Ok but something I definitely respect about the show is how Will and Simon, for the most part, communicated. Like, will would present the problems of a situation and if Simon started to walk away, he’d be like “hold on I need to explain my perspective” and there was no unnecessary miscommunication in that sense.
yessss i was watching a kdrama and when a couple was upset, one of them would just walk away and let the miscommunication happen instead of explaining their perspective and communicating; really good point 👍🏿
@@asroriadraws my thought exactly. i’m now so used to watching thai and kdramas, and reading fan fiction that istg i forgot that relationships can be healthy and people are actually able to communicate well and proper instead of the toxic traits i’m so used to. ngl i was confused when they were having conversations instead of walking away or arguing about every small inconvenience.

THIS! The amount of shows and movies that fall victim to this trope gets on my nerves. Using miscommunication as a driver for the plot is so irritating. Thank god the writing in this show was superb.
