I like how you give the protagonist a chance to explore without entities constantly breathing down his neck. Better videos like this one use less to create more suspense and a feeling of hopelessness. I don't like level meltdown endings and actually kind of hoped he'd find his way back. I love the level rendering and footage detail. Nicely done!
That really helps explain why the door-opening animations were so similar to one another and why the footstep sounds were so regular. And also why the protagonist kept warily peeking around corners like a reasonable person. Haha I've seen plenty of gameplay videos but this is the first time in my life I've watched one (and for over an hour!) without even realizing I was doing it.
Wasn't aware this was gameplay while watching. Explains some things I found weird, like the camera movement and how the MC said nothing at all throughout most of the video. Would have liked some monologue whenever they came across a dead-end or a path they already went through. Like frustration or them losing their cool for a bit and trying to reassure themselves. Would make the experience more realistic imo. Really cool backrooms content, regardless. Edit: That giant doll moment was perfect. Made my heart jump.
Yeah. It's the liminal feel and the dread of these places which is the actual horror. There is a new one called LIMINALCORE. Do check it out it's demo. It's a psychological horror backrooms and liminal spaces game.
The user moves like they are using a PlayStation controller. I suggest taking your time moving around. Remember, you are lost and scared and don’t know what’s around the next corner.
Throughout every moment of the video, except possibly the totally dark parts. I mean, look up the word "entity". (I know it's Backrooms jargon for "monster" though, but it really shouldn't be)
According to the videos I’ve seen, I’ve gathered that they are a combination of players that failed and fell victim to the back rooms. The fallen spectate through the entity’s mind unable to do anything or stop it. Just like those that fall endlessly in some depictions
It scarier without entities just the feeling of bieng lost is scary enough no unnecessary jumpscares just the original charm of the backrooms is enough
I would love to see Jason Voorhees in the backrooms and just Encounter a monster. Do a kane Hodder breathing and with one swipe with the Machete to hear the monster rore be cool. Or Freddie Kruger or Predator. Be cool
@@mustardtiger247 yeah just have Jason Rome around trying to find his victom kinda like in Jason X but have the part 7 costume with the Machete and take out some creatures like the latetues on Kane Pixel's video when the boy saw the creature in the room after being on the radio trying to reach someone that's when you need a Jason Voorhees.
I have dreams like this and there are people in them playing "hide and seek" and sometimes they are just sleeping while others running a prostitution ring.
I love the way you combined something that is not about the backrooms cuz it shows that anything could happen in the backrooms keep up the great work
Yeah it’s definitely some great work 💯💪🏼🔥 it deserves way more then 100K Views
Imagine being trapped in the back rooms and a large weird looking doll keeps following you 👀
Would probably rather that than that creature thing lol
This is still by far the best backrooms simulator IMO, the movement, cam filter and stage layout are realistic af.
I concur with this statement

The Complex: Expedition is a game.
This isn't an animation, it's a playthrough.

what game
Shee is the doll what part of the video?
I don’t understand why people insists on the backrooms having monsters or entities. The backroom complex itself is creepy enough

I think at best, entities in the backrooms should be limited to how they are presented in this game, subtle and passive, but watchful.
My worst nightmare in the backrooms being chased by entity while crawling
1:05:48 either a guy inba costume or a doll.

Where do they keep getting these guys to send into the backrooms if the ones who went before them either died horribly or just didn't come back?
Love it! keep up the good work brother

@MrKoski2024 I can't remember and have no idea why 2 people liked my comment. Maybe it was a bookmark, or maybe I just liked the liminal space
@MrKoski2024 I think it was a reminded for me to screenshot that part
That doll looks familiar to me...

The backrooms appeared in 10/17/1989 but this is before that which is extremely wrong 🤓
