Honestly thought the song itself was awful! With that being said I thought she was amazing and deserved the golden buzzer. She came out n this cute little dress and shoes so the song and her voice was totally unexpected.

I think they dressed her up to fool the audience but don’t think for a minute the judges don’t know what’s happening when they come on.
She could be an innocent little girl. I’ve seen lots on here with adult sounding voices.
I know this young lady and her family dresses her very conservatively all the time. She absolutely loves dresses. When it’s cold here she still wears her dresses with tights and Mary Jane’s. She dresses like the rest of the girls go to school with her. The whole family is delightful.
I may be the only person who disagrees with this, but for a 9 year old to be singing about a relationship seems not right to me. No, you don't to be singing Disney tunes, but something more appropriate for her age group.
About half of songs sung by these powerhouse kids are inappropriate.

The lyrics simply express an overwhelming devotion. You could apply this kind of love to any person. There is nothing specific to an adult relationship. That’s the thing about music, it touches everyone in different ways from their own perspective.
