a 'shield coin power based' identity genuinely sounds very cool, though i doubt itd work in limbus' current landscape, obviously itd practically force 2 coins, but intentionally using a guard skill on a weaker / lower damaging enemy skill to gain shield before empowered skills would be pretty cool
Could even make it a new thing unique to Zwei, Shield HP that doesn't go away.

@@row4298I love her, but she's basically worse Erlking mechanic wise since both of them can use a skill 3 when certain conditional is met. But unlike Erlking/ wild hunt...she can't even trigger it own her own

having a wrath and a gloom skill makes her more survivable considering she can maximize Phlebotomy and Grey coat
while sadly i doubt they'll ever rework any IDs, i still think the idea of replacing her poise with defense lvl up is cool, and it could still be partially done
if say, PM released uptie 5, they could double her passives and on coin effects related to poise and replace those doubles with defense lvl up. idk how exactly it would work out balance wise, cuz it might be a little much, or very underwelming, idk. i do think that they should up her passive shield max, to hopefully something more dynamic than just 20 shield. its very little and keeps getting less the further in lvl cap we go up. something like 5-10% of max HP would be better
But alas... They'll never rework any IDs. Which just f*cking sucks.
i don't think they even can rework IDs due to how gacha laws are

You know, considering how some tanks work... I wish some IDs had "Barricade" card from Slay the Spire😂, as their passive: don't lose shield at turn end.
Because you could prepare shield in advance and then lose it at one turn.
Also, we need multicoin Evade and Guard skills. For evade it would work like regular skill - fail Evade, lose coin, reroll again.
For guard - each roll of coin would add respective value of shield.
Like Attack skill, but guard. So that defense power up wouldn't be so useless in the actual tanks and not only Evade IDs.
It would be really nice: 10+2 three coins skill, that could grant up to 52 shield on demand (with completed conditionals, of course). Because, currently only Zwei Gregor can master up something like that.
And also, unbreakable coins on AOE attacks almost kill purpose of tanks. But chain battles system definitely kills the tank concept, if you can afford to lose up to 6 (!!!) sinners- basically having a two teams to fight a boss or stage.

blubberbubble is a status effect that does essentially that and you get it from using sinclair's Zayin EGO "cavernous wailing" (the toad one)
in the effect description it is referred to as a " 'Shield Management' Effect", but sadly there have been none other of that type of effect since, which i think is very sad. shield is such an underused mechanic
also kinda ironic that it's on sinclair, who's only good tank ID is zwei West... which doesnt have shield in its kit (has clashable guard)

I think a poise based shield tank could be neat like spending poise to crit a defense skill to double the shield up or forming shields from critical hits but Rodion is not quite that
Sadly El Director would rather release another Zwei Rodya instead of reworking the current one, just like young Sinclar

Why do you never get clear mirror for ids like this? Helps with damage And clashing. I think you've mentioned clear mirror before but i cant remember. If so, just remind me.
In my more recent runs I’ve banned its use as I’ve decided that much like glimpse of flames and thrill it trivializes the run to such an extent that I don’t find it particularly enjoyable to use. It’s fun for big numbers but not if you actually want a challenge.

Question : how do you get rest bonus for the starting buffs ? do you play 5 other teams between every two solo runs or you pick whichever fully rested sinner and you change them in the first store?
I slot in whatever random characters I have until I reach 100 rest bonus. That gives me 4 characters I can use consistently in every run which are usually Chef Ryoshu, barber Outis, one of the healing Gregors and Zwei Sinclair(whichever I fuel better). Then I change them at the first shop.
… Is it weird that I kinda wanna see a Zwei Gregor solo run?
