All we can do is cherish the memories of their time on spaceship Earth with us.. and use that as an inspiration to help guide our own lives, thoughts and creativity 💞
My dad is moving to a smaller house, I picked up all the photo books and I'm in the process of scanning too. My mom passed away in 2019, I very much recognize what you say, about seeing your parents young and vibrant, oblivious of what was to come.
Yeah, I feel like I'm not oblivious to what's coming, like they probably weren't either. I know it will all end, and it will all go downhill... but I don't know how or when. So - I try to be thankful for where I'm at, although it's very uncomfortable most of the time (don't know if we'll be able to survive with financial issues, etc). But I do try to do my best for the kids, as I'm sure you do too. Scanning in photos sucks. It's taken me about a year and I only have about 2000 photos scanned in. Sorry to hear about your mom passing away :/ I'm sorry man. Hopefully you get a lot more time with your dad - I lost mine in 2010 and just never got to connect with him like I wish I had. I did get about 6 months talking to my mom every day, it was worth every second and really wish it had been that way for years. How I wasted so much time that could have been spent talking with her.
@@MIDERA My mom suffered from esophageal cancer for two years, especially the last weeks before she died she was really suffering. She decided herself it was time to go and had the GP euthanize here while my dad, my sister and me and my family were with her. It's okay, I took those two years of her illness to make sure I'd find peace after she'd left. My dad found a new love. She the same age as my dad and has two daughters slightly older than I am. We call eachother 'bonus family'. My dad's always been very strong, but now at 85 his health is declining too. We're not the kind of family to have long phone conversations or see eachother every weekend, but that's okay.
Awesome!!❤❤❤❤❤
Love your music ✨🍂

Indeed! That's how I am trying to live my life. Thanks :)
❤❤I woke up me this morning with your music, thanks .
Thanks!
This piece is beautiful and soothing, with just the right depth /flavor of melancholy.
It is raw,but that adds to it vs detracts from it
Thanks :)

...maybe there's still hope... ..somewhere..
Yeah, I think there is. I feel that way towards my kids. They are my hope.
It would have been my dad's 80th birthday on the 14th
