Every day I listen to one podcast of yours , I am really grateful for every word that I learned and how I can use it in a real context, greetings from Colombia
Hi! Wonderful lesson! I’m an English teacher and I love listening to your lessons. I always learn something new and interesting. You’re really great teachers! I’d like to be able to teach my own language as you do
Another great video from your channel your idea of presenting both American and British versions of the same phenomenon is absolutely unique. Always looking forward to your new videos, please, don't stop 🙏
Hi, Kat and Mark. I like your podcasts. This one was very informative and interesting. And I'v even tried to cook Kat's recipe. It was fine. Next time, I'll try Mark's British Sunday roast. I'm waiting for future meetings.
Hi, I couldn't help making my mouth water hearing your recipes. Home made source is the best one. We pronunce Oregano like Mr. Mark thank you very much and wish you all the best you both dear.
I definitely enjoyed the lesson, learned a lot from Kat and Mark, and got so hungly, I had to get up in the middle of the lesson to grab something to eat! On fridays, I enjoy preparing pasta, very similar to Kat's recipe, I add some butter when I prepare the sauce , and the flavor is delicious. I use cero gluten pasta, and I enrich with some canned salmon which I simmer with everything else. I God, I´m getting hungry again! Thanks and blessings.
Thanks for the video. It's wonderful. I really love cooking. Please teachers if you can I suggest a video on school vocabulary like classroom instructions, the names of the different parts in the school, names of the different positions...etc
First of all thank you for your adorable lessons vedios..it really helpful for me which enhance the language learning...am a great well wisher of you..could you pls upload a vedio about classroom talks which helping to teachers
Where I can visit your restaurant? I would like to taste pasta and Sunday roast! Thank you so much for this video. It is better to watch it being full:)
Haha a restaurant with pasta dishes and an English Sunday roast would probably have quite a big menu, but actually maybe some pubs in the UK might have both!
Hi both teacher, your talk is very informative on how to cook pasta and meat , as i'll difinitely cook everything this weekend and while listening to you i had to order a pizza.Thank you very much
Hello, I subscribed to your channel about a month ago, and since then, I've been watching one video almost every day. I've finished the first season and now I'm watching the second one. I absolutely love it, and it has been incredibly helpful for me. I just wanted to thank you and ask if it would be possible for you to prepare a new season focused on IELTS listening and speaking ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for your lovely message and for watching so many of our videos! We're so glad we've been a part of your English learning journey! 🙌 Episode 25 is actually the last episode of season 2, but we will be back with Season 3 at the end of October!
hi teachers thank you for this useful video ,I hope to see a video about banks the same format and style ''how to talk with your doctor'' about getting information on accounts or sending money it will complete the topic of talking about money
I'll be using the translation keyboard for this comment. Well, Mark said "It doesn't matter how long it takes for the beef to be cooked". In 3 hours of waiting I would be starving.😅😂. The way Kat reacted in the 30 minutes of class was definitely the best 😅🤢. I should definitely watch this class again, there are a lot of words I don't know yet. I love " Sunday roast". See you next time, teachers.
Haha it's okay if you have some snacks while you are waiting for the Sunday roast to finish, although after 3 hours of waiting it will taste even better! What kind of food do you like to cook?
@@highlevellistening Definitely 😅. I like to cook everything, but the dish I make most often is Lasagna and feijoada ( typical Brazilian food). I love eating them as much as cooking them.
here in the southern Brazil, we have a recipe that is called "carreteiro". we make a tomato sauce with diced meat... them we put the rice into the sauce to cook rice with the sauce... its very good!! Sorry my mistakes!!
So useful and interesting! It has some unknown expressions and unfamiliar veggies names for my brain to process though. And I found it quite interesting that British way of pronouncing words is weirdly similar to that of Korean's. By the way, I have two questions for Kat teacher. When you said 'boiler' (water is boiling on one boiler while the sauce is on another boiler), what does it mean? I only know a boiler as a thing to heat up the water for different use. Another question is, Is there any difference between 'save time' and 'save on time'?
Good questions! There's no difference in meaning between "save time" and "save on time". You can use either one in the same structure. A "boiler" is another word for a "stove top" or a "gas ring" or "a cooker". It's the little circle with a flame that can boil water or be used for frying things. It's a little less common, but some people still use it. Hope that makes sense!'
Save on time/ saute/ smother / go to recipe/thyme I am not really a cooking guru 😂so, I won't try to write a recipe, from your recipes I would try kat's one as long as I don't eat beef:) But I like the idea of a Sunday roast .it would be nice to make some special meal every Sunday ,and get together with family members or maybe relatives.
Well done picking out some useful vocabulary 👍 I agree that Kat's recipe sounds lovely. And yes a Sunday roast is a great way to meet up and catch up with family members every weekend
