Love this box and am so impressed with your creativity and attention to detail. Would never have thought to color edges of the papers, but it does make a difference. I wanted to make one of these boxes for my grandson for Valentine's Day. I am putting in 6 blank cards with envelopes and all kinds of things to decorate and make his own valentines. This is a difficult project and when you start in, you really realize just how difficult! LOL Some how I messed up with the beginning measurements and the scoring. My box ended up 10 " long! ?? I am not sure what I did wrong. I also had scoring on the ends of the box where I did not need it, but I did cover that up when I decorated with the paper. I was going to send you some pics to show you my finished box but I don't see that option here. Anyway, just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed this and will probably try another one and see if I can get it the right length! Thank you for this tutorial!
Don’t know how....but I’m just seeing this video today....lol! This is so beautiful! I’m going to make a few for Christmas gifts! You are so talented!!! Thank you SO much for this tutorial. xo
This is a wonderful & beautiful box. I think I'll try my hand & make 2 for my sister in laws & put 4 occasion cards inside for Christmas. Hope mine comes out as nice as yours. Thank you for being so generous & sharing this with us! I'm going to use G45 Eris Tales & Time to Celebrate. Happy New Year to you & yours, Linda :)
You always get a thumbs up from me Clare!! This is beautiful as always, love the little box and the photo cards. Thank you for sharing your wonderful projects!
Rocia (below) is right, the box comes out at 4 3/4 and the other pieces are 5 inches across. However, with a slight adjustment all came together beautifully. I shall make another, thank you !

Please could you let me know the weight of card stock that you use and also where do you purchase yours from? I need to order some more card and the last lot I had I wasn't too keen on, thank you, Jackie
Hi Jackie, thanks for calling by and your comment. I use my own brand of card available in the card and chipboard section of my website at www.mycreativespirit.co.uk. I use it for all my projects and ship it all over the world. :-)
I love this project, I am trying to make one but I'm not getting the right measurements once I score & fold every thing. My box is measuring 6 1/2 x 4 3/4, the cards are measuring 6 7/8 x 5 and will not fit in the box am I measuring these wrong?
