team
It’s the coach not doing his job
They look out of shape. 🏒
