Still probably one of the most beautiful things i have ever got from you. My mother still says it's one of her most prized possessions in her science class and the kids always love seeing it. I wish I could own some because it was so hard to give it to her since it looked amazing in person. you did an awesome job making it!!!
I can't quite tell from the vid but what are you using for a salt bridge ? ie; how are the two solutions connected ? I have about 150 grams or so of Analar grade Silver Nitrate and I want to reduce it down and try and flog it off to a jeweler maybe, I'm thinking using the electrolysis method will make it look prettier than just reducing it using another metal...also, better control over the voltage and current and temperature will result in much bigger crystals I think, a lot slower, but, maybe worth it...any ideas on that ?
Nice... I just bought some 800 silver very cheap (VERY), also DC power supply, pure AgNO3 (for less than Ag spot)... I just have to think about some smaller size... I do not have kilos of Ag (yet)...
@@Littlebear1224 I buy pure crystalic AgNO3 on Aukro (Czech eBay), people sell old chemicals there, paradox is, that sometimes costs less than silver in it... Recently bought 170 g for like 50 USD.
I have yet to be able to explain to someone how beautiful crystal silver is! The camera can't show it properly. I appreciate your work Jeff. I hope to represent the art of refining one day. Until then, I will continue watching and learning from you.
How strong is the nitric acid that you use 67-70%? And do you wear a gas mask😷 while making your silver nitrate? Or do you just do it in a well ventilated area? Trying this myself and the advice is greatly appreciated...I definitely don't want to end up dead... I've already bought the supplies but I am just waiting on the nitric acid... I bought 67%... 🤞
After you drop the silver from the used electrolyte and are left with copper nitrate, could you run copper shot through the cell to get .99999 copper crystals? As a novelty of course, copper isn’t worth enough for that to be profitable.
I've done this same technique to clean my axe heads, knives, tools, etc to rid them of rust. What effect do you think would happen using the salt and distilled water technique?
Bad silver to new crystal silver ratio? It seems as if you are just changing old bad slugs to newer refined crystal. Does the ratio change meaning the new crystal is more than the old slugs used? Newbie trying to understand is all.
I'm not losing or gaining any silver. Just removing any contamination of other metals. So any weigh that is "lost" is from copper and such being separated from the original material.
Can someone please explain to me why just the silver forms crystals on the cathode? Do does everything at the anode get oxidized, and just the silver reduces at the cathode? much appreciate if u can help me understand.
There are many people out there that choose to store their wealth in precious metals. We call ourselves stackers. We keep a good supply of gold and silver on hand as a hedge against fiat currency, or the dollar. We keep the metals in different denominations and different forms if you will. There are 1000 ounce bars to 1 gram bars or rounds. The smaller bars or rounds are called fractionals. In my opinion, pure crystal elemental silver, such as these amazing Lithic crystals, make the best fractional silver for stackers and people holding silver as a hedge against inflation. You can carry a kilo of it and split it into any needed weight with a cheap 10 dollar scale. Or you can carry a few 10 gram vials of it if you prefer. The options are limitless.
Bah lol... 😅I said, Blue... but def meant to say green. I also said, Lithic .com vs lithic Metals .com... I need to start scripting these things lol. Thanks for watching EG! 😁
*Lithic Metals* What kind of magic is this ?? I must consult with the King. (lolooo) Awesome, thank-you sir for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.

Beautiful work Jeff! Always makes me smile when a video of yours pops up on my feed.
You said blue coloring, it is very clearly green in the video.
Keep fighting that good fight, brother
There is probably palladium in the solution
@@Plant_ParenthoodI'll speak for the OP and say I'm curious why it's not nearly as blue as we've seen in other refining videos.
That was scary for me too 🤣🤣
i love silver, the most reachable commodity for the average person..
Brother idk if it’s the camera or maybe you’re colorblind but that liquid is green, very very green lol maybe I’m colorblind idk
Wow the finished product is beautiful

Nice video Jeff, great product.
Thank you! I'm glad you like it!! Thanks for watching. 😁
I really want some of these crystals actually I would love to grow them my self
Hello Jeff. 🇺🇲Thank you for the silver crysyal clip. God bless you.. Take care. Arne 🇳🇴Norway
Thanks for watching! 😁
Great video.
How did you harvest the cell?

Got goldbugs round. Got one of the 1/20 pieces ever made with just lithic printed on it. No coa, you just mentioned you only did 20. I want crystals!
I appreciate you having Lithic in your collection my friend!! 😁
Love your videos! Thanks for all you do! BTW... I sent you and email and bought a T-shirt! Woo!!
Checked out the website, when will the silver vile's be available sir?
I love these.
✨️🤍✨️ I'm glad you enjoy them too! Thanks, my friend!! 😁
Pretty sure you were an alchemist philosopher in your past life 😮 this stuff you post is super cool!
It appears I am in this life, too. Thanks for watching! 😁
@@LithicMetals undoubtedly true!😂🙏🏻
What about this was philosophical?😂 nor was it alchemical. He purified crude/dirty silver

Yes, apx 67%. No mask. I work outside a fume booth. You definitely don't want to be exposed to any fumes whatsoever.
@lithicmetals is it only the fumes that are dangerous? So well ventilated area? Also how is all this stuff stored or disposed of?
Need a how to build video❤ I would like to do this
The set up isn't that difficult. However, there are some challenges to doing it safely.... both health and environmental.

I've done this same technique to clean my axe heads, knives, tools, etc to rid them of rust.
What effect do you think would happen using the salt and distilled water technique?
I maybe asking a stupid question here, but what do you do with the silver crystals?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m a complete newbie when it comes to all of this. Is there a way to melt the harvested crystals into silver bars?
Sure. Just apply enough heat and you will get a blob. Pour it in a mold and you will have an ingot.
Bad silver to new crystal silver ratio? It seems as if you are just changing old bad slugs to newer refined crystal. Does the ratio change meaning the new crystal is more than the old slugs used? Newbie trying to understand is all.

Making it puré er and hence worth more In a pure form and you can also do this to gold
So cool man i gotta try this
Wow man I got over 800 grams of scrap silver would you be able to turn that into crystals?
Can someone please explain to me why just the silver forms crystals on the cathode? Do does everything at the anode get oxidized, and just the silver reduces at the cathode? much appreciate if u can help me understand.
Do you make enough silver back to profit? Or do you only make back what silver you put into it?
You can't get more than you put into it. The profit comes from what I do with it after.
@@LithicMetalswhat do you do after ?
Nice crystals
Hello... what is the solution for the electrolyte... Thank you
Silver nitrate
Why don't other metal ions travel through the filter?
What would a person do with those silver crystals when the nice mailman delivers them?
Nice video but just wondering, do turn out with more silver than you started with after melting?
Can't break the laws of physics
@@LithicMetals lol, sorry my bad I didn't clarify I meant in terms of actual value?
Have you ever melted down the crystals and poured it into silver bars?
Yes, but I generally would only use the very fine sand like particles. However, I prefer to use that material for making the electrolyte solution.
Could I potentially use rechargeable batteries to try to mimic the process yoo used?
(Yee-oo) 🤦😂
I think you'd have a tough time
Can we increase speed by increasing voltage
but what can you do with the crystals when you've made them
Could you do this same thing with impure copper shot, a copper anode, and copper nitrate as the electrolyte, i think you gotta keep the voltage lower
What is a silver cell exactly? I can’t seem to find an explanation that gives it in simple terms
It's an electrolytic cell. A cathode and an anode. With an electrolyte and current.
Can I use somewhat unrefined silver powder as the anode to grow 100% silver crystal?
The powder would just clog things up. You'd definitely want to melt it down and turn it into shot.
What other metals can you do this method with
I wonder if you can do gold the same way
Not the exact same way, but similar. Although, it doesn't come out looking as nice.
How much is silver crystal worth? Is it 999 silver or what?
Another great video
Thanks! 😁
Thanks! 😁
Youre welcome
Hi sir. Is it possible to use 925 silver in the cell instead of 99%?
Yes, but I think you'd regret it rather quickly. The electrolyte solution would be depleted way too fast.
Can i put in a pre order ?
Better than best❤
💛
What can you use this on or to do what???? Or just for looks?

why use niquel in silver alloys?
I'm not sure.
So is this creating free silver? Can I do this not have to buy any more silver?
Of course not. This is a part of the refining process. I'm not a magician 🙂
@@LithicMetals well, I enjoyed the content. Thank you for sharing.
What did you use as electrolyte?
Silver nitrate
Your silver was 98% can this be done with much lower quality silver? Say 15-50%
Great video as always Jeff! Am I colour blind? Your blue electrolyte looks green to me

sir how to make this process please tell
I basically go through all the steps in my vids.
Ingredients pls
How much
Can you make big crystals?
Define big... I have some that are 5g up to 20+g... but I don't sell them.
That is big can you show them in a video
#404, this is so satisfying to watch
Can you do a detailed video about this process such as what you mean by silver cell how to obtain gear etc etc
I go into quite a bit of detail in some of my other videos. The first thing I would stress is how dangerous these reactions are.
I know how dangerous they are
I am new to this @lithic how dangerous is this?
But you do a awesome job how do I get some of these
Shoot me an email at lithicmetals@gmail.com and I'll get you on the list. Thanks so much! 😁

Yes. In a very pure state.
cool! now lets see you make it into a silver bar and sell it! 😆

Not in this case. The green is from traces of copper and platinum group metals in solution.
Jeff..
If I was you. I'd get a new sticker for the Silver Crystal's stating 9999 not 999.
Can't really get much purer than a Crystal.
Yeah... the 3nines in the logo, doesn't do this stuff justice. The COAs are more accurate. Thanks for watching Ronnie!
