What make a good leader is realizing you made a mistake, acknowledging the mistake, reversing it [If possible], and asking for forgiveness. He did all of that. We can't hold him to his mistake. Bishop Sheard already clarified that it was about feeding people and nothing else. I'm not sure how necessary this was. I am COGIC all day long and that's been my whole life, but when people need their needs met it's about Jesus. That seems to be what Bishop Sheard was trying to say. He spoke of it as a missed opportunity and not a dodged bullet. There are no denominations in heaven. It's about winning souls for Jesus.
A couple of things: whose head of this organization? Is it Jesus, or is he a byword? Next are these folk led by the Holy Spirit? Lastly, what is the goal of this organization? What is their goal of obeying Christ or continuing their own thing? Jesus help. Hell is real.

See, I am glad somebody noticed it. I did a video on this yesterday, and I pointed out that glaring observation, among other things. Bishop Wooden has been a faithful shepherd, but Sheard lacks serious discernment, and I believe he was looking to make a move for himself and his legacy without giving consideration to the theological implications of the partnership.

Watch the video that Bishop Shierd released. With much prayer Bishop Shierd realized his mistake and he reversed the partnership in less than 24 hours. What make a good leader is realizing you made a mistake, acknowledging the mistake, reversing it [If possible], and asking for forgiveness. He did all of that. We can't hold him to his mistake. God didn't. If he had not referred the partnership and acknowledged it mistake, then I would be looking side ways. LOL!

Bishop Sheard already clarified that it was about feeding people and nothing else. I'm not sure how necessary this was. I am COGIC all day long and that's been my whole life, but when people need their needs met it's about Jesus. That seems to be what Bishop Sheard was trying to say. He spoke of it as a missed opportunity and not a dodged bullet. There are no denominations in heaven. It's about winning souls for Jesus.

See, I am glad somebody noticed it. I did a video on this yesterday, and I pointed out that glaring observation, among other things. Bishop Wooden has been a faithful shepherd, but Sheard lacks serious discernment, and I believe he was looking to make a move for himself and his legacy without giving consideration to the theological implications of the partnership.

It would be helpful and informative if the church could have our leaders Gen Board, Gen Assembly, Department leaders, for example sit and go though the doctrine of the church and Teach what needs to be known. A mass session is needed right about now.😌

Problem with many leaders/preachers is that they don't know sound doctrine. As a result they don't know how to evaluate things that may appear good.
Bishop Wooden's response is very well stated. However, I believe the PB stated that there are some COGIC pastors who are pursuing this partnership. If that is the case, the PB should request for them to end this partnership as long as their churches are under the COGIC.
You would think, if you're asking for forgiveness and claim that you are reversing course, where is your leadership to instruct the pastors under you to also sever their ties with this worldwide cult? I love Bishop Sheard but I am truly disappointed. I'm not even a preacher and I have known for almost 40 years that they don't worship our Jesus. He heard us and decided to cancel the partnership out of the love and concern for the church even though he sounded a little disappointed in his last video. Let's not take something that was descriptive and try to apply it to today. Today. I don't think Bishop sheard should be amplifying or celebrating anything. The Mormon church does however, if they can provide resources that the black community and the Church of God in Christ community have not come up with yet. I don't see it as an issue to use those resources to bless our communities. I believe scripture also tells us the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous. I think at the end of the day his heart was absolutely in the right place to try and give our communities what they most desperately need which is access to food
