dunno if anyone cares but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf during the lockdown :)
One of my favorite Fire Emblem games! I have all three versions (which I luckily downloaded onto Birthright BEFORE the 3DS eShop closed), and am about halfway through each route.
Should I get birthright or conquest? Awakening was my first FE game but I played it on hard classic. And should I continue to play hard classic on Fates?
How long does it take to get to chapter 6 to get dlc in conquest ? Because I think in Awakening you also need to get to chapter 6 to get the dlc. Also do you have shadows of Valentia? I couldn't download the Dlc and I'm wondering about how long for the dlc for that game too. There's only 2 days til Eshop closes!!
damn, I want to get the special edition but if I find it, it'll probably be very expensive.. the japanese special edition costs more than a new 3ds on amazon. Also, I'm definitely getting the 3 versions, separately if I can't get the special one. Is there any difference if you buy revelations on birthright or conquest?
+GamingVlogNetwork Oh.. thanks but I live in mexico, this morning I saw units in existence in the gameplanet's website so I rushed there and they told me those were the preorder ones, I got angry because they shoul've said that in the site, but it even showed the prices online and in-store. Conquest was already sold out and I ended up buying the last Birthright, it's okay because that's the path I wanted more based on the trailers, I'm planning on buying conquest and revelation with the discount price, but I really wanted that artbook though.
I'm debating on revelation. I heard from all over its the best of the three but the reason I don't like the sound of it is it seems like it will take forever to get characters to join you. I don't want it to be like chapter 17 before Corrine's siblings join. Or do people join at a good rate?
@@musiciohann I think the latter is a better game but if you have both, both are solid games and are worth playing. However, if you can only buy one, I’d go with fates.
I've seen both paths, Hoshido has a better narrative in my opinion, but Nohr has more creative and interesting levels. If you choose Nohr be forewarned the game woln't pull any punches so you need to be ready for it if you buy that version of the game.
Serious question time, Are there any difficulty settings such as normal, hard, or expert in these games? Or is the difficulty locked? Unless I missed it I don't recall hearing about it.
I really wanna go Nohr but I've never played FE. The characters seem much more interesting and I like them a lot more, but I don't think I can handle the difficulty ;_;
There are just two things you should keep in mind to not get stuck. Don't let only your best fighters fight, also level your other fighters too and don't evolve your units before they reach level 20.
@@Luisgvn ok fist if you have to choose the nohrians or hosidio more pecifically the siblings what would it be? and I know you said it in the video but have things changed in the rankings of fates also do you think the story is good or bad?
He specified you get the discount if you buy the digital version you get the discount, do you not get the discount if you buy a physical copy of one game and download the second one digitally?
Nice video, as always ! I am so eager for this game, sadly, we don't know when it's coming out in europe... And, one last thing... Azura is waifu yes, in the conquest version, but I think Anna the Merchant is THE ultimate waifu. Anna is love, Anna is life.
Nice review! Thanks for talking about the story quality without spoiling anything. I wanna play all three storylines but no one's talked about Revelations much yet (presumably because no one could get ahold of a Special Edition copy, damn it Nintendo!). Sounds like going through all three stories will be worth it though! Would you say the story is better than Awakening? I honestly lost interest in that one because the story just didn't grab me, it was too generic.
been playing fire emblem for years and just got the 3ds, yes im late but i got fire emblem awakeing and now im looking at fates and im lost .... so if i just get the spacial edition i can get all 3 paths ? with no extra buying
Yeah, the special edition has all three paths on one cartridge, but the price is basically the same if you just download the other ones to either birthright or conquest. Special edition is difficult to find though, and can possibly cost you more because of collectors wanting it.
Okay Luis I need a gamers opinion, I am new to the fire emblem series, I watched this review because, hell I watch all of your reviews regardless of what game you are reviewing or what platform it is for, after watching this review I decided to play fire emblem awakening (which I got as a christmas present but never played prior to this review) and I FUCKING LOVE IT! it is on route to be one of my favorite games of all time, as of right now im on chapter 8 or so and I noticed that birthright on amazon is completly sold out, but conquest is not, also amazon has a deal that you can get 20% off new games but only for 2 weeks from the day the game was released, so I can get conquest around 8$ off, my question is, should I wait and see if birthright comes back in stock? or should I order conquest now since it is in stock and I can save some money?Being that conquest is harder and is for older fans of the series. Thank you luis! you're a great content creator and a great guy! Thanks again man.
+Gregory Ed I enjoyed Conquest's story more than Birthright but it's definitely a more challenging game. If you liked Awakening, I think you'll do fine in Conquest :)
I really hope I can get this game tomorrow. however, part of my wants to buy digital version for convenience, seeing as I plan on playing this game constantly, but the other halls wants to buy the all in one cart just because it'll be rare in the future.
Who's version is that in the end? That doesn't seem like the official version, if its a fan cover, I feel like you should give credit... Nice Review BTW!
+The Bright Cube I believe it was an excerpt of what was out at the time since I had the game early and the full english version wasn't out at the time.
Well, they sold all 3 separately so they can get more muns, obviously. They should have sold it as one game, but hey, they learned their lesson for *Three Houses*
Yesterday,me and my friend went to the store to buy the Special Edition...but there is none when we came....then we saw the regular versions....and I had to choose....by playing rock paper scissors with my friend....I said if I win....I'll get Birthright and if he wins then I'll get Conquest.....and the result is....I got Birthright....and enjoying the fuck out of this game right now....so how is Conquest guys and for those people who got the Special Edition....how is Revelations?
That review was really good, gotta be honest there. And thanks for being the first one telling me about how they arranged the online pvp. Always wondered how they wanted to balance it, since Birthright and Rev have the grinding.
Luis I'm in a pickle... I loved Hyrule Warriors so when I saw Hyrule Warriors Legends I was like, "Shut up and take my money!" But recently I got really into FE gameplay and now I want Fates. I only have 30 dollars but I don't know which game to buy.
+Andrew the Potato King I really do recommend Birthright or Conquest depending on your FE skills. However I'm pretty sure all these games including Hyrule Warriors start off at $40.
"I wish they made it one $80 package instead of making you buy it in pieces." ...Why? Why would you be happier being forced to spend $80 before you can experience any of it?
im sure this is a great video like all your others but i want to go into this game completely blind so ill pass on this one haha but i left a like nonetheless XD
+derp.mp3 I wasn't personally really into tactical rpgs like this before the last entry in the series. It's pretty worth checking out though, the only thing is that it's only on 3DS.
What I find missing about this review is just how awful the writing and the overall plot is, or how poor the story reasons are for choosing Nohr. Also, many of the chapters feel like padding, where it's just one random skirmish or misunderstanding after another, not really driving the plot. Corrin is also a Mary Sue/Gary Stu character - a pure power fantasy. I feel like these criticisms should be mentioned in any review but this review focuses so much on the gameplay, soundtrack and content... and bypassed anything that could put off players. This is definitely the worst written Fire Emblem game in the entire franchise and that's definitely not a niche opinion.

Birthright was sold out everywhere so I just decided to pick up conquest instead and bought birthright as a DLC.
+Bfit4u Aw darn, well hope you still have fun with conquest. Hopefully it's not too challenging :)
GamingVlogNetwork That shit is too fucking hard.
+Bfit4u I think it is a lot harder but the story is more engaging than birthright.
I just got my copy of this, I can't wait to fire it up! No pun intended.

Would you recommend this or Xenoblade Chronicles 3D? I'm torn between the two and have been for about 2 months now.

Hey GVN, would it be ok if I bought Conquest as my first FE game, or should I stick with Birthright cuz I like Nohr more (heh that rhymed)
You could go the casual route on conquest but it may be difficult for some newcomers.
I'm debating on revelation. I heard from all over its the best of the three but the reason I don't like the sound of it is it seems like it will take forever to get characters to join you. I don't want it to be like chapter 17 before Corrine's siblings join. Or do people join at a good rate?

I'm going to pick up Birthright first then Revelations. I doubt I'll get Conquest because I'm new to FE games lol
