    Thank you very much for this tutorial, I used thick chunky yarn to make this and it made a perfect bag for my sister to put her water bottle in. She loved it. Will definitely be making more of these😁😁

    For everyone struggling to follow the pattern, here's something you can do! Instead of doing a slst, ch1 and sc1 at the end and start of every round, I just skipped this and got the same result! I just used a stitch market to mark the rounds. Hope this helped!! 😀

    • @crochetit

      Basically each yarn ball you purchase has the gram of how much yarn there is. 14g in this tutorial just tells you how much yarn was used to make the item.

      They do not mention the thickness of the yarn or the size on the yarn, but I compared it to another yarn (that is Dk yarn) and it seamed more or less the same thickness. So it is about the same thickness as Dk yarn.

    I just finished the spots. I have started with the cap, but I only get it until round 2. How do you get 18 stitches in round 3? If I'm right you finished with 12 stitches in round 2. If you make 2 SC in every stich you make 24 stitches in totaal right? I really don't get it. I hope you could explain it for me. Thanking you in advance.

    • @crochetit
      @crochetit  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For Rnd 3 you are first going to start with a ch 1, then sc 1 into the same place. Inc 1 into the next stitch. The next steps are going to be repeated throughout rnd 3 (*…*). *sc 1, inc 1* all the way around. When your done close/finish the round with a slip stitch.

    • @crochetit
      @crochetit  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi, I know that sometimes end up with more stitches, that is because the slip stitch that is made to close a round looks like an extra stitch. You can as you crochet to keep track of the stitch count or you could just to tight slip stitches so that it doesn’t look like an extra stitch.
      Hope this helps

    What are the difference of inc1 and sc1 into the same place? 🙈

    • @crochetit
      @crochetit  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Inc = increase (place 2 stitches into the same place), meaning the inc 1 you are going to 1 increase into the next stitch. If had said inc 2, you are going to increase 1 into the next two stitches.
      Same goes for the sc 1. Sc 1 means you are going to place 1 single crochet into the stitch and if it had sad sc 2, it means you are going to place 1 sc into the next two stitches✨
      Hope this helps💕

    When you’re starting the top, do you put two single crochets in each stitch all the way around or one because if I only put one it curves up but from my understanding of the pattern, you’re only supposed to put one, but yours is staying flat

    • @crochetit
      @crochetit  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 1st round you put 6 sc into magic ring. The 2nd round you put 2 sc into each st around.

  • @chiarrizard
    @chiarrizard ปีที่แล้ว

    I am currently following your video. Where do you sl st? Is it where you began the current round? Is it on the sl st before that current round or on the ch1? Or just on the next st? I tried to count the stitches but it's not coming up as a round.

    • @crochetit
      @crochetit  ปีที่แล้ว

      So basically the ch 1, in the beginning of a round, is just to reach the hight of a sc. When you do the slip stitch, jou skip the ch 1 on the single crochets side and slip stitch on top of the single crochet.

    • @crochetit
      @crochetit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I have a section in my tutorial that is called Crochet Abbreviation. There you can see the meaning of the short abbreviation to a word.
      inc = increase (2 stitches into the same place)
      If you are working with, for example, double crochets then the increase is going to be 2 double crochets into the same stitch/place. Same goes for other kinds of stitches when doing an increase. 2 stitches into the same place.
      Hope this helps😊
