60 quid for those shocks😮. An absolute steal Graham, even if they do start bottoming-out after a few years. Love the steady, progressive restoration work. That Kz will be a nice bit of kit by the time you're finished, with hopefully enough patina left, to remind admirers of its past.
@Grahamvfr it's just cold feet and fingers most of the time and I hope I'm still young enough I'll bounce if the worst happens. Your talk about tyres made me think again about what I'm going to put on mine next. I had Bridgestone S22's on my little 125 and been playing with the idea of putting thw new S23's on the vfr in spring, I know they are very soft and probably not last but I'd like to see what the big vfr can do with something very sticky.
@barnysgaming Well back in 2010 I was fortunate to witness Ron Haslam scraping the pegs on a vfr1200 around donnington, (track day )so it's very capable grip wise, but watch those pegs hahaha.
Picked mine up today Graham and im already loving it! Even though it was only 2° i had to do a ride. Can i ask what ball mount fits on the centre fork bolt? I've had a look, but a lot say specifically not for the VFR1200. Thanks.
@@samuelgillard2196 Really pleased to hear that, especially at 2 degrees. Sorry I can't help with the bolt question, as it was fitted by previous owner 😏

@@davidlutton4560 Yea not often your surprised by a low price these days but very happy.
Thanks for encouraging words David.👍
Never a dull moment. 🎉
@@StuartLaw-y5h Yep that's bike ownership 😊
I'm already waiting for some time that the roads become a bit dry so I can ride the VFR again.... Been too long...
@@hbor77 Yes hurry up Springtime 👍
I've been riding my VFR1200 all winter, Its a state right now and will needs a good clean. I'm always nervous with Honda's extra long keys.
@@barnysgaming Always admire a winter rider 👍.Yes they are thin!.

No problem, thanks for the reply anyway.
@@samuelgillard2196 it looks like the telferizer mount I had on my vfr before I sold it bob telfer makes a lot of mounts for a lot of bikes👍
