That is not true. I am Zambian and we do not have that tradition in this country. That is an islamic tradition. Many Africans adopted the tradtion from Muslums, but other Africans dont. Its a thing in West, North Africa, and some parts of East Africa.
In this region we are Bantu people and the right hand thing is not part of our culture. Only those who have been influenced by Muslims like in som parts of East Africa.
I think Southern Africa and most of central Africa dont practice that.
