230hp out of that engine if she's in good nick.. no problem.. I worked on the Valmets of the same era and the loved the extra hp and had no added problems up to about 230.. bigger coolers help though.. advanced timing to. Loving she's back on track again you'll need a front linkage on her soon.. stay safe 🏴

When I make a tool to do a job I paint it rither Yellow or red so that I can find it when needed
A contractor near us bought a 3690 new from Donohoes the Massey dealer in Wexford and Dublin in 1994. It was a beast on a 5 furrow plough or on a trailed harvester until 2002. Not sure where the tractor is now it’s a Wicklow regestration
She was at the ploughing match in Wexford in 94

Oh now that's brilliant, she sounds fantastic.
Lift should work if you disconnect the draft sensor pins follow the cable up from the pins to the first plug try one side at a time
How ya. Have a 3120 with the lift Gammy. Did the rear crank arm the one that goes onto the top of the link arms. Was very worn so sensor didn't know position of arms made a huge difference to it. Might be worth looking at.

Getting close to 90K Phil
If you don’t get the lift working properly can the lift rams be plumbed into a spool valve I have seen it done with a early fastrack it wasn’t perfect but it was a good temporary fix
Some of that masseys are horrendously troublesome with electric problems and other problems no wonder they dont sell as the older ones
I’m not a fergi man but must admit that the 3690 looks some unit 👍
My wifes uncle has a 3690 doing rd190hp at the p.t.o think one off ya have been in her on a run from a vdo an we had a 6190 at 182hp at the p.t.o an piped

Try the auto box off the 3075 is alternator putting out enough power plugs under bonnet plugs on auto box

Bad earth wire in loom coming from brain if you can find it had same problem in 3095
Another fine video Phil, father Phil and Lee are a fine crew they can fix anything and the money saved in labor is a plus. I am sure you are in there too, along with videoing, you all work together and get things done. It's nice the 6290 is back in action, is the other tractor back going the one with the fuel problem?
