In my school (school is in our capital city, so it should have better conditions to study than in other cities) we don't have doors on toilet (until I was in public WC, my childish brain thought that is normal to see each others genitals + sometimes boys come to see girls there too), in the second corps of school boys take a knife to school with themselves and that is why teachers don't let us to walk in corridors. Teachers can swear you, humiliate without any reason and no one will stop them. After 9th grade teachers don't teach you anything, but school force you to come and seat in class. The way you stupidly waste your time in school effects on your final entrance exams' marks.

this makes me feel so old watching vlogs from secondary school students, currently in my final year as a uni law student so graduating soon but it feels nostalgic watching this bc it makes me reminisce my days back in secondary where everything was pure fun and not stressful aaah. i hope all the best for you in your exams and such, make the best out of it until the end !!!!

We hate our uniforms, the uniform rules are so strict (shirts must be tucked in, skirts can't be rolled up, skirt must be certain length e.c.t) and they're soooo uncomfortable and takes ages to put on and take off
@frenchfries omg samee or bring coats that aren't neutral colour, were not even allowed to carry our coats in our arms while walking around school, we have to put them in a plastic bag. And if there's anything wrong with our uniform (including coats and chewing gum) we get a signature on our uniform card, 4 signatures result in detention 💀
@@Pinkblossom123. as an Indian atleast you guys' uniform are pleasing to look at,we have the same strict rules and even our rubber bands and hair clips should be of specific colours,no colourful shoes or socks and hair should be tied into braids(though these rules are being disobeyed by kids nowadays) still it's quite strict and we have to wear an awful blue synthetic shirt in the blazing heat(that literally is the same colour as the shirt of the guards) with a grey skirt/pant which looks horrible paired together so,yea.....

It feels so weird because year 11 felt like a year ago to me, but I'm now 20, at uni, thinking about my career and applying for proper jobs. In my mind, everyone I knew in my secondary school still looked like how they did in year 11 - but then I find them on social media and they look so grown up and different?!?! Like where's the time gone lol.

As a 21yo I feel so old watching this, y11 simultaneously feels like 1 year ago and 10 years ago. makes me wish I could redo secondary school now cos my mindset is so different and I would probably enjoy it more but I guess that's life, you always look back and realise times weren't as hard as they seemed.

People are always wearing hoodies over their uniform or don’t wear them at all, some even go as bold as wearing jeans, which I do all the time. the school is just a big mess. 🫠 But if my school had uniforms that looked like THAT, I would never break the dresscode rules again. 🤣

Currently going to uni (2nd year, civil engineering) and this just reminds of a simpler time. Don't get me wrong, uni is great, but secondary school was unmatched 😂. All I gotta say is, enjoy it while it lasts because you will look back and miss it, no matter how much you complain now. I'd do anything to go back to shenanigans 😂😂
for real, was talking to my flatmates about science lessons in highschool and how crazy they were. brought back so many memories and i’m so grateful that i had that experience.

And we start it at 16/17 depending on your birthday

sixth form is with secondary school and for 16-18 year olds (years 12-13 academically)
u do A-Levels, B-Tecs or T-levels and in year 13 you get to go universities that have accepted u

honestly as a year 11 who is leaving in two months id argue that year 7 8 and 9 are extremely fun because you can mess around in them, of course some of my best memories from secondary are in these years however year 11 may be the best school year I have had yet. Although you have to work teachers treat you a lot differently and the fun times in year 11 such as the snow day a few weeks ago will truly be one of my favourite school memories ever because of the sense that you could tell as it was coming up to the end of our school days people just didn't care about rules and threw snowballs at teachers including our headteacher. All I can say is cherish year 11 its great the only thing I regret is going into it having friendship problems as it means I wasted the first few months and didn't have the fun I could've had.

- don’t get yourself into unnecessary drama, trust me it’s not worth it
- make sure you do hw on time
- be nice to everyone
- do not stress about stuff too much as year 7 is just the starting year. i stressed so much for no reason
