My friend and I are both stitching Serenity and we are loving it. I love your stitch Three Things, seeing the colors of the floss makes me want to order it. You are so lucky that you were able to get one of the finishing boards from Men Made. I tried getting the board for Christmas Rules, put it in my cart went to pay and it came back sold out. I really don't know how you do it all, Sarah. I teach, too (although at the university) and I am absolutely exhausted by the time I get home at night. I simply can't think about picking up a cross stitch when I just collapse at night. Tis the season for exhaustion!
Cross stitch is my sanity. Even when I’m exhausted, I have to at least put in a few stitches. It relaxes me and helps me focus on something other than the cares of the day.
Happy Anniversary! We see fewer and fewer couples reaching milestones like 17 years so CONGRATULATIONS!! I’m not a Halloween stitcher but I do enjoy seeing what you are up to. I’m a little OCD (okay, not a little), so I square up my fabric first. I mark my corner and usually do the left side and top borders first. Then I add 3” to the bottom and the right side then trim off the bulk. Seeing your Three Things Sampler makes me want to start it BUT I promised myself I’d finish Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow before starting another big girl. I only have 2 blocks left. I am monogamous stitching her right now. Love your videos. You keep me motivated. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤

Fall is my favorite season. My 4th-grade teacher was my favorite teacher ever. My son even had her and was his favorite as well. I'm sure you are creating the same type of memories as well withyour students. We are still in contact with her and teachers make a difference I know she did with both me and my son.
