Laetitia the beast looks beautiful I like the expression on his face and the faded colors you used the second one is also unbelievable ❤️ I know you have put a lot of work in this and certainly its visible for me it's just perfect! Looking forward to see the castle and that you use only the characters of the real story of belle and the beast give my hugs to Clochette like always 💕😘
Very interesting to know. Fantastic❣️ Always good to know the origins, as they were written. They are amazing❣️Thank you for the history and showing us your beautiful creations.💖
Laetitia, I have no words, exquisitely rendered is not enough of a description!! TFS all this with us. (My copy of Madame Villemeuve's version arrived and I'm starting it this weekend. My DVD is set to arrive at the end of July)
J'adore , Bravo!! really lovely, I remember watching the French movie version when I lived in France. it always has been one of my favorite stories.thank you for sharing:)
Thank you , I will share a bit more about the different films including the french ones in an upcoming video:) it's the reason you speak french you lived in France.. ;)
Merveilles Enpapier Oui, my mother was a french native. I miss my french family. My brother is a war docent and gives tours in France for Normandy battlefields. Unfortunately there is no travel for us to Europe because of covid. 😢 looking forward to your next video merci!
Hello Leticia! Your videos are something I look forward to every week. The coat fabric artwork is beautiful! I would like to suggest you make a course just for painting fabric art since some of us just want to paint. You could use parts of your existing courses and just add some more material to make a online course on painting. Hope you can consider my suggestion. Much love from across the world!:)
Thank you Danio, Glad to read that :) there is a lot of paper painting included in most of the workshops, I would say almost half of them, thank you for sharing your thought, Thank you for stopping by from the other side of the world!
Absolutely beautiful. Love the arbour with the roses. Very interesting to hear about the original version of beauty and the beast and remembering the last video where you discussed the original. It makes me wonder about whether Disney got the rights to turn it into a film and what about copyright? No talking tea pots then like in Disney. I wonder how different the film would have been with the monkeys as servents! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Katie! It is of course in the public domain after 250 years, i guess it would have been very different there are other films that said, which had a different approach sometimes worth seeing, :)
I have not read it and I’ve never seen a movie or a Disney about it. My French is not advanced enough yet to read it in French. Perhaps I should read it in English? The artwork and colors are beautiful. Thank you!
You can easily find it in english though usuallay adapted and abridged but i will give many references of books in the last video of the series for english speaking readers You will see :)
Because it's a very interesting paper I started to work with it 18 years ago and this paper is for sure an endless source of inspiration, many years I had made a video about mulberry paper it is there somewhere on my channel , among the past videos explaining why I like it so much.
