Hi, if I want to make a dress like this for a civil wedding or courthouse wedding, could you give me some ideas on what fabric would be suitable, and what type of cape would go well with it? If I use a two-tone color scheme, which colors would you suggest for the body and sleeves? Also, what kind of fabric would be suitable for the sleeves? Thank you so much! I really need help with ideas for my upcoming civil wedding in November, as I’m trying to sew the dress myself. ❤🙏 bless you.
Apart from White and cream colors, you could use any of these colors Choose the one that compliments your skin tone Ivory (dress) and Champagne (Cape) Soft peach (dress) and ivory (cape) Coral (dress) and Cream (cape) Mint Green (dress) and White (cape) Charcoal Grey (dress) and White (cape) Soft Sage (dress) and Cream (cape) For the fabrics Dress use (Crepe, Duchess, Velvet, etc) Cape use (Silk, crepe, quality lace, light damask, etc) Note: you can attach trimmings to beautify your dress Look for original and shining fabrics, you could make use of bridal stores to get your fabrics and accessories) Any type of cape will be fine I hope I've been able to answer your questions ma Congratulations to you ❤️❤️❤️
I meant that the front bust is bigger than the back and because of that, we don't divide the bust by 4 But we allocate more bust to the front. Watch my video on that basic bodice, you will understand better
