Ah... the simple times in life. My dad and I would go to the arcade w/ a huge bag of quarters and we'd play this game for hours. After _Pizza Hut,_ we'd go to the arcade. This was my favorite game. Only thing, I was never able to properly maneuver the lil' stick so I'd always lose. I loved Ryu, Cammy and Chun-Li. I _like-ted_ when Chun-Li did that _Spin-Ton-Kick_ sideways. I always thought that was so sick.
I love this game. When it first came out to the arcade I got so good at it that when it would be serviced they would put the difficulty and speed all the way up.
+josh langley .....rly...? snes was a butcherd port of course, but it had way better sound color graphics etc and button layout then the genesis layout....pushing start to switch to punches and kicks? either your just trolling or idk...
+josh langley Not really. The Genesis versión is absolute garbage. Awful music, controls and graphics. I still cry at how they butchered the music on the Genesis versión. Their port of SFII was much better than SSFII's port
It seriously isn't that big of a deal with blood censorship imo. It's still the same game. The only thing that would be, to be mad at would be like pretty much any original arcade games that were ported to SNES and or Mega Drive. Which would mean missing few frames of animation.
Cuanta nostalgia, cuando les ganaba a todos allá por 1998, cuando era un adolescente feliz y no me daba cuenta, (suspiro) cómo quisiera volver a aquellos años.
When the original Super Street Fighter 2 was released in arcades everyone complained that it was too slow, we were all used to playing Street Fighter 2 Turbo at that point so for them to have the gameplay be so slow made no sense to me! They got it right with Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo though!
Very good memories. I used to play it on Nintendo sega game with two controllers at my cousin's. When I was a child. I loved Ryu, M.Bison, Ken, Guile. Fei Long was also good. Then in my bodyhood, I played it on my PC. I also used to go to Arcade and watch people there playing it a lot in my childhood. It was indeed fun. Old times lol
its been 20 years since I played older games like these. You expect me to remember something from 20 years ago? it would have to be very, VERY fucking tragic in order for ME to remember something for such a long period of time.
well dont expect me to remember something from 20 years ago, that's all Im saying. I specifically said I started fighting games with mortal kombat, killer instinct and the mvc series.
I used to beat all of them without any hadokens and stuff! I didn't know how to use these special powers, I was 8 and I would beat all of them without any super powers! ❤️ Thankyou so much for uploading this!

I love picking up trigger happy ones apart you know I always thought they had too much time on their hands they throw fireballs if you jump they do a dragon punch but the key is to jump at the right distance and you can tear them up I do it all the time. They're so used to the fireball dragon punch trap that takes them a while to figure it out before they fit do in one round is already over. Any people pick 10 their dragon punch happy well all you got to do is stay down low and hit a lot punch when they come down and all those will miss. But what I really like to do is tear up the ryu trigger happy ones. Cuz it really takes no fighting ability to throw fireballs over and over the key is to get over on without being dragon punched and then hit your move. I have seen a lot of the Ryu trappers get frustrated with that. The computer is a sucker for that jump the fireball into the dragon punch but I found ways around that. One guy played the same cheesy game and I got got him with a DJ. Jump the fireball 2408 a dragon punch hit him with the max out the multiple punch that he does over and over and then it's stunned him and I went over and threw him and then hit him with my Kick and it was over after one more slide. I couldn't resist sliding it in saying all you got to do is figure it out because everyone that plays him does the same thing for fireballs and dragon punch when you come in. Boston Phil for that same thing that good human fighters won't fall for. I can do it with God or DJ and and usually get a double flawless those ones that like to throw fireballs and then dragging punch when you come in. Guy one time I done it I jumped in they done the dragon punch when they come down I dropped them on their head and then I hit him with a sonic boom and then two hits with the flash kick then threw him again and hit him with another sonic boom and it was over.
Kacho Man the cartoon series: Better plot, More characters, Cheesy animation, Cheesy fight choreography, Cheesy acting, No Dan Hibiki, No SFZ3 characters, No Nash, No X-Men, No Marvel Super Heroes, No puzzle gems, Etc.
There’s a version of Street Fighter in the SF2 series that uses different cartoon style 8 bit graphics where they resemble Mega Man characters or pixel art. Anyone know what I’m talking about?
The reason why I don't like this video because he should of use ryu's techniques more better than that I would have had a perfect in every fight on that video but he didn't
Does anyone know where to find the arcade version to this version of Super Street Fighter II? I've checked the Internet, but I just can't find a site. It looks like I may have to buy the parts and build the arcade; which I don't mind because as an autistic person, I enjoy putting machine parts together.
I've done it. Beat the game on max. level with all characters. Dhalsim is perhaps the most difficult of all, especially his invisibility and teleport moves.
🇯🇵 (Japan): Ryu y E. Honda 🇬🇧 (U.S.A): Ken, Guile y Balrog 🇨🇳 (China): Chun-Li 🇮🇳 (India): Dhalsim 🇷🇺 (Russia): Zangief 🇧🇷 (Brazil): Blanka 🇪🇸 (Spain): Vega 🇨🇷 (Thailand): Sagat y M. Bison 🇯🇲 (Jamaica): Dee Jay 🇭🇰 (Hong Kong): Fei Long 🇬🇧 (England): Cammy 🇲🇽 (Mexico): T. Hawk
Sheng long was fictional character mainly based on an aprils fools joke in the 90's the character can supposedly be used as a playable character but is very accomplicated to do and requires 6 perfects in a row u cant lose a round to m . bison and u gotta have a perfect facing bison wich means u would have to score a draw game because he cant get a hit on u if he does u cant fight sheng long sheng long is also said to be ryu's master
Street Fighter And Mortal Kombat will always kick ass on arcades

I’m glad I have my Dad’s old SNES, he still kicks my ass years after
I'm playing this exact game on SNES right now. One of the best invented fighting games.
+josh langley .....rly...? snes was a butcherd port of course, but it had way better sound color graphics etc and button layout then the genesis layout....pushing start to switch to punches and kicks? either your just trolling or idk...

CJR Onetwentyseven same hear! 😊
It was the year 2000. When I used to play and I still miss it❤️
The sound effects are amazing plus the game.
Cuanta nostalgia, cuando les ganaba a todos allá por 1998, cuando era un adolescente feliz y no me daba cuenta, (suspiro) cómo quisiera volver a aquellos años.
Igual yo. Que buenos recuerdos
Ahhh. So many good pizza parlor memories. "Mom can I have 50 cents?!?!"
I grew up in Syracuse so absolutely yes you are right
Wat is piza parlor?
@@realmundo9060 the dining area for eating at a pizza restaurant.
Yup same here in NY in the 90s. Lunch money was pretty much arcade money!
Man come here pizza hut classics before sega and n64 got off the ground.

So much fun at the arcade, well the Circle K arcade lol. I never got to play it too much until it hit the SNES.
3:36 - WTF!!!!
He was known for that BS. Cant trust the Russians. LOL
zangief exit to the stum so fast
That was some melee marth grab bs
It’s a 360 with jostick :) is very hard
ahahahhahha
6:26 hard punch , medium kick , and light dragon punch XD
Hello. good video. I suscribe your channel. Like

Ryu and Ken's fighting stance is so weird. It's like they expect someone to kick them in the nards.
Also Akuma
Soundtrack has always been 🔥 Fei Long stage was my favorite.
its been 20 years since I played older games like these.
Great game, much better than original Street Fighter 2 for Arcade.
Better than SF4 as well.
in
Why wouldn't it be better than Street Fighter 2 World Warrior? It was released 4 years after it and is essentially the same game with additions.
SF2CE is better
good job man, you really beat Bison up.
Ryu walks around the world without any travel documents
True as guessing the tournament sponsors paying for ryus travel lol
i still think this is THE game
3:37 well there goes the perfect
After 30 years, I realised no way E. Honda can jump like that in real life.
Funny how balrog doesn't jump like e Honda despite Honda being obese lol
1:38 Ryu vs. Chun Li one of my favorites.🎐
most love ryu vs sagat
its weird nowadays to play street fighter 2 and not see akuma as a secret boss
Holy shit, this dude just utterly destroyed Cammy omg
I used to beat all of them without any hadokens and stuff! I didn't know how to use these special powers, I was 8 and I would beat all of them without any super powers!
❤️ Thankyou so much for uploading this!
Buen gameplay, pero en el primer round con Zangief se tiró el perfect huevonamente.
Their shadows are perfect hearts. Man this game was great.
This is the definitive version of Street Fighter II for me.
That’s a fact
Three Bosses plus the Final bosses. Mike Bison, Bailrog, Sagat then you have rather Vega or Akuma/Gouki
Akuma is only in super turbo.
@@GardenCelluloids already knew that dude
Classic Memories!
Especially playing as Ryu!
Hado-Ken!😎✌️
My uncle is champion in is game and his favorite player whose Ken who like give me like
knowing the difference between arcade and snes verions. from music to animations
Boy, someone LOVES hadoken!
Zangief looks like chuky in child play movie . After the defeat of course
I’ve made as far as Sagat in Thailand I’ve never made it to M.Bison
Well of course. All of the original SF2 characters only had one winquote. You didn't know that?
my favorite of street fighter, sensie Ryu Yoshi, yondan black belt, shotokan Karate the best for me;-)
8:16 Anguirus' roar.
No, I didnt, actually. I started video games with Mortal Kombat and killer instinct and then moved to marvel vs capcom series.

back in the day... Yes
How am I suppose to know that you hadn't played this game in 20 years (especially when it's been re-released so many times since then)?
Great intro

Capcom is a giant game publisher company. Street Fighter, Megaman and Resident Evil improves that! #CAPCOMRULES
love it too cool
Very true
What does he say while spinning his foot around his body violently? I have been curious about this for the last 20 years...
TXLionHeart You're just now asking?
Edward Gaines Lol, yup, and apparently you're going to make me wait longer by answering my question with a question...
TXLionHeart Okay, the English version is Hurricane kick. The Japanese version is "Tat-su-mat-fru-keck!" Happy?!
Edward Gaines Yes! Thank you, sir!
He actually says "Tatsumaki senpukyaku", the name of the attack. Due to the way it's said, not all parts are audible, just the "Tats-mak-sen-pu-kyak".
The mid-1990's, live action Street Fighter movie is laughable.
+Thierry Cashew Luckily, we have the mid 90"s japanese Street Fighter II anime movie to compensate.
Kacho Man the cartoon series:
Better plot,
More characters,
Cheesy animation,
Cheesy fight choreography,
Cheesy acting,
No Dan Hibiki,

Nice Haduken spam
jesus..."you must be defeat sheng long...blah blah blah"....is this the only win quote Ryu has in this game?
Only in the Japanese version, there are more win quotes.
Does anyone know where to find the arcade version to this version of Super Street Fighter II? I've checked the Internet, but I just can't find a site. Always liked it when Zangief fell on the hammer and sickle in his own stage as a metaphor for the downfall of communism 😎
Hay
Now, beat the game with Dhalsim! He's been desperately trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty.
I've done it. Beat the game on max. level with all characters. Dhalsim is perhaps the most difficult of all, especially his invisibility and teleport moves.
Why doesnt he fight T- Hawk
Who's sheng long?
i want to play this game.
My brothers used to kick my butt in this 😆
Oh wowwww
Awesome
i would beat u, good job on E.Honda tho second round was good

Cammy’s level is bullshit. Why have em fighting on a bridge if you can’t throw em down into a spike pit after.
That would have been epic
What emulator did you use to play the game?
Is this mame? There was no audio for the opening intro
Just realized Cammy is the only character that lies flat on the ground wen defeated 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️😂😂😂

is it just me or is Dee Jay overpowered?

Stupid Question: Why is there no character naned Sheng Long? Was this an oversight?
Sheng long was fictional character mainly based on an aprils fools joke in the 90's the character can supposedly be used as a playable character but is very accomplicated to do and requires 6 perfects in a row u cant lose a round to m . bison and u gotta have a perfect facing bison wich means u would have to score a draw game because he cant get a hit on u if he does u cant fight sheng long sheng long is also said to be ryu's master
