In my opinion, first learn a oop based language eg python, java. Learn data structures and algorithms basics eg linked list, array, sorting algorithms, binary tree , graphs not in deep. Then learn a framework like django for python, spring for java and make a project and it will be good if it uses database. Or learn any latest technology used in company. Then apply in internship or in small companies if u are already graduated or prepare well for campus placement. Don't look for money if u are graduated, just take 1-2 year good experience and if going in campus selection then salary is fixed so just concentrate on skills for initial years.

Exactly. This is the cost if someone loves to live freely... but if someone with more prioritise to saving can survive with 10-12k.
