@@jvz1448 Exactly what I did. Bought this exact one in black on black with an RMR. Price is crazy until you shoot one. I also find slightly more comfortable to carry than the C2 even though they are very close in size. I am now looking at dumping my sub compacts and adding a 3.25” without RMR for tough to conceal situations, shorts and t shirt, etc. C2 is awesome, this is just the next level up.

As usual you nailed it, as build quality goes, I’ve always seen the Wilson guns as the Cadillac of US made guns, still leaving room for the Roll’s and Benz and everything in between.
The fit and finish of any gun is my gauge, then watching Chris drive nails from 50 & 100 yards out seal’s the deal.
Still waiting for Mrs Outlaw to shoot it as I’ve come to respect her opinion. Being an old fart, if she can handle the recoil, so can I 😃 I can still handle my 1911’s but they hurt 😞 the next day.
Who am I fooling, my Beretta 92 hurts too!
Guess it’s just meant for me to live vicariously through straight forward channels like this one. Thanks for your great content!

It looks like a great carry/duty with a 4" barrel gun, but there are too many highly reliable alternatives that are half its price. I don't think I could justify replacing my $1,200 p226 legion with this gun, with money not even being part of the consideration. Other than failed primers, I've not had a malfunction in over 2500 rounds. I'm not into competition and I think my Shadow 2 and souped up Tanfo Stock III fit my needs for accuracy at half the price. That said, I can't hit out past 25 yards on a regular basis with these 60-year-old eyes. Chris is an amazing shooter.

I was about to order one with an RMR and threaded barrel at around 4300$ but saw the 4" on BDU for 2600$ delivered w/o optic cuts. I am considering going with a stacatto as well to get a threaded barrel and RMR for around 1,000$ less than the wilson especially seeing how much you like yours. Unfortunately I also watched your CMMG Dissent video and the STI has to go on the backburner since I love the wilson and really like the concept of the the Dissent(Of course I have DD PDW and Omega 300 in jail right now). My Dan Wesson Valor has been dethroned. Definitely the finest handgun I have ever had the pleasure to own. The first day out my baby hands were not fond of the metal grips but it has been over a month and I absolutely love it. I wish I could've went with the custom coyote brown one I wanted but couldn't justify the extra 1700$ IMO with the cost of ammo these days

At 6:00 said fiber optic front sight with black out rear sight is probably the best, but at 6:23 said if will keep probably (keep red dot) and switch red front sight to black out. The reason I bring this up is consider getting optics cut on next 9mm. One issue is the Chicago suburbs ranges limit pistol shooting to 25yards.

Hard to tell sometimes if a gun sucks as clearly you've worked extremely hard and can easily hit targets at ranges I personally once in a blue moon in perfect conditions can hit. It is fun to watch an experienced and passionate shooter make shots, I'm starting to watch not just what you say about a gun but do a lot of pausing to see how you grip, raise the gun, even breath timing. Sincerely appreciate you and a few other of my go to reviewers talk about pros, cons, etc. Been a great year for me and my gun safe, blessed to have dodged a bit of the COVID disruptions and got 7 great guns in the high 800-1200 range, decked out a few with new optics, swapped sights etc. and loaded up on ammo. Good timing, there have been some great stuff come out past couple of years. Long thank you, but definitely impact my purchasing decisions.

well many of the high-end guns are hand fitted, then bench rest tested/proof, and are guaranteed to shoot a certain sized grouping at certain distances before shipping out to customers..... so if you buy one of those and aren't achieving those groupings, it's pretty safe to say it's not the gun's fault 😂

2,800 does not seem like a lot of money when you consider that my Colt Series 80, that I have owned for more then 25 years was 2,000 to have worked into the gun it is now. That is not counting the cost of the gun itself. Back then you couldn't really buy many 1911's off the shelf that were very good. 25 plus years ago, you buy the gun then send it in to make it 100% reliable. Compared to my Glock, that was issued to me from my department, it is a lot of money. The agency I work for buys Glocks by the thousands, and they pay about 250 each for them in that quantity. I love my 1911, but my Glock is with me nearly 24/7. I tell people that a 1911 is like a classic car, it's the gun you show your friends. The Glock is like a Toyota Camry, it works 100% and you don't worry about what happens to it.

Great video! Quick question, when it comes to accuracy, can this beat a CZ Shadow 2, Staccato P or CZ TSO?

      Staccato, that’s a close call

That’s cool and all but when will we finally get the Wilson combat hi-point?

My fav CC pistol is a Beretta 92x compact but I wouldn’t call $760 cheap exactly.

Hi Chris, loyal followers of your channel. Question: I am considering getting g a Wilson combat SFX9 or SFT9. I love bul barrels like on My Stacatto C2. I am hearing some say the SFT9 with 4.25 bushing barrel has a softer recoil and better trigger. SFX9 TO SFT9 similar but different and I would like to know your honest opinion and if you had to choose one, which would it be. Some items to consider 4in to 4.25 in barrel, Bull vs Bushing, internal vs external extractor.etc... thanks. Mike P. From SC

Both my Staccato C2s will put 9mms on top of each other at 25 yards. 100 dings on steel no problem. Only wish they made it in 45 ACP.

I looked at their website and settled on a .40. Told the wifey and her jaw dropped. Then she dropped. I don't shoot often enough she said after she woke up. She's right.
    To those that have one...congrats.

Waiting on this gun to ship. It'll be my new primary carry gun. As far as I can tell, it's the thinnest 1911 style, compact sized gun (at the grip) for the amount of rounds it holds. I'm curious about what else might be out there that compares. Maybe the Dan Wesson DWX if it ever goes into production.
One thing I wish people reviewing this or the EDC X9 would talk about is how its drop safety is compared to a standard 1911 with a grip safety on it. Can't find any info on it

For the sighting issues, you can always change out the front fiber optic to green like shadow systems. Speaking of which, if you're taking requests, can we get a cr920 or dr920p review when they come out?

Bullseye shooters? Are bettet cause they use only 1 hand? LOL. I was told Wilson trained with Jim Clark Sr. Clark Custom guns. Back in the day. I know they where good friends as well.

Have you come across a good appendix carry holster for this (SFX9 with optic) ... having a bit of a hard time sourcing one. Thanks !

Until a month ago i really wanted this gun but at the moment i cant justify this price for my edc so im just going to buy a custom made sig p320 axg for $1500. Ill come back to the sfx9 for $2895, in about a year.
