I felt this comment. Trading is an intensive, psychological game. Sincerely you could get all the back information and still incur great loss to yourself, idk why people don't get this till today. I see no other way to maneuver, manage risk and consistently make gains in the markets without a pro aiding you!
That makes sense! A more conservative, strategic approach to trading sounds ideal. But getting to one is easier than done, a pro I mean to say. To stop mincing words, can you do a referral to yours, can you by chance name your broker?

Trade only one currency or one index etc I became profitable when I started trading only us30 I really know how the market moves at any point because I have seen it many times soo doesn't matter where the price is I have more chances of getting money in us30 that getting a set up in any other stuff
how do you see where us30 goes next week?
It works same way for me, I used to trade many assets and never knew what to do. Once I started focusing on a single asset and became profitable.

Overall, a very good and mostly true video with one important caveat. It's NOT market makers who move the markets to liquidity zones to fill their limit orders. It's a very common mistake.
Market makers are the good guys in this story. They provide liquidity to both sides so anyone can enter without significant slippage. They capture the spread over millions of transactions and that's it, that's how they make their money. It's paramount for them to stay delta neutral, that is to NOT HAVE any significant position (inventory) in either direction. This is why before news MMs pull their orders and spread widens, so they don't get caught off side with a position they don't want. If they wanted to manipulate, they wouldn't disappear before news but, for instance, keep the orderbook thick on one side and thin on the other. They don't play such stupid games as this carries way too much risks and those are very risk averse businesses. Heck, people who make markets don't even look at the charts, they don't know where significant swing lows and highs are, I would say they barely know how to read the charts. They just pair orders and take a small fee for that. I recommend to watch some interviews with former MMs to learn more how it actually works.
Now, markets do sometimes get manipulatively moved to certain areas by some participants. Those are often big prop shop traders, institutional traders, investment banks traders with size etc. They are despised by MMs as they screw up their business model, the same as they are despised by retail traders. These are the real bad guys.
Another thing is, not every liquidity grab is a manipulation. Most are just organic moves, but as bigger players know where stop losses are they will often take the other side of the trade as they're able to fill their orders w/o slippage - but it's not that they moved the market purposefully to the zone, they just patiently wait there with limit orders. No conspiracy or evil manipulation there, just the way market works.

@soarq86 - I could be wrong, but I think he is referring to "Smart Money" when he mentions "Market Makers". In my experience it's actually pretty common for even professional traders to use those 2 terms interchangeably in reference to the one and the same group of entities that run the markets..

@@dedmaroz8943 Depends what you mean by run the market. If you mean move the price, than market makers DON'T DO THAT. They don't want the price to move much! Best conditions for them is endless tight consolidation, second best is a range. They really don't like imbalanced markets moving fast, that's when they risk losing money. They're certainly not the villains of the story.
@@whatislifebro Only trade S/R from the same side if stops have been taken. Same rule for range, long support and short resistance only after a fakeout has occured. For trending markets only trade first retest/pullback to broken S/R or point of origin (supply/demand if you will). Don't trade breakouts.
This is the secret winning formula basically all that is needed to be consistently profitable and outperform 95%.

brilliant summary of an extremely important topic. lets stay on this topic and have more videos showing smart money entry points of trades. one very important information getting into succesful plays is the ability to detect changing market behaviour from trending to ranging but as well to be aware of any news triggered moves. so one important risk mitigation for the shown technique in this video would be to exclude any equities that are about to e.g. publish earnings. for those it should be considered to concentrate especially on news trading techniques.

If you watch ICT's methods he had been showing how smart money aka banks and large institutions since his first market sniper series. Also, in Reminiscences of a Stock Operator the same tricks are used to skin the retailers.
Even after knowing these traps it still takes years of observation before most retail traders to stop being the prey and start following the hunter.

I solved most of these issues by swing trading instead of pure intraday trading. I had an account that limited my day trades and one that did not, and I very quickly realized how much more profitable it was for me to swing trade all things considered.

People need to understand every key area is a zone ,not a thin line. Second see if level is breaking volumes are coming in or not, third see if retest is without volume and at that time rule of polarity comes into play, 4 th know your traded instrument well and it's price behaviour near certain areas, have a setup that is progressive and changes based on change in market behaviour

Been rewatching/listening while driving & I keep catching something that didn't sink in the first time around
Main takeaways so far: 1. Watch for price to return to an area which it quickly+bounced/rejected from because it'll likely do the same again
2. The more touches+lingering around a key level/zone the more likely a breakout is likely
3. Stop trying to find the reversal point & look for trades with trend
4. Be alert for opportunities at whole round #s, which could be right before, right at, or just barely past the whole round # of interest
