- This version is amazing but elton can hear himself and so about 5 seconds in he has to yell "more voice" But it's very nice to watch and im pleased to tell you that this show has bass unlike the 3rd night .

When he plays the one chord in the beginning
Thrills and chills
Best! 🎉
Hits your chest if you're closer to the speakers
Tea!
And your still trying to find parking
I love how much Elton knows this song and can play with the song for so long. It’s beautiful
You gotta hand it to the camera crew. Beginning at the 2nd verse, the bass player (the only one that knows how to swing) walks right next to Elton and starts to tear it up, and they STILL manage to make sure hes nowhere in the shots. True professionals. "Wow that bass player is doing really great stuff, TIGHTER ON ELTON!"
I would care but it’s not dee murray
@@nolynreichard7898 Just because he isn't Dee Murray doesn't exactly mean he doesn't deserve respect and credit for what he did
I couldn't agree with you more ...That Bassist Is Total Badass ...Pulling all those 16/th notes and Pulls....Total Badass...
I love both the original rendition of the song and the more recent performances (in which he adds a swing to the rhythm). I'm playing the song at an open mic this semester at law school and trying to make up my mind which way I want to play it now!
The best song EVER
So thankful to have all these videos, makes my drives amazing!
Im glad I can make your drives better :)
Linda música de 50 anos atrás. Eu tocava nos bailinhos de garagem, tempo bom!
Every time I feel like hanging up I listen to Elton. Usually helps but today today mite be
Já ouvi muitas vezes, mas é uma versão mágica que não pode faltar Quem ouvir por favor me dê um joinha
2:40 This is why I am so enamored of him.
Nobody can do it like Sir Elton John! One person whom I would love to meet before I leave this body
J'adore ces artistes immenses comme lui, qui ne font pas la tournée de trop, avant le ridicule gaga. Je ne citerai pas de noms, savoir partir au bon moment, avec panache, la classe !!!. Respects monsieur Elton John !!!....
I was there, people were still driving in walking in when he started playing this song……people missed out……late comers
Sir Elton John. Happy Valentine's . Hello Bruh I think the world of Elton John so thank you kindly when I was a child we had pin ups and sam goodies records store. It was really cool you could get there early on saturday and get his new release on a single 45 .
4:43 I enjoyed that little tribute to George Gershwin, presumably because he lived in LA at the time of his death.
I was going crazy all morning trying to figure out where I heard that before 😂 knew the comment section wouldn’t let me down, thank you!
@@mattkelly1031 Haha you're welcome
The bassist is just incredible
Thank you so much for uploading it
最高です! 大好きです! 応援しています!
Soo soo nice!!😊😊
Great song....... 😢
Элтон!!!✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️
That song is good
he’s so cool
This is the Sh*t 💯
1:00 Does anyone get what Elton says under his breath?
He says «more voice» i think, to the sound-guy to turn him up:)
Prefer this to the 20th because of 3:09 to 3:18 because he didn’t do the b-b-bennie and the jets in the show I was at which I was really disappointed with
I agree with you, when I see him I look forward to it, he probably wasn’t in voice on the 20th for that, it’s definitely not easy to do and sound good
😢😢
lighten up dude...
Does somebody understand what he says at 1:02 just after "solid walls of sound" ..
“more voice” I think he could not hear his voice
You're right, he says "more voice" to the monitor guy , thank you.
Didn't exactly yell "more voice" - I might not even have noticed if it wasn't pointed out. 😊
My friend and I was still at the bathroom when this happened😂 I ran out almost without washing my hand and I left his ass behind😂😂 he didn’t blame me tho he would’ve done the same thing
how did u almost not wash ur hands 😂

Bad memories:(
He’s been sober longer he was on drugs and he still does that . Nowdays I wonder if he just does that when he’s sick to keep the snot from sliding out of his nose .
@@Bruh1986. ik, but its sad remeber those days :c
Maybe he had an itch. Those nose itches come on suddenly and can drive you crazy- gotta take care of that fast when performing I imagine. What I wonder is how do you deal with certain other areas when performing.
@@timmorris2117 ik what you are thinking about and I think that’s why he gets up after most of the songs he sings
@@Bruh1986. really showing age on this last tour. Can see it when he stands up. Had that hip replacement or whatever and it's the first time I've seen his pants on kind of crooked ( forget what show that was). I don't know what's scarier to see get old- yourself your parents or your heroes. Life is short.
He's always playing Yamaha piano only, right ?
He’s played Roland and Steinway pianos as well
I was at this concert. Elton’s songs are classics, but when he’s live you can never sing along because he sings them different every time. After this song was Philiadelphia Freedon, it was un recognizable. I wasted $2400 on 4 tickets to hear a parody. Never again
Because thats what the greats do it's always been that way u do it different live than in the studio if u want a watered down performance go to a boring ass Adele show u better recognize greatness
Sounds like a skill issue to me, if you don't know Elton's new phrasings and can't sing along get with the times. But no, seriously I'm joking. I like that he's changed the phrasings up, otherwise all his shows would be the same. Even 80s versions of his 70s song had different phrasings, he's always been like this
I’ve seen him live dozens of times, including this show. The songs are stylistically varied but the lyrics are exactly the same. He’s the best live performer in the industry.
🤣
@@jjouney Exactly
Don’t sound good 😔
Sounds great for 74!
Larry, he's 74. He sounds fantastic
