    Beautiful videos! How do you capture airplanes without vibration or jitters and follow their movements so smoothly? What tripod do you use?

    Great video. I live in the Great Lakes region and frequently get to watch Asian or European traffic depending on winds aloft. But this year, with the Canadian forest fire smoke, it has made high altitude spotting impossible. Even if they fly directly over head. An annoying year. Keep up the good work.

      Oh yes, i witnessed a fire in Portugal, although it was only one day it made spotting contrails and even planes descending to the airport impossible. I have a spotter friend from that area as well, i hope it gets back to the norm soon :). Would love to go there and spot trails at some point in the future, thank you 😊.

    hi, I live in an area where planes fly-by quite a lot, ranging from E175's, to A380's and C-5's. but they are really hard to see, what type of high altitude plane-spotting equipment do you suggest?

    • @srplaness
      @srplaness  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nikon P1000 or 900 are your best bet in the lower price range. Then a Telescope is next which has much better quality but will cost more and you would have to buy an additional cam + more work with that. I myself am aiming for a telescope in the future but the P1000 fits me now because i am moving places a lot so its mobile. There are also some cheaper options such as canon sx70hs. 🙂

      (translated) Contrails adalah awan yang terbentuk ketika uap air mengembun dan membeku di sekitar partikel kecil (aerosol) di knalpot pesawat. Uap air tersebut berasal dari udara di sekitar pesawat dan knalpot pesawat.
