I'm Indonesian and work at La Defense in 2007-2009 (lived nearby at Courbevoie). Last year I went there to take a trip back on memory lane, some has changed but most aren't. Loved my time there.
Thank you for the intro to La Dèfense! We're staying near here while in Paris for the Games, but are not familiar with the area.

Bonjour, THEO & GABRIELLE! When I return to PARIS, peut-etre, I will visit La Defense... but TO ME - it is just like any other BIG shopping mall in the World. I have been Colombia, Brazil, Jordan, etc. and they are ALL ALIKE! Nothing is as unique as the Center of PARIS! ♥♥♥♥

8:11 yes this the 1st book i bought from scholastic book fair next to Geronimo Stilton: kingdom of Fantasy. But i gave it away to someone. And they said to me they learned a thing or two 💗
I've seen alot of G Stilton's books that are only available in Europe. I want some of those ! especially the latest once, its only written in Italian

Nice look at La Defense, I've been there but I didn't know there was so much there! I am surprised how many youth are there for being a business district! Can you also go to Station F/Bercyas well? I heard it is the startup district of Paris...

What do you mean 'there is no rooftop'??? I went there once. You take one of the elevators (in the transparent tubes in the middle of the arc) to the rooftop and you have a magnificent view of La Défence, and of the straight line to the other famous arc and the Champs Elysées. I had to pay for it though.
