Thanks so much! We still have a long way to go here before it will be ready to sell and who knows, when we are finished we could decide to stay! There is no rush to leave, it's just something we keep in mind as young people creating equity.
@8:29 I know young couples have always worked themselves up the ladder as far as real estate goes but watching you both renovate this property, envisioned you guys staying there and raising a family(If you had children.) because that’s the kind of house and backyard that I think is so beautiful because of all the work you’ve done. It’s just my friendly opinion. The deck, the pool and the backyard is sooo beautiful and it was always the kind of place I wanted. Again, you guys have done a beautiful job in your renovation!!😍

My clothes would only fit a quarter of your walkin. I hope whomever uses your shower is skinny because that shower is narrow...that's coming from a big lady😉 Your hubby did well on the toilet. He should be proud👌
You said you wanted to make all inclusive house. But a door to a bathroom is supposed to open outwards. So if a person fell inside a bathroom, he wouldn't block the door and it is possible to get help.
We are making it as inclusive as possible but it also has to maintain practicality. If the door swings outward into the hallway it blocks the hallway. In most homes the bathroom doors swing in and given the location of this bathroom off a stairwell and hallway, it makes the most sense to swing inward. In order to make it completely accessible there are other indicators in the AODA we’d have to meet to do so which this space is simply not big enough to do. It is not an entirely barrier-free home, and we can’t change the overall footprint to make it such but we can keep design elements in mind so varying abilities can enjoy it as much as possible
