It was great hearing all Three of your views on this. Many of these things, as you can probably imagine, are things that I am looking at right now. So, having some of it brought up and discussed was very helpful. Thanks, as always!
I was a manager of over 30 employees for over 20 years and I am impressed with your thoughts and talking points, Some of those things took me years to learn. One other important thing to learn is generational management. What works for a 50 or 60 year old will not work with a 20 or 30 year old. Great video guys.
Thanks for watching Steve! We definitely have learned that the generational differences between employees in our store and us has definitely been a challenging thing to learn to deal with.
I really enjoyed the episode, thank you so much for you content. As a small german bricklink seller (around 500 orders per year) I am looking at my business more in a fun way to do something different from my normal job (system engineer) than to scale/grow. For me it is a hobby and (hopefully) always will be because I just want counterpart to my normal dayjob. I like the variety each job comes with.
We're so glad you like it! Unfortunately I don't know if weekly will ever become a possibility. There is a lot that goes into each of these videos and it does not pay for itself. So we're probably still sticking to every other week for a while. But its still better than once a month! lol. Thanks for watching and following along Minifig Man!
I would be interested in hearing the difference between piece selling and set selling. I have been reselling LEGO sets for a little over a year. For my used sets, I am trying to decide if I should piece them out or sell them as sets - and if you have to have a certain amount of piece inventory to make it worthwhile to even start down that road.
