Thanks for the shout out bud. Loving your new machine! Such an iconic colour for the speed triple too, so much so they are bringing back the older colours. I get what you mean about modern bikes having all the rider aids. This GS makes anyone a good rider, but with the older bikes you need to learn the bike which makes it more rewarding to ride! Must meet up soon - Take Care , Nick

No worries mate, truth be told I wasn't too keen on the green but it certainly has grown on me a lot, hope you and jodie are doing well and as you said be great to meet up soon 🙂

I knew it. I saw the green heard the sound and knew instantly it was 09 steet triple (as the 09 had the green colourway and i believe also a purple colour too)
Congrats on the new bike im sure it'll serve you well. Also props to you not getting all caught up in "NEW BIKE HYPE"

Nice bike Sam - love the colour. It was the same colour as the SV that I done my training/test on. Sometimes you just have to go back to basics...I feel you are going to have lots of fun on this machine 🙂

Thanks Cat I will always have a soft spot for a triple and as much as I loved my GS the triple is more engaging

Congrats on the new bike, I love the green, been hankering after Triumph to bring that colour option back for the new bikes!

Congrats on the new bike mate, very nice. I ride a 2005 Honda CB1300 Love older bikes I'm 55 and grew up riding bikes with no electronic aids whatsoever. Yes they are nice to have just in case but without them it forces you to know your bike better and become a better rider.

Thanks Matt, it's definitely feels more engaging with no rider aids just all about keeping sharp and realising your own inputs

    A great bike no doubt.
I had one as my first bike, wouldn’t rule out getting another one one day. 👍🏻

It's definitely a solid bike, and also being able to use the power it has effectively on the road

I wasn't sold on the green at first but it's certainly grown on me, i could not have had this colour on another bike 😂

Nice this is a bike that keeps coming back into my thoughts I currently ride an XJR 12 that's hefty bike at about 245 kilos and the street gives the same amount of power but would be a lot lighter to maneuver so this was a very interesting watch for me .Have to say it looks cool in that green and I like the high level exhausts too .👌👍

I just couldn't resist it all I ever got told was the original street triple was more enjoyable than the newer models, and a plus it's much easier to whip out of the garage without trying to wrestle a heavy machine everywhere 😅

Hey Sam, loving the new Bike, you are far too young for a GS 😂, you still up at Lind, anyway, keep safe, keep the content coming

Certainly loving the triumph a lot more engaging than the gs sad to say I was just getting bored of it as nice as it was, I'm actually not at Lind anymore I've returned back to cutting hair
      hope you're doing well Karl
