- CROCHET LIP BALM HOLDER
This is an easy crochet level project. It is a very cute item that most ladies/girls can use. The balm holder can be attached to many things, such as: your keys, handbag, clutch, wallet, etc. It is also a great, quick crochet project which requires a very small amount of yarn.
So get your supplies ready and come crochet with me!
Yarn: Bella Baby Tootgarook, 4ply, 100% Cotton Yarn
Crochet Hook: F/ 3.75mm
Metal piece: Metal Swivel Carabiner Hook 4cm long & 2.5 cm wide

Row 1: Magic circle, 8sc in magic circle, tighten circle, slip stitch to the first sc
Row 2: 2 sc in each stitch (16 total), insert stitch marker into the last stitch
Rows 3-14: 1 sc in each stitch (16 total), (including the stitch with the marker, replace the marker in the stitch when done)
Row 15: 1 sc in each stitch (16 total), (including the stitch with the stitch marker. Do not replace the marker when done.)
Rows 16-26: ch 1, turn, 7sc
Cut yarn, leaving a tail long enough to sew down the flap and weave in the end.
Pull flap through the D-ring on the hook
Use a needle to sew the end of the flap to the back of the lip balm holder to secure the D-ring and hook

I dont know why but this is the second time im making this and i work very tight but i have still room over so the lipbalm just falls out :\
In that case use a smaller crochet hook & see if that helps
Hi ! How do you get it not to close while you are making the rows ?
Make sure you have 16 stitches after each round. Using a marker helps keep count
Do you do 15 rounds including the 2 you already did, or 15 additional rounds 10:35
15 additional rounds or more if you have a longer lip balm holder, hope this helps 😊
What weight is the yarn used? I can't find where it shows anywhere.
The yarn is 4ply
You say yarn is 4 ply. Does that mean DK-#3 or Worsted-#4 or something else?
I looked it up and 4ply is an old term not used much anymore to determine yarn size. So the old term 4ply would be a DK #3 in today's terms.
@@5alfalfa i think you're right. i tried with a WW #4 with just 6 sc in magic circle, E/3.5 hook, and i crochet tight- still too big, so #3 makes sense
I forgot to place my stitch marker and now have no idea which one exactly stitch is the last, how can I know which one it is or fix the problem another way?
Just continue working until u reach yr desire lenght, if u have a lip balm just measure it against it and then work your last 7 stiches to attach yr metal piece, hope this helps 😊

I was not being judgmental or harsh. I just simply asked why she was whispering and let her know it made it difficult to follow her tutorial. I have tried watching some of her other videos she whispers in all of them, so it wasn't because of a sore throat. Because of her whispering I am not able to hear her and follow her tutorials, so I have just moved on to another you tuber that I can easily follow. Have a great day.
