Wasserfälle haben einfach was Magisches, herrliche Bilder mal wieder, Christian!
Hi Trish, thank you so much, I really appreciate 🙂 Yes, that place is amazing and there had been even more waterfalls. But as it started to rain hard, I decided to return to my van, to keep my shoes dry for my final adventure just 2 days later 😉 Enjoy your Sunday, Christian
Hi Darren, thank you so much, buddy! Yes, I could imagine that these waterfalls would look amazing when they are frozen. I'm just not sure if they are accessible, as it was quite steep up there. Definitely a hike of some hours with snow shoes 🙂 Enjoy your Sunday, Christian
Thanks a lot, Dave. That means a lot 🙂 I didn't plan to go to that place, originally. It was just a little intermezzo as I was waiting for the perfect light for my final adventure, which will be revealed in my next video 😉 Nice greetings, Christian
Great job on the video Christian and loved the waterfall shots. My favorite shot was at 7:40 I just thought the lighting and composition was spot on. That location just keeps on giving. Thanks for sharing the adventure buddy 👍🙏
Hi Adrian, thank you so much, buddy! Oh yes, that place has a lot to offer. There had been even more waterfalls, but as it started hard to rain I decided to return to my van to keep my shows dry for my final big adventure 2 days later 🙂 Have a great Sunday, Christian
Wow those waterfalls look so good. I realy liked the first shot of the bigger waterfall. Feels a bit mysterious in that sort of canyon like structure around it. As always a great video. Grt guido
Hi Guido, thanks a lot, my friend! I guess, you mean that one with the lines back to the vanishing point. Yes, definitely. Looks a bit like in a canyon 🙂 Absolutely lovely the structure of the rocks there in that area. There was one more waterfall inside a cave. Unfortunately, I didn't have wade trousers with me and the water level was quite high 😬 But we will see, maybe I will return there one day. Thanks a lot for watching and enjoy your Sunday, Christian
Hi Simone, thank you so much 😊 I think that spot is called "Torrente Boite" and you find it at the pass road between Fiames and Misurina. At my research I saw that there would go a shuttle bus up to the waterfalls, but that was not the case 😆 So be early enough there, it's a long and steep way up 😉 I hope this helps, otherwise feel free to write me a dm on Instagram. Enjoy photographing and nice greetings, Christian
Thanks for a great video. I wonder if some waterfalls are suitable as short panorama aspect ratio such as HB PAN 24x70 to enhance the dynamics adjusted for your APS-C pictures if you are not using the full format on your camera.
Hi Thomas, I usually always try to use the aspect ratio that adds most to the particular composition. With my 63MP sensor I can easily crop to get a panorama format if necessary, which is better for floating water than stitching exposures. There are always different possibilities. Pano formats had maybe also worked for some compositions. But we have to be careful with waterfalls here. As they tend to fall vertically a pano format could support to hide it in the image 🙂 But it depends on the landscape around it, of course. But however, interesting thoughts, my friend! Thanks a lot for watching and have a great Sunday, Christian
@@christian.irmler Thank you for the feedback. That is a problem I have with my equipment my best camera has Nikon D850 has 45Mpix for wildlife, the others has 12Mpix D700 used for panorama and 36Mpix D800E used for landscape, and If Nikon release a Z8x 60 Mix camera in the future I may get it or get a Fuji GFX 100s with norm and wide angle Zooms but I will keep my current equipment as it is. I need to upgrade my old computer first so I can handle the file sizes.

Stunning waterfalls, my friend I really liked your exposure time. If you kept the detail brilliantly, I wonder what they would look like in the winter

Schöne Bilder. Was machst du eigentlich mit den Bildern? Ausstellungen? Verkauf? Oder für die eigenen Wände?
