I see my rocket delirium tremens at 15:58. The air start did not go due to electronics failure. I’ll be back to try it again soon. Wobbly flight I believe was due to the wind. Thanks Brayden!

Another very cool video. Thanks Brayden

Awesome! You got my Level 1 Cert on video at 1:17. I was the one that came up and chatted with you and was the one that also asked if you caught it by chance.
My video I lost track of it out of frame since I don’t have an EVF on my camera and the sun glare on the screen made it hard to see.
    Great video!

It was a beautiful flight! Nice and straight, good parachute ejection. One thing I would note is the late motor ejection charge, did you drill out the delay in the motor?

@@jaxt2578Yeah, I’ll have to get creative with the spacers on the DDT.
Simulation said an 8.84 second delay was ideal, so I thought I can do 9 seconds, but I wasn’t able to drill the delay in between 8 and 10 seconds because I didn’t have an additional spacer to make up 1 extra second.
Didn’t want to do 8 seconds because I didn’t want a zipper. Luckily after all the propellant burnt out, it was just light enough to kinda just float a little bit and not come down ballistic.

I take it there was a rather tight flight ceiling? there weren't many really high impulse motors or larger rockets. but that L900 was a good sparky.

3:03 RIP Blue Raven and Featherweight GPS. Such promising lives tragically cut short after only a single successful flight earlier in the day. You will be missed.

there were a lot of late parachutes in this video lol

I'm amazed at how many fell sideways. That's some questionable stability.

Hey! You got my first mach 1 launch in there at 10:01 It was awesome getting to meet you. You got some close up footage of my rocket from that day that i was unfortunately unable to recover, do you think that i could be able to get that from you at all? (Edit typo)

Freeze frame at 13:58 to see a real marvel of engineering. Even a brief inspection at the LCO table should've stopped this madness. It's all fun and games until some schmuck sends an L motor ripping through the flight line at Mach 1.

Believe it or not what failed was the 3D-printed thrust ring on the motor itself. Not the rocket.

@@RocketVlogs So was it an experimental motor? Scratch built? That crew looks a little young to be building motors, and, based on the poor design and finish qualities, I get the impression that maybe the proper respect hasn't been paid to the deadly forces and energies they are attempting to harness which could result in complacency that leads to a tragedy of such magnitude that the governmental regulating bodies would swoop in and immediately make flying rockets either cost prohibitive or illegal.
But I'm just an old man who lives in a shed that occasionally goes outside in his underware to yell at clouds. And y'all are gonna have plenty of time for cloud yellin' when you can't fly rockets anymore so you spend all day IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!

@@Kaindog1 you think there wasnt an intro read before that? Pay attention. Keep that shit moving. Cant stand LCOs dragging ass. Almost as bad as the guys taking 10 minutes to get their rocket on the rail.
