I’ve only been burning Goose Creek for about two months…. But I’ve got a looooot of thoughts about them lol. My experiences after burning about a dozen are All. Over. The. Damn. Place. Strength and throw I find is generally really good, particularly their Vanilla candles.. some of the strongest vanilla/marshmallow candles out there. Burn performance is all over the place… some are unforgivably dirty and sooty. They need to be watched closely - can turn on you in an instant. Generally speaking, burning any of them longer than two hours is a risk. The flip side of this is that I actually enjoy lighting them sometimes knowing I’ll get strength and throw almost immediately - and want to be able to blow it out after an hour if I’m heading out or something. Never have issues waiting on a wax pool with these ones. This one is very similar to BBW Vanilla Bean, but stronger. I really liked it. There is also a Marshmallow Sugar candle from GC which is similar but even stronger. Great review!
I’ve only burned 3 of them & have come to the same conclusion as you. I bought 12 the other night before their sale ended, mostly Fall & Winter scents. I think they’re in the similar “risk” category to me as BBW. I might get some great ones, others are going to be duds. But when I can get them under $10 each, especially as a reviewer, I think it’s worth giving them a try.
I agree. GC does generally give me fantastic throw and what impresses me most is how strong their vanilla/marsh candles are. Whipped cream and cashmere is my new obsession and I'm just gobsmacked by how good it is and how strong for that kind of scent.
Mine was a 6 as well which I thought was pretty good for a Marshmallow scent. I burned it in my bedroom mostly. This one performed good for me through-out the entire burn. Great review!

I have the same experience with most candle companies :D

Thanks for reviewing this candle, Katie. This is a candle that I haven't tried from GC. I'll definitely add this one to my next order.
You’re welcome! I placed another order the other day & repurchased this one. It’s a great basic for my collection. 😊
GC also has a Vanilla Bean, which I prefer to both Marshmallows and Marshmallow Sugar. I think it's a richer scent.
Good to know because I actually included that one in my order that I placed the other day!
Goose Creek actually has a Vanilla Bean candle too. Walmart sells it.
I actually just bought it a couple of days ago but my order hasn’t shipped yet. 😊
@@katiesjoyfullifeit is delicious and very good throw for a vanilla candle. It filled my life and lungs on the warmer.

I made another order the other night before they ended their clearance sale. I made sure to throw another one in that haul. 😊
What is your favorite vanilla candle and from what candle company can you purchase it from?
Off the top of my head, I would say Homeworx Birthday Cake is my favorite vanilla gourmand fragrance.
@@katiesjoyfullife Thank you, Katie.
Their candles are usually fine for the first 1/2-2/3, but after that the strength and throw go down TREMENDOUSLY and they become almost unscented
Good to know!
