So inspiring. I am in tears every time I hear it. Don’t forget it’s a African American spiritual and regardless of color or creed, we are all children of the one God
Such a beautiful song that fills me with emotion every time I hear it. The first time I heard it Christmas 2020, the line “O sister, don’t you want to go to heaven?” pierced my heart, as through the Savior were asking me the question directly because He knows I haven’t been on a path leading me to heaven.
Absolutely stunning in the Spirit and love of Jesus Christ. And the HOPE that we all can have in the Savior. I would love to meet this special family. My wife passed away with cancer 2 years ago and I found this video to be amazing in its simple message. We CAN be together forever again, I did not grow up in the church, I was intrigued by the music of the choir. I met with the missionaries and like in this video, The Savior showered me with His blessings and His Love. My thoughts, prayers and love go out to the White family. From a friend in OHIO you have not but hopefully will meet someday!!!
My mom has pancreatic cancer, and we’ve had so many miracles for her. I trust in the Lord no matter what happens, thank you for your faith affirming comment.
I have heard a few comments something like, “Why Kim? There are many young moms that battle cancer and are so valiant.” Yes, but I think Kim was a good light for all of them. She wasn’t necessarily more valiant than anyone else, but she was willing to live publicly ALL of it. And the overwhelming message through it all was Jesus. Hope. Faith. And a whole lot of charity. She gave more in her afflictions than I have in my blessed and privileged life. She was and is an angel, and a Christian soldier. May her family feel the blessings from Heaven and receive comfort this Christmastime. 💛🌲❤️
This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the reminder that it’s because of Him our families can be reunited again. What a beautiful tree! You are carrying on Kim’s legacy, and for that, I thank you. ♥️

Thank you White Family! I found Kim about a year before she passed away. Truly an inspiration in perseverance and a beauty from the inside out.
Beautiful performance by Kelli, the choir and the orchestra.

At the end, love remains. May God bless to her family. This song and this story is too beautiful.
This is going on my list of favorite Christmas songs. She has such a beautiful voice.
I am Grateful for my membership in the church & for the opportunity to be baptised upon repentance. I am also grateful for the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
