Hi. I went to your site to buy the puzzle, and it won't ship to Canada. However, Canada is part of North America so there appears to be a conflict. Can you advise if you ship to Canada or not.
@@cynthiabrown5468, I believe this has been fixed now! Please try again and let me know!
@@coleycommunication Yes, it's been fixed. Thank you so much.
I’m an American homeschooling mom to our 5 kids. My life is very simple, and not flashy or filled with vacations. I don’t see my husband and I traveling to France in our lifetime (even though we’d love it) but I watch your videos and pay attention as if I’m leaving for vacation next week. 😂 I LOVE your channel. My husband will sometimes join me on the couch and he enjoys your videos too. It’s like our little date night getaway after the kids go to bed. Haha thank you! 🥰
Aaaaawwww, thank you Jamie. We are delighted to be part of your world. 🤗
Don’t count yourself out! You can make it here one day, you never know
I'm sure you'll come to Paris one day! Also the longer you wait, the better it will be. Paris experiences a lot of construction work because of the Olympics and the Great Paris project. Many landmarks are being restored (Notre-Dame, Eiffel tower, Grand Palais...) and the transportation system is a bit congested because of modernization. Give it at least 1 to 3 years for everything to be in shape and we'll be more than happy to welcome you in a city better than ever.
We never really went anywhere when raising our kids. My husband won a trip through work one time, and we took the kids to Disney when they were 12 and 7 (they’re 42 and 36 now). That’s it. We’re retired now, have always helped with our grandkids and work about 15 hours per week, and have started traveling only 5 years ago!
You would be amazed at what you can accomplish when you set a goal. I'm 70 y/o and have been on disability for 25 years. That check is pretty small, but l am returning to France and Italy for three months next spring. You can go!!
Shopping at supermarkets is a top tip, often being able to purchase small gifts for the fraction of what you would pay at airport shops or city centre shops. Carrefour Market supermarkets have plenty of French biscuits and chocolates etc.
It's the same elsewhere, Delhaize supermarkets in Belgium is another example, lots of Belgian produce, for instance. D
I’m visiting next month & will definitely keep this in mind for souvenirs ❤
@@allysonanne6932 the larger Carrefour Market shops, not the smaller ones are the ones to look out for, although smaller Carrefour, Franprix and Monoprix are very common throughout the city. D
You could do a whole series based on a theme.

True, they have done most of your suggestions
I'd like to add gardening. Surprisingly there is lots in Paris of obvious or oblique interest to people like me into gardening. I hadn't expected that! And not just the Jardins du Luxembourg + Jardin des Plantes + the plants market on Ile de la Cite.
@@janebaker966 That would make a very interesting video too.
Other things that I've found stunning in Paris are around the Jardin de Plantes.
Grande Galerie de l'evolution for example is visually stunning.
Galerie de Paléontologie et d'Anatomie comparée is a feast of animal bones. Again you might think what the heck, but google it.
Plus you have Marce Monge near by for lunch, take it away , sit in the park and eat.
I recently found your channel and have been binge watching ever since. I lived and worked in Germany for over 30 years. Was a flight attendant for Lufthansa. Paris was my favorite city and I am enjoying watching you both share it with all of us. Paris is magical and there is a small, touristy, restaurant in back of Notre Dam on the Isle St. Louis. The exact name translated is 'As the old Galliers'. A basket of raw veggies on the table and delish ratatouille to your choice of protein. I visited there with my daughter just before we left Europe for Texas. Thank you for bringing back beautiful memories.
😊😊😊
Couldn’t agree more about Monoprix. After settling into our living quarters, our first stop is, de rigeur, the Monoprix on Ave. de L’Opera. We stock up on all kinds of goodies: cheese, fruit, veggies, olives, chocolate, and, mais oui, a few bottles of good wine at very nice prices. Thank you for your vids. 🤙🏽
US citizen here, living in Abu Dhabi and stopping in Paris for 5 days in January just prior to heading home for a long late holidays visit with family. I'm loving your videos and using them to help me plan for my time there. I really loved how you placed the name of the attraction (in this case a street), the metro stop, and a background of a map all in one frame allowing me to just snap one photo per location. Great work, please keep doing that! I look forward to more videos, best wishes.
Thank you! Happy travels.
Merci Colleen and Antoine 🇲🇫🌹About to leave for Paris-Loire Valley and I'm to the moon and back with excitement! Celebrating 50 years ago I taught school in Paris. (Ooh la la I'm 72!) Appreciation to both of you for all the Paris joy you deliver into our lives every Saturday❤ you make Paris easy, affordable and fabulous.
Bon Voyage!
❤Thank you Colleen & Anton for a great shopping video to purchase true and great Paris finds!! Love the covered passages 🛍🥗🍲💟
Glad you enjoyed it!
I never knew about the covered passages...another gem of a tip! Thank you! I can't wait for my December trip. The both of you come up with ideas for visitors that are so unique, interesting and authentic. Many thanks, M
they are great on wet winter days! And there are a few dozen more beyond those that Colleen mentioned. Google "top 10" or "favorite" paris passages.
Great job! I used to be a clothing buyer in the US and have been to many of those great streets! Always looking for new shops and great fashion.
Cœur de breizh is actually a "jeu de mots" because Breizh means Brittany (la Bretagne) and braise which means ember in english . Coeur de braise means a passionnate heart .They play with the sound of both words. Nice video!
Super, you two. Everyday life areas and shops, tips and hints. Very practical and useful. Love this, because bored with touristic stuff. Those little corners and family boutiques looks very special indeed. Made in France, plenty of hand made and different. What more to ask for? 👍Thank you
You should be paid by the Paris chamber of commerce, as well as the tourism office lol. You really are amazing. And this looks fabulous on my new 77" TV.
Thank you Antoine and Colleen for these amazing videos. It helped us a lot during our trip. I was hoping to run into you guys on the streets of Paris to personally thank you. We tried the onion soup and profiteroles au Chocolat at le louchebem and it was tasty. I was looking for portable nebulizer for my 2 years old since the US one didn't work due to power voltage difference and every pharmacist and shop owner were very helpful
I’m thoroughly enjoying your videos and looking forward to my next visit to Paris even more thanks to you guys. Love how Antoine’s French accent is developing over the series. Merci beaucoup 😊
AH, Antoine was born in France, and came back after decades in the U.S. So maybe he's losing his American accent :)
Fabulous reliving my solo trip in 2005. You two are relatable & adorable 🎉
Thank you!
Love all the quirky and hip shops and restaurants in Le Marais.
we are visiting Paris next year ( May ) and your videos have been inspirational! I am a fan of walking around, discovering streets like the ones on this video. I am not very enthusiastic about standing in lines for museums or tourist attractions, I think the city in and of itself is the star!
Discovering the nooks and crannies of Paris is the best!
I am leaving in 20 days and same as you. I love to walk and feel the city.
You work very hard to give you viewers valuable information in a very pleasant way. Thank you.
Im an adult and im intrigued by the kids toy store because i like to buy myself toys. Its just not different than make up to me.. I play with make up too and with paint brushes and canvas.. And toys are equally works of art sometimes.
I love them!
My sister-in-law lives on rue de Lourmel in the 15eme arrondissment. It's a lovely little neighborhood and she's got a great view of the Eiffel Tower from her flat.
How wonderful!!
Is she perhaps renting the appartment or know anyone who’s renting a room or studio? I like that area !
It is a great area with a wonderful cheese shop at the top of rue Lourmel near metro Dupleix.
Thank you 😊
I love L’Artisan Parfumeur! In Australia it costs over $300 a bottle. So worth it! I’ll definitely be shopping there in November when I visit France for the first time!! 💗🇦🇺
👍👍👍
I use my kislux as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or an hing that can damage the interior.
I love that blouse you're wearing with the pink/orange. Very flattering on you! great video again!
Much love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️ 💙
Another great video. I just met a woman who is going to Paris this week and I told her before you go you need to watch Les Frenchies. She said, "I've watched all of their videos! It's one of my favorite channels!" You should (and will) have lots more Subscribers. Your channel is exceptional. Thanks for taking us on all of the fun adventures!
Awe, thank you for sharing that story (and spreading the word about our channel) ♡
We loved Monoprix, Mas du Roseau and Fragonard!!! Your videos really helped us when we recently traveled to Paris ❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Some hidden gems in my view are Rue de Passy in the 16th with high end brands as well as neighbourhood shops. Another one is Rue de Levis in the 17th..
Rue de Passy was on the list but didn't make our top 10 😞
And don't forget that shopping sreet often means shoppng neighborhood. Don't forget to look left and right down perpendicular streets. There are usually some great shops "off the beaten path".
true story
What a wonderful video, I felt like I was following you and having a great day in Paris! Thank you so much Colleen and Antoine! And I just ordered your puzzle, looking forward to receiving it and start working on it - so happy to support you in a small way and have a little part of your work in our house! ❤
Thank you!
Colleen!! That combo of pink, orange, and dark blue looks great on you! Thanks for another great video!
My wife and I will be in Paris August 1-11 for the Olympics. Our hotel is in the 9th. It’s our first trip to Paris (my wife’s dream trip), and she definitely want to check out the places in this video. Maybe we’ll run into you doing one of your videos. We’d love to thank you personally for all the great info that’ll make our first trip much smoother!
Merci to Antoine and Colleen for this exciting tour of France 😊😊
Wow more great info for shopping in Paris, well done guys
Thank you 🤗
Loved it! You gives us regular people the affordable Paris we all need to see!!🥰
Definitely!!
Wonderful video. Lots of great information. Thank you!
My favorite market street is Rue Cler and its side streets. But that was before the pandemic. Haven't been back since then so I don't know if it still has its delights. My late wife and I rented an apartment around the corner for a week and got a coking class from a Parisian chef in our tiny apt kitchen. He took us shopping to the produce, seafood markets, deli, boulangerie and wine shop on Rue Cler, improvising a lunch menu based n what looked good in the markets that day. We also picked up some Berthillon ice cream as part of the dessert. Unforgettable. The view of the Tour Eiffel from the apt was a bonus.
Rue Clerc is lovely and posh, one of my favourites too.
Rue Cler is great. It's mostly food with d'une other small shops. It's probably just as you remember.
Your content has been my holy grail for my November Paris birthday trip . Great job good explaining, just perfect
These videos are so fun to watch. I found it useful when I travelled to Paris. Thanks for making them.
@LesFrenchiesTravel • This is Perfect! The added Google Maps was the crowning 👑 touch! You guys are the 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕! ♥️♥️♥️
This is my kind of shopping. Merci. This will help me plan my trip better
Great suggestions! My wife and I are having lunch at Le Cafe du Commerce as I’m writing this and will be headed to Monoplix when we’re finished.
Thank you! Perfect for planning my next trip. And, Collen, that purple and pink flowered blouse is absolutely lovely!!
Love this video and the map you included. Love walking these neighborhoods
Thank you 😊
Awesome advises !! Love the food shops on these streets 😋😆
Glad you like them!
Hi there, just left Paris on Monday and now are in London. Thanks for all your tips for traveling in Paris, I can’t wait to go back! Loved it soooo much
😊😊😊
So informative. Realized while watching just how different shopping has become here in the usa vs Paris (or Europe in general). Everything here is becoming online shopping...indicative of the internet society we've become. The human interaction so much a part browsing is gone. Wonder if Frommer's has a map of all Parisienne "street malls?' Will save this video..thanks again. Wisconsin.
You're very welcome ❤️
You two are such a cute couple…love your videos, they are informative as wells as fun to watch!! Thanks a million!!
Thank you for watching
What a great video! You two make it so fun!
So happy you have shown rue de Rambuteau. Im staying on rue de Rambuteau in a lovely airbnb. Who knows perhaps I will see you strolling around there. Would be fun. Your ultimate fan, Josef.
Another great video. I love finding unique shops so adding all these to my to-do list. And I just ordered the beautiful puzzle!
Yay, thank you!
we are coming to paris on the 26-28…. are available to have a glass of wine and a snack… love your videos
merci😊
You look great in that pink/purple blouse! Love your vlogs. I am coming to Paris in five weeks. So exited!🌷
Great idea with those puzzles! ❤❤❤ And thanks again for showing the best things in Paris!
Magnifique et très splendide thème sur les magasins françaises de la belle ville de Paris
It took me a while to realise that Antoine is actually French - his English is so good!
He lived in the US for a while
Ooohh, I would love one of your puzzles but, alas, no space to relax and put one together! As an aside, how you went to Paris before meeting Antoine…but that’s another story!🤫 also love it when you guys pronounce correctly le Metro names…i mispronounced so many of them when I was there too many times…each trip I did get better though…enjoyed all these wonderful places, merci!!!
Thank you!!
An absolutely fantastic informative video!! Merci 😊
Thanks, Guys. That was great!
Bonjour les frenchies. Its Josef and I’m the first to comment yeah. Perfect video full of great info. Shopping neat le Tour Eiffel is fun. Great suggestion about shopping at the Monoprix. Ill be back in paris in 4 days. Can’t wait. All my best. Josef.
I guess we accidentally picked a hotel near the Rex Theater. You’re absolutely right! There are many places to shop right near me!
great location!!
@@LesFrenchiesTravelDefinitely! And I’m walking to La Calife as I’m typing this comment. You’ve made our first trip to Paris easy and enjoyable!
@@LesFrenchiesTravelLoved your shopping suggestions. We’re walking to Samaritane Pont-Neuf tomorrow! I hope I don’t need a GoFundMe page after!
I wish this video had been out sooner. I was in Paris 😢in July and stayed close to the Eiffel Tower. I really enjoy your videos, and watched them before our trip. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks. We will keep them coming.
You are the best informational guides today!
Thank you!
Another great video! My personal favourite shopping street in Paris is Rue de Buci in the 6eme. Fantastic shopping street and so quintessentially Parisian!
Haaaaaaa! Another wonderful video! Merci! Love
😊❤️👍
🎉 another amazing video 🥳 thank you
Bonjour,
Hello from New York Cty !
I love your informative vdeo about iconic Paris.
Thank you very much for your wonderful video.
I am wishing you good health&long life.
Thank you!
Lovely video as usual. I have an idea for you, if I could share! Authentic Parisian food in London.
It would be unique as content. Though you have to take Eurostar back and forth, yet requesting you to make a series.
4:36 Rue des Martyrs is one of my favorite streets. My friends and I joke that such a lively street would have such a sad name. LOL
I wondered who were the martyrs?
ain't that the truth 😅
Wish we had seen this video before our trip but it will be very useful for our next adventure in Paris. Thank you!
Colleen I must say, that you look beautiful in that pink and navy blue blouse and navy pants. Nice video, thank you.
I love your show! So want to be back in France! Mainly to eat, go to cathedrals and museums, and shops. Hopefully in a couple of years, maybe we could meet in Dijon - my fav place for excellent restaurants. Stay healthy and keep on filming...
The way you describe Paris is delicious.....
Another great video, I will need more than ten days for our next trip to Paris.😃☺
I think our "mind image" of the Champs Elysee lingers from those stylish 1950s Hollywood movies! Love Monoprix. I was a bit chuffed that i actually knew three quarters of those streets. Ive never yet been up the Eiffel Tower or in The Louvre. Id much rather do like in this film and explore the neighbourhoods.
Exactly 💯
Thank you my family go to Paris next week ❤❤
We will be visiting Paris after a several-year hiatus this coming December; this was wonderful and informative!
😊❤️👍
Another great common sense video guys. Keep up the good work.😀
Hello! Love all of your videos. I enjoy the food videos, but did you ever create a video on shopping at the les brocantes in Paris? I would so love to see one if you have, but if not, that could be a new take on what to do when visiting Paris. Thanks for sharing your French adventures!
Best!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
😊😊😊
Thank you for this vlog. Have an amazing week. Mercì.

Your videos are superb...I am impressed how informative your Frenchie videos are. So helpful for people like me who was a first time visitor...Will upload soon my 5 day trip to Paris...:)
😊❤️👍
I was in Paris a couple of months ago. We stayed in the 8em arrondissement, and we were only a few hundred yards from the Arc de Triomphe. We must have walked down the Champs Alysees a dozen times. The only thing I bought there was a charger for my iPad at the Apple Store. Most of what I found there was available back home.
So true! It's pretty and vibrant. But it's a big ipen air shopping mall
In Thanksgiving: { USA 🇺🇸} : btw: The Presentation ~ “ Les Frenchies “ btw: is amazing 🤩 beyond belief: again: amazing 🤩 beyond belief!!!
Thank you so much for this video! We are staying in Le Marais during our trip in May. I love the map, metro stop, and specific street names and areas in your videos. Your information is so practical and helpful. I am going to have my children watch your video about ordering at a French restaurant. The concept that the French don't allow substitutions is very foreign to them. Have you ever thought about doing a video on French Brands that can only be found in France? For example, regional cosmetics, kitchenware, perfume, clothing, etc? We discovered the Lourmarin brand of sunblock, lotions, etc, when we were in Provence. It would be wonderful to find something like that in Paris. Thank you again!
What a great video. Thank you.
You're welcome
Thanks. Enjoyed as usual.
😊😊😊
FWIW- Colleen looks beautiful 🤩 and Antoine looks dapper!!!
Wow. Great information. Thanks 👍
As usual, this is a very good video! I just wanted to add to the rue de Turenne part, that it meets up with rue Bretagne and the Marché des Enfants Rouges - which is a big bonus! Rue Bretagne (and Square du Temple) is/are my favorite people-watching area(s) in Paris!
Sorry - my comment above was less about shopping and more about people-watching! I’ll just give a thumbs up about Monoprix. This is where I pick up specialty salts, spices, mustards, and gifts-in-jars to take home! Love it.
Yes!
I've been to the Monoprix in menzel bourguiba tunisia as a kid in the early 90's.
Great video...I love shopping 😂😂👍👍
This is amazing, thank you for the guide. If you can include the recommended metro stations and segment up the video, it would be perfect!
Super fun video as usual and thank you for mentioning GLAZED, that’s a new one for me! (Have you been to MOUSTACHE?)
4:41 The most famous cabaret is Chez Michou, 80 rue des Martyrs, where transvestite parodies of female celebrities perform while diners enjoy their meal.
