that it's an awesome amp and I think to many people fall back on old preconceptions about Bugera. BUT it's their loss, I would definitely see myself owning one.
I've got a Bugera 1990 that I just plugged in for the first time in 10 years. When I was a kid I remember being frustrated it wouldn't make a 'metal' enough sound, but with some help from your videos I was able to get a super punchy lead tone, reminiscent of marshall JCM (for obvious reasons). It's not a 6505 but looking back I'm actually really glad I bought it.
Fat Hitler Ive owned a fair few amps..Marshalls jcm900,mode4,jmp1,Sound Citys,Hiwatts,Line6,blackstar,Mesa..Had a Bugera 6262 and a 333XL..I love the thick creamy tones, the out and out metal and the Beautiful cleans, close second to this amp for me was the 333XL...Im currently running this amp through 2 Laney 4x12 Cabs...it is Making me happy on Many levels!!...
Now that its been fixed and sorted..i love it....i have to admit,i think i prefered the 333xl at this point for sheer brute sound...but versatilty is this amps key..you can dial in a tone for any particular style of music....im currently running two matiching 4x12 angled cabs..huge sound!!

The lead tone at 7:58, and the rhythm tone with the Maxon OD808 is exactly the kind of sound I want. I think this would be worth checking out for $800.

As usual dude impeccable and the cheap-rec has bags of clarity which my ears are very pleased to hear and they have retained the very obvious 'raw' and 'modern' characteristic voicings spot on as far as I can tell along with plenty powerful EQ. Been waiting to hear this one demo'd properly as I am torn between the less pricey 333XL and this, Closest friend has the 6262 and my DSL50 is in need of a more brutal friend (I had to sell quite abit awhile ago). Thank you Ola for all the great work dude
I jsut got a Tri Rec, I love it. and being a guy who cant let it sit, I replaced all Bugera 12AX7 Tubes with MESA tubes. It was really good stock but now its a frigging beast!
just played one recently through a mesa DR cab, and to me it sounds much better than the actual Mesa Rectifier. but even the one in the store had some weird ticks. for example, the varipower control needed like 5 minutes of playing time before it did anything, even when the amp was just in standby before and the tubes were warm already, and it took extremely long for the tubes to warm up (flicked it out of standby after 3-4 minutes warmup, and it made no sound. 2 mins after that it worked. my engl blackmore is up and running in a minute of warmup without causing damage to the tubes, the last set of power tubes lastet 3 years without fault before i changed them) i think bugera should make the amps cost like 200 bucks more, but spend that money on some better components, because sound wise it's one of the better amps i've played. tighter than a mesa DR, very nice shimmering top end, and very good dynamic response. that said, i've never come across a 333 or 6262 that had these weird issues. might be something with the trirec in particular. anyways, great sounding amp, but be cautious, and check if the one you're planning to buy does these weird things too.
+givemeajackson It does sound "slightly" better than a raw Dual Rectifier, but once you put an OD808 etc.. to boost the Recto the Trirec can't quite hold up tone-wise. I'd say that the unboosted Mesa is around Equal in overall tone to the Trirec, but with a boost the Mesa is at least 5-10% better sounding than the Trirec w/ boost. I'm kinda missing my old Dual Rec I sold, I like my ENGL Ironball but it just doesn't have the oomph of like the Fireball I was hoping it would have :(
I have one of these. I prefer it over my Peavey. Seriously, people need to stop bitching about Bugera. Don't be mad that you payed twice as much for an amp that isn't as good.
Bugera is good my dude, I have played a LOT with Bugera's 6262 and Peavey 6505. First one's got much more nuance, feel and punch in the tone as you set the drive knob up. Peavey's distortion straight 'good and heavy' but lacking range of dinamics overall. Really frustrates me because the 6262's is a straight COPY from Peavey, but with easily notable broader SOUND AND TONE with cheaper and fragile components (really). Stop with those 'Broke bar bands' talk because you think you are rich.
Bugera amps are one of the worst I have ever seen. They are just shit. You can't even compare with a real good amp like the Bogner Uberschall or the Triple Rectfier
Personally I prefer the gain structure on the 333xl but this is a damn fine sounding amp. I really think Ola and Keith Merrow are currently doing the most useful demo's out there! Keep up the great work! We appreciate it.
Bugera make such amazing amps , especially considering the price point , Ola you need to get your hands on a 1990 Infinium , closest thing to Dimes tone I've ever heard apart from a genuine Randall Warhead .
***** No just saying the diehards will bash it/them because PCB/budget orientated amps etc. There is a big difference obviously but that's where getting voicing/EQ just right etc you can still get some awesome sounds. Well yeah a lot of stuff I say probably does come off as being harsh/opinionated/subjective view even though that's really not intended.
+Baroch telma I bash Marshall and orange myself.... They both make shit amps. Wayyyyy too expensive for so little options. You're buying the name my friend:)
***** Problem comes in when people continue to bash the amps for reasons that Bugera has all but gotten over. People still bash Bugera for quality issues, except that the Infinium series has stepped the bar up EXTREMELY far.
***** I know it what the Infinium system fixed wasn't the only problem, but it was the one that occurred to most people. I'm pretty sure it was the main problem that a lot of people had - something in the tube system overheated and made a switch or something malfunction, so they fixed the main problem with the new system. The other problems are just general production quality problems that they appear to have stepped up their game on as well.
does not disappoint at all. comparing this to the tone of the mini rectifier (only because that was the only rectifier video where you did not boost it for the song as you did with this one) i actually like this a bit better. for this being about 2/5 of the price of a NEW rectifier i'd get this, especially with the 3 year warranty.
How are these Bugera amps a year down the road? Gotta a used music joint near my place, everyone of the Bugera's they have had - something heat related, wrong with them.
My Bugera 333xl is about a year old and no issues. I don't normally play it for more than 2 hours or at concert levels. Keep in mind I only have Bugera heads. On combos, heat is more of a problem than on the heads. I don't know if you can really trust the shops. I just know people tend to fall into 2 camps : people who have got a bugera and it died. And people who never had an issue with it. I fall into the second category but I am very gentle with my stuff, don't play out, etc.
What I like most about this amp other than the price is the fact you can mix your tubes. You can have both EL34's and 6L6's in it at the same time. Very cool
J'aime beaucoup l'approche en transparence avec la chaîne sonore, la photo des réglages, et le son passé sur différents micros, ou avec piste isolée. Super !
Ola, I must say I'm sooooo glad I heard THIS tri rec infinium demo, cuz i was about to buy one. the tone in the mix honestly sounded better than raw solo (second half of the video). soo hard to decide which sub-$1000 boutique to commit and invest in. not my cup of tizzea :/
There were QA issues with several models in the initial run of Bugera's. They seem to be corrected the in the infinium series. I Did 2-3 gigs a month with the Trirec infinium for a little over a year and had no problems. For that initial run, it did a lot of damage to Bugera's rep, though.
+HiImNate26 All I'm saying is I know 4 people with bugera's and they haven't had any problems, one of them has had his for7 or 8 years, the 1 guy I talked to whose did break, he was leaving the amp on for a day or 2 at a time and not letting the tubes warm up and he also forgot to bring a speaker cable with him when he went to a friend's house and used a regular guitar cable and fried the amp
I bough one brand new and used it maybe 5 or 6 hours and it started to smoke and fizzled out just within the return date. It sounded awesome and I wanted to keep it. But yeah, it self destructed.
This thing is packed full of features. That varipower is a smart addition because lets face it, you can't always rock out a 100 watt head and a 4x12 set to 11 when you have neighbours :) Thanks for yet another awesome video Ola.
Use your ears not brand name and price tags. Copy? Yeah. So what. Most amps are based on old Fender designs. The rest of the electronics is filtering and special circuits to allow for tweaks. Some designs alter electronics for tone stacks, etc... Yes, some amps are made with higher quality parts, and that can affect the over all tone. But, lower cost doesn't mean it's always crap tone. In fact, if you use your ears instead of other NON tone factors, then you buy what sounds good to you AND fits your budget. I'd never insult a Mesa buyer, or Bogner, Engl, or any high priced and high quality amp buyer, just as I wouldn't insult a buyer who bought an amp because it has had great tone AND it costs less. Just because you pay more doesn't mean you'll play better. Your "tone" may be good, but if you're playing sucks, then no amount of money on an amp will fix that. Spend more time playing and less dogging low cost amps that scare you because they do sound very good, and somehow you feel threatened cause you paid a lot more. :)
Apparently the Maxon OD808 is not widely used for added gain in metal..but the voicing of the pedal along with the volume and tone actually gives it a more tighter sound, added crisp in the crunch and more pick definition..This is when the pedal is used before ur amp or distortion pedal..Ive tried it and honestly its become a must..The Killswitch and Amon Amarth dudes use it as well as explained in some of their videos
Joshua Esparza the only thing that can is another bugera lol sound wise i preferred the 6262 infinium a little more and its cheaper but the bugera line is incredible if i was to get a second amp its the trirec for sure.
The only issue for me with the 5150 or 6505+ (found one for $600 I think on ebay) is that their clean channel isn't very clean compared to a 333xl which has a dedicated clean channel and apart from that the 333xl infinium with its 3-channel options I like that you can make it sound like anything you want.
Ola, if you read this, I would like to apologise on behalf of many of the commenter's here. With the exception of the usual youtube trolls, most of us are devoted loyal fans of your hard work going into your audio and visuals in your videos. Most negativity here is due to the fact that a lot of us have been waiting 3+ years for the Trirec release and a good representation of what it can do. We just wanted to hear it at it's best to see if it ended up living up to all the built up hype.
I've been a user of trirec for almost 2 years. The tube was broken in the month 6th of usage. Suddenly went dead on stage, only power light lit up without the standby light. Replace it with 4 JJ's 6L6 and it is as good as new until now. What do u expect from a cheap tube anyway? The absolute advantage of trirec is the FX loop feature. It's not always on/off like other amps, but it has a channel switch. The loop can be control for only on for a specific channel based on footswitch. The downside is, it's a cheap head compared to the dual recti counterpart. Of course they use different grade of parts and tubes. The original tubes are crappy. Also, when i replace the tubes, my friend put it on head to head comparison between trirec and a dual rect. Basically sounds typical, minor differences here and there. But bugera's sound start degrading after hours powered on, and the mesa is not. But what the heck, i guess i dont care. I only play for a 40 -60 mins gig. Im satisfied with a less than a $1000 amp. Still considering of buying 4 EL34 though, to mix and match with the 6L6
Michael Davies the older models get really hot. the infiniums do not. The trirec IS an infinium model and always has been, so you are absolutely correct. This guy is either trying to sell horseshit or he has defective infinium circuitry.
Oh I missed that, but yes honestly yes this amp is fantastic, and when he used that maxon, it sounded just like a triple rec should. This amp completely excels at what it was intended for.
I bought a 333XL brand new just put a set of JJ6L6's in it and never had a problem. Just bought a Trirec infinium and put a set of JJ6L6GC's in it and it's a fkn monster. insanely clear and broad clears/ nasty metal tones. It is a beast of an amp and the only people that should talk are those that own or want to own one. Anyone else is just assuming they know shit about shit which is really just taking up space in the comment section. I've owned Marshalls, Vetta HD, Mesa Dual rec and many others. This Bugera Trirec is my hands down favorite for blues-Modern nastiness. Just bad ass amps.
Triple rec simply implies that ac is rectified into dc 3 (4 counting the diode rectification) times to supply the power tubes with different amounts of voltage. While the mesa may be the most popular and well known amp that does this, it does not mean that any other amp that does it is not in fact the real thing.
I have an 333xl mate. It gives me the sound I want. other guitar on my band owns a 6505, we see no big differences in volume and definition. I think its a good amp.
+Michael Rigsby it seems like the people that have problems with bugera amps never switch the tubes out, do you think that switching the tubes has helped out with the life of your trirec?
I have a 6260 2x12 pre-Infinium Combo I bought from Musician's Friend as an "open box" for $250 back in 2015. It must have gotten returned because the gain pots were scratchy beyond usefulness but I liked the tone so I took it to my tech Todd Wolfgram at Dave's Guitar Shop and all it needed was a fresh #1 pre-amp tube. Bill was $50 and now that baby is right as rain. And it's loud. The new Bugera amps have all the bugs worked out now. Europe's #1 selling amp brand so I hear. Grab one! Hell. Grab 2.
Hell of an amp that's for damn sure. And now they are only $699 new which is friggin awesome Bugera Rocks !!! At these prices you can just buy the entire lineup over the course of a year or so with your lunch money.
Curiosity, to see how the Bugera stacks up. The 6260 was my first amp and I like it almost as much as my Triple Rec, so I'm just really curious as to how the Tri Rec compares, but I wouldn't really buy one, I'd just like to try one. The Vari power is a factor though, one thing I don't like about my Triple Rectifier is that it really really likes to be turned up. It isn't actually as good at low volumes as my 6260 is. The Egnater Vengeance, for the record is my favorite high gain amp that I own.
You are either assuming that I am a dwarf, or it would shear my foot off and I would wait and bleed out to die from dropping that amp from five feet? The vari-power, auto biasing and extra gain channel on the Trirec are actually all weighing factors that may make me choose the Trirec over the Satan if the Trirec can do similar in the gain department, which is why I wanted a comparison. If the Satan had an extra gain channel, or a crunch setting for the clean, it would win easy for me.
I'm not sure what was wrong with the Triple Rectifier you tried, but mine was the best amp in the shop when I bought it back in 2007, and still kills. I tried out several Marshalls, Peaveys, Blackstars, and Engls.
Hey brother, I very much appreciate all the gear u test out. U have helped me avoid huge poo poo buys. Keep going, shred, and laugh about the bad stuff. The fart pedal is the best. Ur friend, a broke ass american metal head
awesome. got mine brand new and tubes were cheap and broke like the first week I put some jj tubes in it and it crushes with no problems at all now... I will say the the foot switch could be a bit more resposive. other than that functions on the amp seem great!
I'm sorry, but I am not wrong. I own a rec and it is an overtly fizzy amp. That's common knowledge, and is the reason people generally avoid rectifiers for this genre of metal. I do love the amp, but it does sound fuzzy. I've had a huge amount of experience with rectifiers and it takes a great deal of time to make a rectifier not fuzzy.
I'ts great you added the SM57 guitar sounds alone and the gopro mic in your last videos. I think it's easier for us to really ear the amp tone. With this kind of videos, your have a great track by you, great guitar tones, many settings for the amp, great to watch, listen and to make an opinion about amps !
i was just saying that while i was reading your comment that this amp sounds better than the original mesa boogie rectifier. My opinion is based though what i've listened here on youtube. Bugera makes pretty nice amps for it's price!
Have one also. It has a quality that can’t be captured with vids like these. Gotta try it in person. Best to try the trirec before you purchasing a high priced name brand. Can do any style you wish, not just for high gain.
I've had my eye on the John Browne signature Reaper pandemonium overdrive pedal. its pretty much a djent pedal. ive been looking for an amp to pair it with that was high gain, and had at least 3 channels. Im wondering if the reaper matched with this would be over kill but I like the valve/diode selector and the wattage control option. seems ideal for studio recording. i would chain the pedal in with a noisegate and supressor probably. i really like that you addressed this amp with a similar mindset. its right on the verge but needs a tigther more compressed yet clear tone. i think.you brought that out with the pedal you chained in. thanks again ola. even from the past you are a great help in the present
Are you talking about where it says Silicone Diode in the video? If you are that is only referring to the rectifier circuit in the amp. Using the diodes gives a tighter feel to the amp, but doesn't really effect tone as no guitar signal goes through this part of the amp.
Everyone thinking this amp is too fuzzy or loose, that's because it sounds just like a triple rec does, unboosted...his triple rec demo and dual rec demos both had the maxon over them whereas this one does not.
honestly I find that Bugera amps sound pretty good and close to the original things...but I still remain skeptic about durability...and I think they are very hard to re-sell one day. But if I'd have a Bugera in a reharsal room or at a gig by the backline I would use them without any problem.
It's only a better choice if you're dead set on a brand new purchase. I'd argue that one could get great tone from a used amp from the brands I listed earlier for much less. That buys you breathing room for pup, speaker, cab, and other equipment upgrades - all of which contribute to one's unique tone. If money were no issue, then by all means folks should drop the coin on a sweet amp such as the DV Mark - though I'd personally snag a Morgan 30/800.
For that kind of cash you could snag up a used peavey ultra 112 or even a 40 watt peavey xxx which are flexible enough to do bedroom level and gig level. The Ultra's are starting to go up in price though, so hop on it quick if you find that you like it, people rediscovered how badass they are.
that it's an awesome amp and I think to many people fall back on old preconceptions about Bugera. BUT it's their loss, I would definitely see myself owning one.

Would you say this is better than a GK 250ML?
Man i need at least a weekly dose of this demo...
It seriously gives me some chickenlegs!
Can we hope for a revisit of this amp?
This amp actually sounds amazing!
cheers buddy, glad someone appreciates my music :D
@@OlaEnglund of course, you’re my hero man!

Marcus Rose I know this is a old post but does the 333xl do metal good
Seth Ride the 333XL is amazing for metal
I would definitely try one of these if I ever play live again. As for reliability, 20 years ago I had a marshall that blew tubes like crazy, even amongst the best there are lemons.
All I have to say is that when searching for certain music how to and review videos you pop up quite a bit. Rock on dude love it!
I got an artist deal with Bugera back in 2009, I still have my 333XL and love it. it has had no problems...I would love to try the Trirec...
Have you gotten one yet? its a beast
Definitely the best Ola track I've heard so far

yep..lol
nice choice bruuhhh
eventhough i'm just playing it on my friend house...
i better buy TriRec than Triple Recto (just my own opinion)
樋村信字 Im not a big triple recto fan tbh, I much prefer the Dual Rec, the triple sounds a bit to muddy to me.
Blake Mullens
yeap true it's bit muddy but i love those type of amp hahaha

Zillogism
the lowest i usually go is drop c, anything lower just ruins the clarity unless you have super bright strings or super bright pickups
Zillogism Everything I said was meant to be a compliment btw
DeanGuitarsForLife! nah, just back up the gain and the bass when tuning low. meshuggah's destroy erase improve tone is best exemple for that.

Jimmy Dore is sad to inform you that Matt Damon could not make it tonight.

I'm kinda missing my old Dual Rec I sold, I like my ENGL Ironball but it just doesn't have the oomph of like the Fireball I was hoping it would have :(
Even though I watch these videos to check out the gear, I always end up bobbing my head to the music. Good work Ola!
I have one of these. I prefer it over my Peavey. Seriously, people need to stop bitching about Bugera. Don't be mad that you payed twice as much for an amp that isn't as good.
@KC Why do people assume "Made in China" = "Low Quality"? It is simply not true.
@KC lol...always a know it all that cant find his own ass with radar...if he likes it thats all that matters......to each his own doofy
@KC i know you have chinese parts in ur junk...the 6505s are made where,,,,in china... so ur junk was made in china as well....lmmao...
Do you own one? If so could you please upload the dime tone to TH-cam?
Rouwiinator God yes please
this video is the best birthday gift ever, thanks ola!
This amp sounds fucking great! Tight, with lots of clarity.
ola i think this is my favourite amp youve played. tone is just huge and not too tight
not everyone has a camera with a movable screen. And yes, I do check my hair at least every 5 seconds.
Just a word, I think the Trirec sounds great and I really love that song!! Thanks Ola!!
this "fancy halfgay song" is my favorite song from Refeared album!:3
+ToxicTV Same here hahaha
If I ever come across a dual and a triple at the same time I would definitely do that.
Trirec is pretty Sick...same with 1990/333xl/6262 etc...The Bugera's are pretty Killer..but People still Bash them...
***** You can make it "Metal" enough believe me even though not exactly intended with some haha
Sounds freaking great !! :D
it's available on itunes just search for Feared
How are these Bugera amps a year down the road? Gotta a used music joint near my place, everyone of the Bugera's they have had - something heat related, wrong with them.
***** My Bugera is almost 7 years old and i never had i breakdown or anything wrong with it..
I fall into the second category but I am very gentle with my stuff, don't play out, etc.
my 333xl infinium has over 2 year and not a single issue so far, works as day 1. Usage average 2 hours / day.
April 2014, bugera 333xl infinium, still going no issues.
Jan 2015, bugera 6262 infinium, has popped a valve once, still going.
My trirec is still kicking ass and taking names brother.. great amps
What I like most about this amp other than the price is the fact you can mix your tubes. You can have both EL34's and 6L6's in it at the same time. Very cool
best amp ever, and i own some expensive shit that sounds no where as good as the trirec. Owyea and this is a pure chugging monster.
J'aime beaucoup l'approche en transparence avec la chaîne sonore, la photo des réglages, et le son passé sur différents micros, ou avec piste isolée. Super !
Ola, I must say I'm sooooo glad I heard THIS tri rec infinium demo, cuz i was about to buy one. the tone in the mix honestly sounded better than raw solo (second half of the video). soo hard to decide which sub-$1000 boutique to commit and invest in. not my cup of tizzea :/
dawg lmi what you decide cuz I'm between one of these and a carvin v3
go with bugera, mate.
word!
i appreciate the quick reply!
take it easy man
There have been some quality issues with the trirec. Do your research before you buy. Just saying. Peavey 6505+ 120 head maybe..?
There were QA issues with several models in the initial run of Bugera's. They seem to be corrected the in the infinium series. I Did 2-3 gigs a month with the Trirec infinium for a little over a year and had no problems. For that initial run, it did a lot of damage to Bugera's rep, though.
I love how ppl still talk crap about Bugera. The infinium series is awesome, and something that will keep your tubes maximized!
Ramses:the drums don't sound shit . That's how he/we want them to sound I think you're in the wrong genre/place. ..
AND THIS IS HOW TO REVIEW AN AMP.
Excellent, thank you man.
Burgeas sound awesome... when they actually work.
EVERY1 I KNOW WITH ONE HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS, I THINK ITS JUST IDIOTS NOW KNOWING HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEM
it's pretty hard to take care of an amp when it bursts into flames spontaneously.
I've had more problems with marshalls
No fucking way this is Beringher!
+frankpaws Bugera...not Behringer...
Which is made by Behringer
facepalm
Agreed! Distro was a short run.
I'm honestly convinced you can't beat the Bugera Trirec when it comes to price and quality sound these things sound amazing for the price
Joshua Esparza the only thing that can is another bugera lol sound wise i preferred the 6262 infinium a little more and its cheaper but the bugera line is incredible if i was to get a second amp its the trirec for sure.
Ola you crack me up . Love your videos. Cheers from the US.
We just wanted to hear it at it's best to see if it ended up living up to all the built up hype.
i've been waiting for this for so long!
after two years waitings...thanks Ola!!
Excellent review, great playing, unbelievable amp, and outstanding song!
Oh I missed that, but yes honestly yes this amp is fantastic, and when he used that maxon, it sounded just like a triple rec should. This amp completely excels at what it was intended for.
Bugera=awesomeness
This sounds amazing. I have a 333xl Infinium head, just fantastic stuff. Can't fault it. Great demo.!
I think its a good amp.
for the price it has a large dynamic range and they seem to be versatile on what tubes you use/have.
The XXX is extremely versatile too. You can get that really abrasive Exodus sound and good rock crunch and cleans.
it's still rockin 7 mths. later, maybe it's a good one.the Bugera tubes were replaced with elctro/harmonix as soon as i got it.
Grab one! Hell. Grab 2.
Last year I bought one, slightly used, for 350€... I LOVE IT 🤘
Hell of an amp that's for damn sure. And now they are only $699 new which is friggin awesome Bugera Rocks !!! At these prices you can just buy the entire lineup over the course of a year or so with your lunch money.
Awesome sound!!!
My favourite ola song.
Keith, you are my hero.
Awesome playing and tone as always but I REALLY love this song man! Probably my favorite from all your videos! Keep it up man!
I honestly am very surprised by the lead tone you got out of this amp. Probably my favorite of all your videos.
You are either assuming that I am a dwarf, or it would shear my foot off and I would wait and bleed out to die from dropping that amp from five feet?
The vari-power, auto biasing and extra gain channel on the Trirec are actually all weighing factors that may make me choose the Trirec over the Satan if the
Trirec can do similar in the gain department, which is why I wanted a comparison. If the Satan had an extra gain channel, or a crunch setting for the clean, it would win easy for me.
Ola Englund = Viking with an axe.
Love your videos! Very useful!!!!!
Dude everyone appreciates your music ;-)
awesome. got mine brand new and tubes were cheap and broke like the first week I put some jj tubes in it and it crushes with no problems at all now... I will say the the foot switch could be a bit more resposive. other than that functions on the amp seem great!
Great tone! Respect from Bulgaria!
Just Bought Refeared and rejects!! TY For your musik im glad i found u and your band and i wish u guys tha best :)
i was just saying that while i was reading your comment that this amp sounds better than the original mesa boogie rectifier. My opinion is based though what i've listened here on youtube. Bugera makes pretty nice amps for it's price!
this sounds tight and loose at the same time. awesome
yep, good cleans and cool brootal tones.
I have the Marshall Cab, and I'm picking one of these up in the next few months, I also wish to hear this comparison lol
Music is ridiculously good definitely buying this.
albums, not the amp, i'm not that easily convinced.
Are you talking about where it says Silicone Diode in the video? If you are that is only referring to the rectifier circuit in the amp. Using the diodes gives a tighter feel to the amp, but doesn't really effect tone as no guitar signal goes through this part of the amp.
Holy fuck, this tone gives me shivers....
btw, the bugera 333XL is the bugera version of the peavey 3120.
I have a 333xl, and it sounds great through an old 5150 cab. I'd recommend picking up a used 5150 4x12
I could have watched this for an hour. Ola are you keeping this beast?
For that kind of cash you could snag up a used peavey ultra 112 or even a 40 watt peavey xxx which are flexible enough to do bedroom level and gig level. The Ultra's are starting to go up in price though, so hop on it quick if you find that you like it, people rediscovered how badass they are.
