- The OFFICIAL tour of my 2023 Scout Olympic truck camper on a Ford 150 (5.5ft bed). Set to smooth jazz of course. Full feature walkthrough (exterior and interior), interior additions/modifications, favorite features, and how we have been using it so far. Truck mods include airbags and Fox Performance Elite suspension upgrade.

Nice video. I have a very similar truck but have the 2.7L eco boast w/ only 1600 payload capacity. Do you know what y'alls payload capacity is on your truck and are you cutting it close?

It handles quite well on this truck! To be honest I am not the most advanced big rig driver in the world lol and I find it pretty easy to drive. I drove it up I90 from Seattle in one serious wind event and it was totally manageable. We haven't seen any major winds like you get in Colorado or Wyoming since we got it though
Did you take the outdoor kitchen/drawer out of the camper to create your ski storage, or did that compartment come empty on your scout? If so how was the uninstall?
That compartment comes empty - i believe you can select an add-on slide out drawer as an option though
What’s the payload on the f150 w/the airbags and suspension?
1600 without airbags and suspension, not sure of the number with
Do you have the eco boost? What kind of mpg do you get with the camper on?
No eco boost. We average 15 mpg with the camper on and heavy tires 😅

The Yoho camper is about 920 pounds

All pricing is on their website (www.scoutcampers.com)! It varies by build. This build is around $30k.

Yeah our payload is 1600 as well and we are definitely cutting it close / usually over when loaded up with people and bikes. I believe the total weight of our camper build is ~1200 (it is printed on the factory sticker inside I will double check next time I am home). We added airbags and suspension to make us feel less bad about it haha
