you look exactly like a coworker I had about 19 years ago at a kfc/tacobell on yonge steeles. I really hope its not you because this is such a huge waste of money, I can pay 50 bucks and have a better dinner at a local taco place (no joke).
Thank you for sharing. At least now I know that this is not the place to spend my hard earn money. This type of dining will one day soon meet the same fate as TORONTO's condo market
There are certainly more expensive restaurants in Toronto-you could easily find them with a quick Google search. However, the editor here doesn’t specify how many dishes were ordered, whether the meal included high-cost items like premium cuts of meat or fish, or any other details that might justify the price. Plus, in any restaurant, alcohol will significantly raise your bill, and when you add taxes and tips, the total can escalate quickly. Secondly, this person clearly has no idea how to conduct themselves in a fine dining environment; he was eating like a pig. And if you’re going to such an upscale place, you should at least dress appropriately. Imagine showing up in casual streetwear, like a t-shirt, just because you're willing to pay the high prices! As a restaurant owner, I wouldn’t tolerate that-it harms the restaurant's reputation. Restaurant is lucking of any elegant decor and art. It seems they tolerate poor dressing because the focus relies on business earnings. Personally, I find the idea of mixing meat and fish in a single meal rather unappealing. I can’t imagine how that combination would feel in my stomach-it seems like a recipe for an upset stomach. But I get that many cultures are fine with such mixes. Still, the next day, you might find yourself questioning the value of that $1,300 dinner while sitting on your toilet taking a dump. Lol. As someone who has studied culinary arts, it’s disappointing to watch this video clip; it really misrepresents the fine dining experience. That’s just my take. 🤷♂️
You wouldn't mix seafood and meat in the same meal? It happens all the time. You've never had steak oscar or a shrimp cocktial appetizer before a steak? Also you "wouldn't tolerate" a t shirt in your restaurant? 🙄
This is absolutely what Toronto is.
Dude dressed up in his jammies to go to a high end restaurant 😂
He looks like one of Toronto’s homeless. There should be a dress code
@@lauramuir1325 Good heavens, someone dressed like a plebian in a high end restaurant? Someone should call the police!
I'm glad he got himself ready for the occasion 😂
Looks amazing! Thanks for sharing Fred!
Okay, was it worth it? You ate, and it was over? No closing thoughts?
It’s one of those meals that when you leave you need a Big Mac combo to satisfy the hunger that’s still there.
Its more food than it looks like, it was like 10 courses
Yes 3 more bites than a seven coarse meal. After That last bite I would have been just stuffed!
very surprised that there's no dress code...
That could buy a family food for a couple months
You go to the best restaurant in Toronto dressed like that? Shame on you !
There are more expensive steakhouses than that in Toronto
If you know, you know.
This stuff just proves that because you have money doesn't mean you have brains.
Remind me of the bear tv series.
This is how not to dress when you go out...I'm embarrassed for you...
Dude looks like nickado avocado
HE DOES
Rich people really be wasting $200 for a single bite of a quarter of an appetizer

🔥
Three Michelin Star price, One Michelin Star food, Zero Star service, looked like low standards to me . . . this place is a joke!
Not shaved and t shirt. Come on
Pretentious, almost to the point of childish. Obviously overpriced. Perfect for Toronto.
I mean its ultra fine dining. I didn't feel it was pretencious, just unique dishes. Everything looked beautiful imo
if I'm going to pay 1300 for a meal screw the dress code
