#middlegrademarch has its own channel so check out ‪@MiddleGradeMarch‬
The Irish Readathon is hosted by ‪@wordsofclover‬ with ‪@LeanneRose‬ and ‪@lisainbookland‬
Another booktuber I must mention is Jim at ‪@jimsbooksreadingandstuff‬ who recommended The Eighth Life to me. Thanks Jim, it was utterly amazing.
    Books mentioned this week:
The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde
The Problem at the Picnic by Courtney McFarlin
A Girl Called Justice by Elly Griffiths
The Eighth Life by Nino Haratischvili

Hi Debs! Thanks for this terrific wrap-up. I love The Canterville Ghost! A colleague of mine, when I was still teaching, produced a play version of it with our students. It was a riot! Great find-250 free books! 😊

And I just posted my weekly wrap-up, and I have a very similar reaction to a cat-related cozy mystery that I just read too! 😅

I’ve just watched your wrap up and it was fab. Love your channel Pat. I couldn’t believe that those 250 books were free! What a bargain. I’ve decided maybe cosy cat mysteries aren’t for me. I shall try other cozy mysteries for size. Ones minus cats 😂.

Hi, Debs! Thanks for the weekly wrap up. I’m new to your channel and love your personal, informal, chatty, authentic vibe. I am delighted to listen to an older BookTuber, and value your opinions more so because of your experience.
I didn’t realize Elly Griffith was a pen name! I love her Harbinder Kaur series. Nor did I realize Oscar Wilde wrote Canterbury Ghost-I’ll be reading that short story soon!
    Looking foreword to watching more.

Oh thank you Kimberley Rose. That’s so nice of you. Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. Older but not necessarily wiser 😂😂. I’m really glad you stopped by 😊

I, too, am an avid cat lady and that precis you gave of the book probably isn't for me. But your description of when the cat answered the phone.😅I already have enough mysteries with cats at the center of them: I'm always wondering how much kibble can disappear so quickly. I have a list of suspects. Wonderful reading week, Debs!

Had a great week thanks John 😊. I love Japanese cat books but this was really not for me 😂😂

I'm glad you've had a good week (cat cosy notwithstanding). I have recently got into audio books but find them best for rereading because of concentration issues. You'll get a fair few done on your journey. My first MGM book finished was War Horse by Michael Morpurgo. Loved it.

Oh I loved War Horse too. I like the way Michael Morpurgo is so honest with kids in his stories. I’ll be reading Shadow by him this week. It’s about Afghanistan 😊

I'm glad you loved The Eighth Life, Debs. I am 200 pages in now, there are some great characters and some monstrous characters, too like Beria (the little big man).

Oh Jim I thought it was brilliant. One of the best books I have read for a very long time. Thank you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did

I've heard of dogs alerting people to their owners being in trouble, but we all know cats would hang up if they could 😂The Eight Life sounds great.

Haha. So true. My cat tolerates me but wouldn’t save me from a house fire 😂. The Eighth Life really was brilliant. Thanks for stopping by 😊

I read The Curse of the Artic Star (Nancy Drew Diaries). A modern Nancy Drew series. It fit both Middle Grade March and March Mystery Madness. It was cute and I enjoyed it. I read the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries when I was young. The cat mystery book didn’t sound that great (and I love cats too). I am going to have check out A Girl Called Justice.

I havent read any oscar wilde, Dorian Gray is supposed to be decent. Your hippo ornament is adorable and I hope you have great visits with Mason, will you read to him ? Carol

Thank you Carol 😊. And thanks so much for stopping by. I’ve been reading to Mason until I’m hoarse 😂😂😂. There’s a book called Ten Little Dinosaurs that involves a lot of roaring lol. I’m glad your health is improving and you’re able to start reading again 😊

That is the thing with cozy mysteries, they are Amateur slueths so people who are not suppose to be investigating, doing the sluething and getting the cops mad at them...lol. I think you just read the wrong type of cozy as there are a lot of different types...lol. I like my gritty ones to but like cozies just for fluff reading. :)
That Elly Griffith Middle Grade sounds cool but can't find it on libby, bummer. I am hoping to try the first Ruth Galloway this month if time permits. :)
    Hope next week is awesome!

Ahh. That makes more sense now. I didn’t realise that’s the definition of a cosy mystery. So the book I am listening too in the car would count. And I’m really enjoying that one 😊. Have a fun reading week

@@RaynorReadsStuff Yay with Cozies you have to find your flavor so to speak lol. Lots of different varieties. 😀
