Patrick.....this is special for an old-timer like me.....this is a trip back in time for me. Do you remember the Go-Tag-Along camping trailers? My family had one in my childhood......which, was back in the day of Shasta also. Good grief man, I would be glad to own this iconic trailer from the past.....it's condition is unbelievable for it's age! Please continue reviewing campers of the past as well, for, you give sooo many great ideas for retirement to this old longhaul truck driver from Ohio! 😀
I love Shastas. We had one while I was growing up. We loved camping. This model is a year or 2 younger. FYI, the overhead 2 door cabinets were another bunk originally. At the very top of the wall, there were barrel locks on each end, even with the cabinet doors in the wall, the wall would lay down flat over the top of the top window frame. The top of the window frame had pieces of wood like the ledge of the bench, that the cabinet wall would lay flat on. Then a thin mattress would fold out on it and it would be for a kid bed. This gave you 2 options to use this area the way you needed to. Aww, good memories.

I like your colors and creative touches, such as the vinyl placemat replacement of the acrylic, and the decals on the table. Even if it isn’t traditional, it has its own retro beach look. I hope you do get to take her on the road for a motor writer residency, Laura.
i love her fabric on the dinette cushions. i have a camper like hers in design but a different company made mine.. hers is really cute and stylish.. wonderful

I would love to see it with original bunk bed, but it must have been tight in the upper bed. So I understand why the previous owner took down that bed. I would probably done the same, since I don’t really need an extra bed
