No its not compulsory ..but you can definitely use them to enhance the quality of your candle , Stearic Acid is often used in candle making to make candles harder in order to prevent sinking , it is often used in votives and pillars. It is also used to make translucent wax more opaque, increase burn time and retain fragrance.
Hey Thanks for the suggestion..bt if you will check my other videos I make candles with soy wax only...but sometimes I try to experiment with other wax too.. because every wax has different finishing
