You caught it right. Toumas played everything on the first Wolfheart album except for the guitar solos. He's an exceedingly prolific musician and songwriter. I've seen Wolfheart live twice (would have been three times had COVID not happened), and they are an amazing band.
This song has a special place in my heart. I wanted to write a fantasy story for over 15 years. In the beginning 2016 I started collecting ideas. In mid 2018 I had my plots ready for more than one book. I hesitated to start writing until July 27th, 2018. I listened to a little music before going to bed. This song came and BOOM - I saw the beginning of my story like a movie. The next day I started writing and I wrote down over 4000 words in one sitting. Today I'm in book three (to this point almost 350.000 words on over 1300 pages altogether). Maybe one day I'll bring up the courage to look for a publisher - or maybe wolfheart has to make a new song that gets me going once again :o).
