I think the ROC government did this to improve its image. Recently, Taiwan was in the news because a section of Taiwanese people rebuked their government for its supposed plan to bring in Bharatiya labourers. These people spewed racist comments about Bharat and Bharatiya people. Not to forget, Taiwan is going to have its presidential election soon. The incumbent president has to bolster her image if she wants to get herself re-elected. Geopolitically speaking, a country like Bharat is of utmost importance to the ROC.
Watch out for China's propaganda at work... India people know well of Pakistan and Indian disputes. A lot of disinformation from each side. Taiwan has the similar problems. Taiwan has gotten a lot of anti India information to make Taiwanese hate its surrounding countries. India is not only the victims. What had triggered the keyboard army was probably started from the end of the Tibet series, because you're not allowed to travel by yourself, And then the next one or two video he had filmed and mentioned the high security in Xinjiang and suddenly all the 50 cents got triggered as if it was a taboo, not allowed to be filmed and talked about from a traveler's point of view. Therefore I can clearly feel his attitude towards China went from 'I really want to explore more because India media will never show this' to 'People are not as open minded etc'.

@@Joemorgan-tx1so Not really, if you watched his China serie 5 months ago it's a completely different story. What had triggered the keyboard army was probably started from the end of the Tibet series, because you're not allowed to travel by yourself, And then the next one or two video he had filmed and mentioned the high security in Xinjiang and suddenly all the 50 cents got triggered as if it was a taboo, not allowed to be filmed and talked about from a traveler's point of view. Therefore I can clearly feel his attitude towards China went from 'I really want to explore more because India media will never show this' to 'People are not as open minded etc'.
