Chef Amy.. Love this.. Some yummy goodness Tuna Casserole.. My great grandmother used to make tuna casserole when I was young like around 12 years old and I never forgot that taste.. It was a childhood favorite for me.. I never learned how to make it or even tried to make it but I think I will try it after watching this.. She use to use large egg noodles for her tuna casserole as I can still remember it to this day.. I use to love when the egg noodles was a little burnt from the cheese but as soon as you went diving in the inside OMG.. Yummy goodness.. She baked her tuna casserole with perfection.. Nice share Chef Amy.. Miss you girl.. Keep up the good cooking.. The Rookie Chef always here.. 💜💜💜💜
Reno!!! It is so good to hear from you my friend. Reading you describing your grandmother's casserole had my mouth watering. It literally comforted me reading your description and how you never forgot the taste. John's Mom makes one with cream of mushroom, jarred pimentos and noodles. You are so good with flavors that I bet with little effort you can recreate your grandma's casserole. I'll look in some of my old cookbooks to see if I might see a recipe to share with you. Hope you are doing well Reno. My email is amymurray169@yahoo.com
As a younger mom back in the day, I made my tuna casserole with cream of mushroom soup & egg noodles. But I’m definitely going to try your dads & when I do, I’ll try to let you know what we rated it, 😂😂
Thank you for sharing this Tuna casserole & as always, sharing that it was your dad's. When I was a little girl, my oldest brother learned to make a tuna casserole & would fix for my siblings & I. My mom was a working mother so he was a big help to her & all of us kids. You always bring back such special memories to me.❤
🎉I love that season that you put in there .I put it on steaks too. It is delicious. This looks good. I'm going to have to try it my soninlaw love tuna fish. He loved potatoes too. That will make him happy. That you for sharing with us tell your dad thanks to for letting you sharing.
What a great idea with the potatoes! Im going to try this! I use to buy the leseur green peas. Sometimes with the onions and mushrooms in them. I guess you’re probably back from vacation! I hope you had a wonderful time! I know John is happy you’re home. I still have not finished the vacation videos, but I will!
You are home???? I enjoyed your trip so much. I did worry but I also prayed so much that you were not sick. Can’t wait to hear you tell about your experiences while there. ❤ This recipe of your Daddy’s looks amazing. I’m not sure if I’ve ever had tuna casserole but I used to make tuna croquettes many years ago and loved it. You and your sister are so good to your Daddy. From experience, you will never regret it. How far on the farm is his place from your home? Btw, regarding parsley….it is healthy for us and has a number of benefits health-wise. I researched this a year or so ago and found that n´most of God’s herbal creations were not just for aesthetics. Welcome home, my sweet and precious daughter of my heart. 💜 Hope you have a chance to rest up…who am I kidding??😊 was your jet lag really bad? Stay warm….my heater went out…and you know I haven’t had heat other than a little heater in my bedroom which is where I am most of the time. I do have an electric blanket . Sometimes I wonder what else can tear up here. But knowing there are people sleeping on the streets in this very cold weather I try not to throw a pity party. I’m going to a land where temps are perfect, Health is perfect, and my Father is the King! I hope my mansion sits near yours. Love, prayers and hugs always. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜🥰🥰
Momma Vikki my jet lag was really bad. I didn't think I was ever gonna get back on my right sleep schedule. But I kept taking my vitamins and doing what I could and I'm good now. Came home with a terrible cough we all passed around in the bus. I called it Kennel cough. Lol. My Daddy is in the pasture across the road from John and me so we can see his lights on or off and his coming and going. It takes me 1 minute to get to him if he calls so I'm happy for thst and I'm sure he is too. Good to hear from you. Love you. 😊💜💜💜
I love tuna casserole, the 1950s way, too, but this looks really good. Have you done a salmon pattie video yet? That's another comfort food I remember being happy to see my mom make. Glad you're home safe and sound.

I have done a video but mine are tuna patties. My Daddy would make those as well. Same recip as salmon. I need to do the video again.
I put lemon juice in
My potatoe soup.
Right after it done. About
A teaspoon. And let it
Rest. It does bring out
A great flavor to the soup.
Yummy
