For anyone wondering, The Aim9L and Python 3 have the same flare resistance, but if you’re wondering why you’re 9L isn’t ignoring flares rear aspect like the Python is as shown in the video, it’s because the 9L has way worse acceleration than the Python. Related to that, Gaijjn implemented a system a few months ago called “Rise Time” basically flares aren’t as hot as possible when you press your flare key. With the 9L being slower and slower to accelerate, the flares have much more time to heat up. The Python accelerates so quickly and it gets so fast, that when you’re popping flares, they’re not as hot as your afterburner, so it WILL keep tracking 99% of the time. However an easy way to counter this is to cut your afterburner and flaring it is easy
well I think the real reason for it feeling more flare resistant is because the python doesn’t have to lead as far, making it go more directly to the plane vs trailing behind, and when the missile is at like a 30 degree angle to the exhaust, the flares don’t sit in the seeker as long while the seeker still as a good view of the exhaust.

And it shoot to the rear. If that rear is using afterburner, it is hoter then flare. So it is going to ignore that flare. Another one is 9L got more burntime then python so it got more range.
@@puwaGT the 9L actually doesn’t have hardly any better range, because the Python gets faster, they have very similar range. It’s like the R27ER and Aim7M, the M burns for longer, but the ER gets so much faster that it has similar range and they both get there before the American missile
@@batlax18 the burn time is the thing you need to look for rang. Yes python is faster but in shot rang. It only can shoot 1-2 km chasing the plane with 900km/h almost mach 1. But 9L is yes slower but the burn time got good chasing. It is can scare people to make them turn to make them slower. 9L can chasing the plane around 2-3km before burnout

Hard disagree on the Netz. Sure it doesn't have the Sparrows, but it makes up for it by having the Pythons. Plus the better FM, it is on par if not better than the MLU or ADF. Also, C is atrocious stock-grind. But ig that's not being factored in.
Exactly! Who would want 2 mediocre at best radar missile and 4 9Ls over 6 40G, fastest accelerating, fastest in general dogfight IR missile?! On the best F16 FM, and arguably the best FM in the game too
I would say the MLU is better because it gets extra countermeasures which is a necessity for top tier today.
@@nymeric5833 lol the Netz _should_ have 180 CMs, but Gaijins to good for that I guess, but even then, the Netz is still better, you just have to be conservative of them
@@nymeric5833 nah, Netz hardly runs out of CM. If its an issue I'd leave out Chaff and hug the ground all game. The FM is just too damn strong compared to later block F16s.

Alright Trep so basically at 11:08, (I've had this problem in the F4S), when you turn after locking and firing a radar missle and you do like a manuever like that, your radar gets confused, espicially if you a had a direct radar lock.

Idk about putting the Barak above the Netz, honestly radar missiles really aren't that great at top tier rn and I would far rather have the 2 extra IR missiles, cuz if ur opponent is hugging the deck, well then your screwed.
just having 200 flares elevates it for me. So many aim9m and r73 in the matchmaker that being able to just spam flares to beat them without worrying about running out is huge.

I will put barak and netz as the same tier an A. Because netz gor more performance after update. Python still the best IR even no IRCCM. Also that's why it is 12.3 not 12.0
For barak, it is heavier than netz and C. Not a good performance but got of load out good missiles 9m. Rader missiles is ok but today chaff is working now so it is pointless to mention it. That's why i put them bolt in the same tire. C is S for good performance and good loadout. All another is B. And A is C

IN MY OPINOIN, the F-16AJ is the best dog fighter at top tier, at least for me, I have mastered that thing and it is my favorite plane to fly, it’s so quick with its turning and its load out is amazing, I agree with the S tier

Fr bro, I feel like Pythons work better the 9Ms, I get more kills using Pythons on the Baz than the 9Ms, and I have way more kills in the Netz than the Barak

@@Leon-zt9pdI prefer the Baz, Pythons are definitely better than 9Ms in a lot of situations, it’s debatable wether the F15J is better or the Baz, but the American one is worse than both, just because it doesn’t have any other missile options than the 9M or 9L
@@batlax18 9m is better in most situations because it doesn't get destroyed by the clusterfuck of flares that is top tier whereas the python is easy to flare. Also im pretty sure the baz is slightly heaveir than the f15a. And yes the F15J is better than the baz
