As someone who loves the whole Throne of Glass series.. i agree with you. The beginning of the series is kind of a drag and it did not entice me at all and honestly is frustrating. Especially Celena being so "cool" and "talented" when atp it doesn't really make sense.. however the second half of the series TOTALLY made up for it. Like it gets IMMENSELY better (obviously just my opinon, its fine if people disagree / don't like it) I actually hated a lot of the characters in the first half of the series, but after reading the whole thing they are now some of my most favorite characters.. but obviously the series is huge and a big undertaking.. so good luck if you do start reading the others! Also I love papers, please!! such a fun game!! the sound design is very satisfying to my brain.. lol
omg I really appreciate this thank you 🙏 I genuinely felt no proper connection to any of the characters and Celaena was a bit annoying but you’ve convinced me to keep reading LOL I think this series is gonna be one of those I pick up when I get motivation to here and there and ikr!! the citation noise is a jumpscare tho🤣 🧍🏻♀️
