On the work front Im doing day to day supply, so its turn up, teach the day, mark if required, go home, bye see you tomorrow. No meetings, no extra work nor planning. Ive got my evenings and full weekends back. Ill do it for as long as its sustainable financially. Should be ok. So yes will be at GETs, as yes Julian from station road is coming. Looks like GETs is the show to be at this year.
When to TINGS on saturday, same i miss you. May see you at GETS. Wow, that is a lot of work doing all that relivery of all that stock, but if anyone can do it and do a good job, it you. Take care, stay safe, and have fun.

Hi Came across your vid for the first time tonight. You did spell the name of the layout correctly. It is Craigillin. Thanks for posting a vid of the layout. I remember running your class 90 for you. When exhibiting if anyone wants to try a newly purchased model out we always say yes. If there is an issue it can be returned straight away. It was good to meet you. I've even kept my virgin liveried trains as well, think it's a nostalgia thing. It'll be good to see all the new and refurbished stock running on piccadilly though. Ahhhh bless you thanks Andy, A lot of my stock is quite random, when associated to Piccadilly, so trying to create some more related trains. I’m still keeping the 142s and the GWR HST will be coming back. I’m still hoping to relivery the 800s at some point

Came back to see this. Dapol planned a 323 for N Gauge but it probably won’t be out until late 24/25 at the earliest. Also the 323s won’t be withdrawn by Northern they’re being withdrawn by WMT and being sent to Northern to replace the 319s which have all gone now. You could however have the 195/331s to represent the Hope Valley services and the Liverpool/Blackpool services plus the select few to Stoke etc…
Hi, thank you for the revisit and hate to be contrary but sadly the Dapol 323 is OO only, pl see link below. Chances are theyll see how the OO on goes then rescale for N gauge. You are probably right with 2 years even if that was N gauge, make my own it is. The project is on hold atm until 2024. Hi John. Bit of a correction I think. It is the 319s that are being withdrawn. Not the 323s. Indeed we are even getting additional ones from West Midland as they get more new stock. If you have any other info I love to know it. Tony.
Hi, I heard it on someone else’s video, how true? Not sure. I do know the WMT ones are getting new 730s and those 323 coming north. From my point of view neither 185, 730 nor 323 are made as RTR models so it doesn’t matter. 323 are blander in design than the new counterparts so they might be easier to build.
Hi, you may well be correct, I did hear a rumour they were trains along the class 196 type electric obviously. Im sure we'll find out in the coming months
Looks good liking the transfers on the hsts and mk4s tfw looking forward to the bread and butter 185s and nice to see a intercity charter wcml and in my opinion it is a shame mk5as and 68s are being withdrawn because of the seat capacity increase to q95s that will ne stretched all over making 3 car rather than 6 car more common. Are you going to try and be able to couple your 185s up when made and I imagine you like them in the current livery and what runs now so no chance of a first purple doors 185 which ran up until 2016/17 from there Introduction but thanks again keep it up
Hi, think its a case of 1 step at a time. Im going to do the IC train first then start thinking about 185s. I hadnt thought about coupling them, but thats a good idea as Ill only need one motor unit. We'll see
Hiya john Hope your well ? WOOOOWWW you have been busy . The colas power car look ACE . What orange did you use ? In regards to your class 185 . Have you considered a class 350 as a doner model after all the body shells are actually identical apart from the corridor ends which do come off ( Just a thought ) the TFW class 67 set will look awesome . AND finally you have a class 90 welcome to the class 90 owners club . You will enjoy running that loco trust me on that 😉 Thought you might have got a freightliner one But believe me you have chosen a good one
Thank you for your kind words. The HST colours are not exact, but mixed it to as close as I could. Few years ago I was thinking about the 185 s and 350s both being desiros, but 185 carriages are much longer than 350s, and that put kiposh on the then project. Im thinking about possibilities atm, not got any further yet. With the 67, Im keeping the schenker livery as there would have been non standard swaps from time to time. The 90 runs beatifully. You can see it running on one of the TINGS layout, I put a caption on screen to say.

I think the greasem product is a dry lubricant. That means that if you have oil on gears and put the new product on it will just gum everything up.

Nice repaints John, the tpe class 185 is going to be quite a challenge! Used to ride on those a lot.
Hi, Im currently giving thoughts to how Ill build those, but one step at a time. Someone suggested 2 units coupled meaning one motor unit. Could work
