If you play solo, focus on get the real cra and absolab to put it on at least 17* and proper lines, then you progress to harder bosses like will lucid and slime. After that, normal progression
@@maximelac5604 whats your damage range and IED? i just did it on my aran a few days ago. I stacked a bunch of buffs on myself, tried to get as much IED and boss damage from event buffs to solo it. took about 20 min but I managed to do it that way. slime boss is just a very tanky guy.
Also for newer players, id invest points in to the event stats (Azwan Shamaness' Blessing) into Monster Park Clear EXP and Arcane River Daily Mission Rewards to level up your hyperburns even faster. The Arcane River bonus also gives bonus symbols per level if you want to max out your symbols faster!
I'm already 251 on my first HB from dailies and 227 on the second from exp vouchers/ the free strawberry farms. The MP exp buffs from the candle event is insane.
hey Duky i recently got back into maple after watching a bunch of ur vids they're fantastic. I haven't even finished the video but given what you said at 1:08 i would absolutely love to see a video from you about how to approach the item burning event. For me (230 illium with 1.7k legion and mostly level 1 bossing link skills who's never been this deep into the maple progression arc before) hyperburning seems easy enough (just get levels and pick up rewards xd) but item burning boss kill requirements are a completely different story (currently 230 but item burning says at 210 you should clear chaos vellum which i feel im nowhere close to strong enough to tackle) would love to see a vid about how to approach item burning to get max rewards thanks!
He definitely has a gear guide somewhere but generally just try fill ur item slots up and you can google what bis (best in slot) shoulder is for example and try to figure it out like that. Building legion goes a long way for you and links for damage. Otherwise make use of buffs and guild skills (try to join guilds) and itll help add on to ur damage. Also you can have a preset for your hyperstats, so u can have one specifically for bossing and one for training. Hope this helps and have fun! :)
With item burning you can still get the 15 star dominator pendant from the absolab/dominator box from the lvl 220 reward, which is 1 pendant. For rings, you have eternal flame from the burn, get an event ring or 2 from the history event and fill the remaining ring slot with treasure hunter John ring (fill up with silver blossom if you can't get a second event ring). Second pendant can be a mechanator. For earrings get will of the wisp from hilla or dea sidus from horntail. For belt I'd use enraged zakum belt from czak or the pink one from pink bean. Same for pocket slot. Rest of your slots should be filled by the item burning stuff. Also do gollux everyday on whatever difficulty you can clear so you can work on replacing most of these Not sure if replacing the challenger cra with "real" cra is worth it this early, but work on that as well, slowly, as you want it when the burning stuff expires. Furthermore, make sure you get your nodes in order. Lvl 50 boost nodes, and high level 5th job skills as well.
I think the biggest advice i could add to what Duky said is to get your Hyper burns strong enough to do some kind of weekly bossing as fast as possible. Weather its just C zak or hard magnus. Those weekly boss mesos add up, especially if you have 3 or 4 characters that can run them.
I'm eagerly awaiting the video covering the 1-200 questline they added. I'm newly returning to the game with THIS PATCH and I find it to be pretty good honestly, although I am coming from the perspective of someone who has never gotten to 200 without hyper burning or tera blink. My Hyper Burning character was a BM because I always thought the class would be fun, but playing thief characters is just so much more fun for me, so I feel like I made a huge mistake... but now I'm working on my Night Walker and Shadower, with a Nigh Lord coming soon.

I'm just getting back into MS again, havent played normal worlds in so long, but the burning world brought me back. I have Evan at 105 and Mercedes at 142, both just regular burning. I definitely appreciate all of the guides like this, I'll probably start up a hyper/item burn character soon 😄
Would love a guide on how to beat all the bosses in the item burning lineup. As a returning player I've only ever beaten Zakum, lotus and slime are so foreign to me XD
I just been doing dailies, and mostly 1 monster park because I am in the burning world and MP tickets cost RP or NX. I did 3 monster parks during one of the extra monster park XP events. And I am 239 on my DK and 224 on my Shade. It's a pretty steady grind. Having til late Jan, early Feb means you don't need to stress too heavily. Do dailies, kill bosses, profit.

I’m actually doing the opposite- HB shade, and have an HB NW which I’m item burning on. Originally was going to stop at 230, but have been enjoying shade so much that I want to get it up to 260 first. I’ll then go back and focus mainly on my NW. 5 more levels on my Shade then I’m home free!

I Hyperburned a Shade (lvl 239 currently), 0 to 100 + strawberry farm an Aran (215 currently, will stop at 220), and hyperburned a bowmaster (206 currently). I never grind, just do dailies, right now I'm splitting between Shade and BM because Vanishing Journey, Chu Chu and Lach exp are less important at lvl 239. If something goes wrong, I'll be using the exp tickets from ride or die on those characters
My only thought is to get the second character to 200 ASAP just to use the golden farm since its that much more effective at 200, while you focus everything else on the other character. Since the tickets are limited to x amount a week

My Item burning HB is 251 (DK) and my 2nd one (shade) is 233. I've really just been doing dailies but the shade is sooo easy to farm with that I find myself just popping a 30m 3x and farming a bit and it really adds up. I don't farm at all on my DK.
So I have a semi-related question, say I have a Hyperburn on Scania, an interactive server, and a second Shade Hyperburn on the "Burning" seasonal server since my understanding is EXP is faster there. That way I can get the event title faster. If I get that Shade all the way to 260, am I able to transfer the event title to my main when the burning character gets to server hop from the Burning Server back to Scania? I know a lot of items come as claimable but only after a certain time period, so I'm wondering if there's a concern I won't be able to get my Burning world character back to Scania in time to move over the title... or am I thinking through this wrong?

Im surprised so many people feel like they need a guide for item burning, its really not that complicated. 1) level 2) do the bosses 3) upgrade your gear most of the bosses are pretty simple (stay out of the huge damage indicators), but if you are stuck on a boss, look it up. Theres already written and video guides for every single boss thats in the item burning track, I just checked
when you have all these different systems and events of course people are going to feel overwhelmed. sometimes you just need someone to tell you "hey, this is all you need to do. don't worry about it"

To me, the main payout of maple is progressing through the game, both gearing and progressing new bosses. Its a marathon, not a race, and the game already does its best to rush you through the entire early and midgame near instantly and obsolete it. I just dont understand what the rush is for people to turn their brain off and blaze through content, because these bosses ARE the game. There isnt some huge checkpoint you are racing to, the gameplay is pretty much the same from 1 hour in when you hit 200, all the way to lategame (obviously lategame has more grind attached and earlygame has legion attached but its basically the same gameplay loop). I suppose this contributes to why so many people dont stick with the game/are seasonal, because they are looking for something this game doesnt have. I think if people just learned a bit more patience, to be a bit less dopamine chasing, they would probably have a much better time with the game
Pretty easy to get 2 260's with this event. I hyperburned my 208 NW and got him to 250 in 3 days lol which was crazy to me because it took me a month and a half to get my bowmaster from 1-260 without burning. Sitting on a 260 NW and a 239 Shade already.

That includes Chaos Vellum, so I'm stuck on the 2nd stage of item burning. I'm not sure how to go about getting stronger and getting better gear. Would love a guide on how to get stronger and how to get better gear/which gear to get after item burning is over. Specifically for lower legion/cp players.

Hey duky my item burning character is a lvl 230 Hero which is my second main. My main is a lvl 255 night walker (non burning). Some people told me to focus on my NW to hit 260 ASAP. But some people also mentioned to focus on my hero first to get it strong asap to run stronger bosses and hit 260. What should I do?
I made my HB’s in Burning World. I would’ve been stronger if I did it in my original world where all my other characters are, mainly for legion/link. Now for item burning, the bosses are extremely hard for me.
duky or people from the comments, my shade currently has the burning item and is lv239 11m cp, I wanted to know what would compensate more, do the hluwill/cten runs through the umbra boxes or put the absolab 21 star. I have 9k legion and this shade is my 7 boss mule. About boss mechanics, even black mage know everything.
Please a guide on the item burning bosses!!! I-ve also been seeing other players my level and their combat power is at like 5M while mine is at 1.6M I have no idea how they did that, if you could explain how to increase combat power I would appreciate it!
Don't really need to buy the 3x coupons for the most part. The basic research alone gives 3 each day for 5 days. So 15 total. Not many people have time to burn all those coupons :X.
Keep practicing bro and you’ll get it down eventually. Also keep in mind that Duky is a veteran player, so mechanics to him is second nature at this point. His legion is also really high and that helps raise IED, crit, and boss damage exponentially.
I just started playing a couple of days ago. Im so lost on what to do. I hyper burn Aran to level 200 via tera blink. I got some gear from chest, but it's temp gear. I try to do Zakum, and i barely do any damage. Also, i think i messed up. I started shade as hyper burn as well. There's no way to reverse that. Is there? Im still stuck at 200 with Aran. Do i just do level 200 quests? Do i try to do item burn? Lol. This game is soo overwhelming.
You have to go to arcane river once you hit level 200. You will need at least 300,000 combat power though to do arcane river. You have to avoid the Chinese letters on the floor when you do zakum. You can also go to the dark tree in sleepywood (the top portal where the green dragons are) if you are too weak for arcane river. Make sure you are doing the monster park every day. Then go buy the red potions from the monster park merchant so you can fight better. Get your legion started and put your characters on the legion board. Attack will be best placement since you sound weak. Go to leafre and buy the dragon food potion from the shop inside the house on the left. That will give you some attack too. By the way, if you click on maple guide on the bottom right menu of your screen, that will get you to all those places easily.
@@AB-fq4mr In the months I'd played none of my characters had 300k combat. at 200 it was 24k It was hell to level I had a easier time leveling on my beginner back in the day. It wasn't doing anything wrong, it just felt impossible to farm mesos. People say just do ursus. But you can't. Your stuck on zakum, hilla, and cra and maple tour. Which just feels like scraps. I did arcane river with a lot less. Without good legion you just feel helpless xD
How in the world do you have 22m cp on this character? I've got 4m with the same equips (special burning items), such a big difference and im losing it!!!
O man i think one thibg you forgot to mention was the EXP Tickets we are getting every week as well another source of exp if you can get atleaast 300 points for 3000 exp tickets a week
My ride or die boss portal is broken, so all i am left with is mobbing and legion. All is well though, I got my main from 4.0m combat power to 5.9m with this event alone...still happy.
@@lunaris4616When you go to the map, it is cut off after the two shopkeepers and the red portal is missing. When I talk to Althea, she just thanks me for participating and that the event is over. Happens on all my characters. It worked the first week and I killed two bosses. Then just poof half of the map went missing after the second update.
Training my hyperburn? pff i do dailies, 7 mp and that's it for maple, then i go back to do rankeds on league. I need to climb back to master edit: There are people out there hyperburning and spliting the dailies on 2 characters at the same time? Daaaaammmn

Grandis symbols are more important unless your max. Unlike night troupe the symbol bonus is one char only :(.

you want aran, luminous, evan, mercedes, shade, phantom links, get all those chars to 210

Couldn't you also park your hyperburns at certain levels just to use mag pots on them (I think you get 6 mag pots from all the events)

Should i claim the daily exp with my 250 non burned lara (my main) or my burned & item burned bishop (im new-ish so im trying to give lara all the love i can)
I play on and off, mostly stop playing because i have no friends on maple and last year I decided to main lara on reboot. (Still not sure if I want to main her but she's the strongest character I have)

Problem is these tips only apply only to the Heroic server cause you can't use meso's to get monster park ticket on interactive servers

Hey duky my item burning character is a lvl 230 Hero which is my second main. My main is a lvl 255 night walker (non burning). Some people told me to focus on my NW to hit 260 ASAP. But some people also mentioned to focus on my hero first to get it strong asap to run stronger bosses and hit 260. What should I do?

Was it a newly created hyper burn? Or a character that you already made before? Item burning can only be done on newly created hyper burns
@ I made a hyperburn character did the item burn for it. Didn’t like it deleted it and made a new hyperburn now can’t claim item burn on new character
@ oof should’ve read the patch notes :( if you deleted the character you started item burning on, you can no longer participate in item burning event.

When you say dailies do u mean just doing the one were you kill like 500 mobs or you add the ones where u go in a dungeon too ?
I hyper/item burned Aran but wish I would have used the item burn on my hyper burned Illium. So now I’m focusing my illium with crappy gear lol

I made my HB’s in Burning World. I would’ve been stronger if I did it in my original world where all my other characters are, mainly for legion/link. Now for item burning, the bosses are extremely hard for me.

duky or people from the comments, my shade currently has the burning item and is lv239 11m cp, I wanted to know what would compensate more, do the hluwill/cten runs through the umbra boxes or put the absolab 21 star. I have 9k legion and this shade is my 7 boss mule. About boss mechanics, even black mage know everything.
Please a guide on the item burning bosses!!! I-ve also been seeing other players my level and their combat power is at like 5M while mine is at 1.6M I have no idea how they did that, if you could explain how to increase combat power I would appreciate it!
They have high legion and use a lot of cubes to get a bunch of ATT stats on their equipment.

Don't really need to buy the 3x coupons for the most part. The basic research alone gives 3 each day for 5 days. So 15 total. Not many people have time to burn all those coupons :X.

Keep practicing bro and you’ll get it down eventually. Also keep in mind that Duky is a veteran player, so mechanics to him is second nature at this point. His legion is also really high and that helps raise IED, crit, and boss damage exponentially.

I just started playing a couple of days ago. Im so lost on what to do. I hyper burn Aran to level 200 via tera blink. I got some gear from chest, but it's temp gear. I try to do Zakum, and i barely do any damage. Also, i think i messed up. I started shade as hyper burn as well. There's no way to reverse that. Is there? Im still stuck at 200 with Aran. Do i just do level 200 quests? Do i try to do item burn? Lol. This game is soo overwhelming.

You have to go to arcane river once you hit level 200. You will need at least 300,000 combat power though to do arcane river. You have to avoid the Chinese letters on the floor when you do zakum. You can also go to the dark tree in sleepywood (the top portal where the green dragons are) if you are too weak for arcane river. Make sure you are doing the monster park every day. Then go buy the red potions from the monster park merchant so you can fight better. Get your legion started and put your characters on the legion board. Attack will be best placement since you sound weak. Go to leafre and buy the dragon food potion from the shop inside the house on the left. That will give you some attack too. By the way, if you click on maple guide on the bottom right menu of your screen, that will get you to all those places easily.
@@AB-fq4mr In the months I'd played none of my characters had 300k combat. at 200 it was 24k It was hell to level I had a easier time leveling on my beginner back in the day. It wasn't doing anything wrong, it just felt impossible to farm mesos. People say just do ursus. But you can't. Your stuck on zakum, hilla, and cra and maple tour. Which just feels like scraps. I did arcane river with a lot less. Without good legion you just feel helpless xD
How in the world do you have 22m cp on this character? I've got 4m with the same equips (special burning items), such a big difference and im losing it!!!
that's the legion raid power, not cp. legion power is mostly based on the characters lvl and less so by gear.

O man i think one thibg you forgot to mention was the EXP Tickets we are getting every week as well another source of exp if you can get atleaast 300 points for 3000 exp tickets a week
My ride or die boss portal is broken, so all i am left with is mobbing and legion. All is well though, I got my main from 4.0m combat power to 5.9m with this event alone...still happy.
What do you mean the portal is broken? Have you tried holding the up key down for a long time while on the portal?
@@lunaris4616When you go to the map, it is cut off after the two shopkeepers and the red portal is missing. When I talk to Althea, she just thanks me for participating and that the event is over. Happens on all my characters. It worked the first week and I killed two bosses. Then just poof half of the map went missing after the second update.
