At first I was thinking that a run that doesn’t start on hole 1 would be less legitimate, but then I remembered that shotgun start tournament rounds are perfectly legit, so I’m on board
Hey Trevor, I suggested that rule change but had an additional aspect to it I think will help you mentally with the challenge. There is no need to "restart" the challenge. Merely play the holes in sequence, until you score -9 or better. Put an on screen graphic of the last 8 holes similar to Jomez, where it's Gray/Green/Blue and show your total score based off those holes. That way, the perfect round happens when you put together a perfect string of 9 holes, not when you arbitrarily declare that you are restarting and do 9 in a row. I plan on doing something like that at my course for practice. So for instance if you par hole 1, you are now E with [P] . If you birdie hole 2, it's [P][B] , and birdie hole 3, it will be -2 [P][B][B]. just keep on showing each hole on screen until you've counted 9 holes, then shift everything left until the 9th hole drops off.
This is fantastic content. Please keep making videos like this. I felt the pain when you were under the low branches on the last shot. I was yelling at the TV, “go to a knee, go to a knee!!”
I think a good series for this channel would be disc battles but more focus on learning the discs than competing I do it with my bag and it helps a lot in the long run
Be careful w the pinched nerve. A couple years ago I had a minor pinched nerve in my back and I kept frolfing away and after a few weeks of not chilling and letting it heal it eventually got so bad I couldn’t be active for 1/2 year and pain didn’t go 100% away for 9-10 months. Also great series!
Fun series and I like the idea of scoring 9 under on 9 consecutive holes. I’d like to see a bit more disc golf and less of you explaining every shot. Maybe have someone with you to talk with. Videos with you and your brother are great!
From one Trevor to another.... You're making "your" golf really tough. Example: the forehand turnover on the downhill par 4 you finished on. why not go safe- spike hyzer at it with a putter? Respectfully, play better golf. The final "putt/throw in"- why not go to a knee? make the basket bigger. Lastly... a tip for your putt... This helped me a lot because I also push putt. Make sure when you finish your putt there is follow through and intent behind it. Meaning- kick that foot up, shoulder at the pin, and the biggest tip yet, EXTEND YOUR ELBOW. 😃 I hope this helps.
Like the new rule Trevor. You’re right it’s definitely going to come down to putting, gonna have to hit everything in C1. But you definitely got it I think you’re going to par one & eagle one the time you do it 👌💪
I like the rule of continuing the challenge on the next hole. When I coached volleyball and had to teach correct technique, the girls always had to take time to “unlearn” their bad technique or the way they had always done it. It will take time, but the new putt will eventually take form and feel normal.
New rules work great. You should add a counter with the scores that help us with the overview of how many holes to go. Maybe list all holes and checkmark the completed ones.
Think you need to switch up the strategy on hole 4, hammering the tee shot for a possible eagle is too low %. Think if you threw a hyzer flip Supra, flex with the shark slot, or a straight fairway, you can keep it in the middle easier and have a high % birdie.
I'd consider discing down off the tee on 4. Looks pretty far downhill. Or, forehand drive? Keep practicing the putting it's looking way more consistent.
I initially didn’t care for it when you were presenting the new rule, but it grew on me throughout the video. Out of interest, what is your best score on this course so far?
New rule is great. Saves you potentially time wasting walks back to hole 1 and could be sick if it ends up that your last hole is one of the par 4s and you need to 2 it.
Hey I’m thinking into getting into taping my own rounds to put on TH-cam what kind of equipment should I start with I have an iPhone 13 now what can I use with it thanks in advance
The best round I ever threw in my life started with a bogey on the first hole. Starting the challenge when you start throwing well, I worry will give a an asterisk, not from me, but from yourself. It’s a second shot ace.
Please throw a putter off hole 4s tee you’ll have a mid or fairway in to the green. Getting the distance driver in the middle is way to hard when putter putter is reachable.
I absolutely do not care what hole you start on. As long as you play the required number for the challenge, starting on 1 or 7 is kind of moot. Most viewers would not know the difference anyway you could tell them hole 7 was hole 1, and they would just go with it because they do not know the course.
That was a pretty egregious foot fault on the putt on hole 3. After seeing that I noticed you have a tendency to kick your disc a lot when you pump fake. Give yourself another inch behind your disc when you putt. I don't want to see Brodie catching you on one of those foot faults to negate the PS5 when the time comes.
The new rule change means we see a larger variety of holes, which is good for viewing.
At first I was thinking that a run that doesn’t start on hole 1 would be less legitimate, but then I remembered that shotgun start tournament rounds are perfectly legit, so I’m on board
Yeah it feels weird to me too but it really doesn't make a difference does it lol
Throw from a knee on that last shot Trev! C'mon!
I thought the same thing, but the camera usually makes baskets look a lot closer than they really are.
@@Screeelingstill gotta drop to a knee with that much space off the ground

Dude, same. Was like nice, he's got a lil forehand from a knee. Saw him wind up and yelled NOOOOO
Yeah for me that would have been a knee Glitch throw.
I think a good series for this channel would be disc battles but more focus on learning the discs than competing I do it with my bag and it helps a lot in the long run
Love the new rule changes and wondered why you didn’t get on a knee for your last shot but it was tough regardless haha. Keep it up brother!
Playing LC until you get 9 consecutive birdies is dope. You can even have your best birdie streak on the overlay. I like this content!
Dude, this series is awesome!
Ive been chasing a perfect round for 6 years.
Love watching your content and seeing your channel grow!
Enjoyed watching this! I like how you share what disc you’re using.
Really liked this new format for this series.
Keep the content coming. I like this new format. It makes every hole important no matter what. Thanks for keeping us entertained!! Lol

Also great series!
Last hole (hole 4), was a putt/shot from a knee not possible?
Dude, yeah. Gotta go to a knee there
This is inspiring me to get a perfect round at my local 9, heck yea.
Keep it going Trev, you’ve got this. Only commented to show support.
Keep em going!
I like the change, makes it fun to watch
No knee putt?!

We're all going to get real familiar with this course, haha. But that's going to make things move faster.
Foot fault on the 1st bird. Curious shot selection on the up on 5, that was an easy chip back hand with the toro.
Hey Trev! What Mic do you use for these? the quality sounds great
I have a course like this in my town. I have went under at every other nearby course except for one and it’s my home course 😂
From one Trevor to another....

Loving all your content Trevor!
Good content. Keep it up Trev.
Have you thought about throwing a flex forehand on hole 4 and trying to stay out of rough on the right?
Perfect height Perfect flight. Great slogan for the series lol like the new rules. Keep it up Trevor
Put it on a Staub Maub shirt
Heck yeah dude! Keep trying until you get it - loving this series.
Like the change!

Love the content! What mic and camera setup are you using??
Lookin good out there Trev, love the series!
I do like the new rule!
I love the content and man, you were super close!!
Love it man so close! Maybe next time take a knee for an easier shot under the low ceiling?
19:48 Trevor ‘papa good putt’ Staub
The change is good. We get to see more holes. Less talking …More shots!! Love the content.
New rules work great. You should add a counter with the scores that help us with the overview of how many holes to go. Maybe list all holes and checkmark the completed ones.
Keep the mental aspects up man, you know how it goes 👊
You're pretty close already, keep going mate
I tried to do this challenge on my channel and decided to change it up to a Course Conquest series 😅
he definitely sold the tee shot at 21 min hole 4
Like new rule and next week you should do a glitch round vs your brother
Last hole eagle attempt I believe you should have done it from your knee.
Trevor Staub Disc Golf, This is amazing! I subscribed right away!
Love the rule change
Let’s gooo first baby hope that nerve is feeling better
Trevor, you miss low on so many putts. Don’t be afraid of life!!
Ordered my shirt last week!!

New rule makes perfect sense
You need to buy a 170 star innova charger and your game will improve. No question
🔥🔥🔥
I'd consider discing down off the tee on 4. Looks pretty far downhill. Or, forehand drive? Keep practicing the putting it's looking way more consistent.
Needed a champ Rhyno for that last forehand. Will say I was at least on the edge of my seat at times.
Love the rule change. But why no kneel down for that last bid
I initially didn’t care for it when you were presenting the new rule, but it grew on me throughout the video. Out of interest, what is your best score on this course so far?
Sounds good, Its all practice till your ready. Nothing wrong with that.
Throw a flippier disc on hole 4 9:50
new rule is acceptable. i think there’ll be an asterisk to the challenge if you don’t just walk up to hole one and ice out from there though
That's why it's a TH-cam round and not a rated round.
New rule is great. Saves you potentially time wasting walks back to hole 1 and could be sick if it ends up that your last hole is one of the par 4s and you need to 2 it.
like what happened in this episode....
@@constantfluke yup - I commented that as soon as he asked to give feedback. Funny it already worked out that way.
A shark would have worked well for that approach on hole 4 first attempt
Hey I’m thinking into getting into taping my own rounds to put on TH-cam what kind of equipment should I start with I have an iPhone 13 now what can I use with it thanks in advance

If you were to end that round -8, is that your course record? Because if so, that alone is a huge win.
To start the challenge and if first throws of the day stay on hole one until ur comfortable. Then after if things go awry next hole starts over.
I think you’re going back and forth to some old habits with your putt
Why not go to a knee to help with the ceiling on the final attempt?
yeah I like the start the next round on a the next hole instead hole 1
Hole 8 & 9 killed you, great series tho!!
Gotta get some of that putting practice in. Its really holding you back from completing challenge
Please throw a putter off hole 4s tee you’ll have a mid or fairway in to the green. Getting the distance driver in the middle is way to hard when putter putter is reachable.
Shots like that last one are one of the reasons I bag a glitch. Makeable shot from a knee with it I'd think
Do attempt # pushups at the end of video lol
For the graphic would be nice to add what hole of the challenge you are on besides the normal hole since these aren’t the same
I absolutely do not care what hole you start on. As long as you play the required number for the challenge, starting on 1 or 7 is kind of moot. Most viewers would not know the difference anyway you could tell them hole 7 was hole 1, and they would just go with it because they do not know the course.
New rule is gold
i like the rule change
Do it left handed. Eagle did.
Foot fault hole 2
It's a low-ceiling forehand run. You sure that you don't want to take a knee?
Your play well sir...
Should of gone down on a knee for that last hole for the flick. Would of made the ceiling higher
I would like to propose a challenge of team Creed in Kentucky vs Foundation
Go to the knee on that forehand for the last throw!! Smh
if you released palm up that putt easily gets the height with 0 effort
duuuuuuude!
Great round! I wish you would have tried to take a knee
Low key would rather watch your break 57 practice rounds
New rule has to be added, no talking right before throwing a putt or drive
Your putt isn’t looking any different since you made the Clayton putting video
Why not throw the last one from a knee?
BOI GET ON YOUR KNEES!
If you don’t get on a knee
Day 2 of commenting until Trevor puts the shark back in his bag.
Gotta drop to a knee on that last putt, Trevor!
So the point is 9 birdies in a row no matter what hole it starts on? OK, -9 thru 9.... got it.
